Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!
Freshness has always been at the heart of what we do. We bake around the clock to ensure our customers receive the very best cupcakes and cakes for every occasion. A commitment that still defines who we are today.
We care deeply about the experience each customer has with Lola’s. From baking and decorating, to carefully loading orders onto our own fleet of dedicated drivers, every step is designed to make sure each delivery is as special as it should be. Our customer service team is always on hand to help with enquiries, and the occasional problem!

Cake was absolutely amazing
Cake was absolutely amazing. Raspberry and lemon, full of flavour, moist and very pretty. Wording was easy, cake ready for pick up and kept cool. Strong bag to carry it too. 70th birthday girl loved it!

Never judge a book by its cover... hmmm something opposite here I would say. The cake decoration was beautiful with fresh fruits. yes, the cake look was beautiful - and I wish I could same the same for the content - sadly not - the sponge was dry, cream very 'buttery' and to be honest with you - nothing for me to say hmm even nice. I did not finish the slice. So no, sorry Lola's - I won't be buying again.

I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with your recent purchase. All of our cakes are baked fresh for delivery but we do advise to leave them at room temperature for 3 hours before serving, otherwise they can appear a little dry.

Delicious cupcakes that looked impressive at out event.
Ordered for our 90th celebration at recent exhibition.
Wanted an impressive cake that was easy to serve and this was just perfect.
Large scale,with bite service mini cupcakes that looked great and tasted delicious.
Was pretty pricey at £150, but was the best option I could find at short notice, with lots of options to Collect in London right up until 8pm at night.

Disappointing experience! Where was my ready to collect text message?
I placed an order for collection from your London Covent Garden branch within plenty of time. On the collection day I waited for a text message to confirm that the cake was ready for collection but that message never came. I waited for a large part of the day until I finally called customer services only to be informed that the cake was at the store ready for collection! I ended up having to do a mad dash to collect the cake and get it home in time to head back to the west end and not miss the theater show I was taking my sister to for her birthday that evening, when I could easily have collected the cake earlier in the day if I had received a message confirming readiness. I find that really bad service from a company that prides themselves on good customer service. The least I expect when paying quite a large sum for a tiny cake is a text message letting me know that it’s ready to be collected! The staff at the store were really friendly and professional so this is no reflection on them, but this was overall a very disappointing experience.

Our text collection alerts are automated, so it’s disappointing to hear you didn’t receive one on this occasion. I completely understand how frustrating that must have been, especially given your plans. The collection time for your order is always stated in your confirmation email, so even if a text doesn’t arrive, you’re welcome to collect from that time onwards. You can also call our customer service team at any time to check the status of your order.
