Ordered April 4 and have now waited 15 days for our goods. They have continually ignored all attempts to contact and clarify our order and now we are requesting refund to be also ignored. Only a fool will buy from these guys after reading all the bad reviews. All I can see happening now is bankruptcy

First of all....I'm not quite sure how Emily Cooper came to the conclusion that "they are a small company who have been overwhelmed by the rush in orders due to Covid 19. They are doing their best and delivering on their promises. Give them a little time to get your order out to you, they’ll do it." Not quite sure that the rest of the reviewers agree with you Emily. Why do you feel the need to defend these criminals?

In my dimension of reality, Liqroo took my money and delivered nothing.

I've reported to this shambolic company to:
West Yorkshire Police for cyber fraud
UK National Trading Standards for online fraud
Fraud UK for online retail fraud

Didn’t deliver, no comms, got money back from PayPal luckily.

I was promised that my order would be delivered today (nearly 3 weeks late) by the latest. I agreed some changes to my order on Wednesday evening to ensure this would happen and no delivery has been received. This is completely unacceptable. I demand that you get this sorted immediately and I will be expecting at least 15% discount off the cost of my order if it is delivered tomorrow and 15% off for each day it is late after that. The very least that I should have received is a call or email advising me of any problems, this is not customer service in any way shape or form

not delivered.Still waiting refund. Not responding to Paypal request for refund or their dedicated refund email address. DO NOT ORDER from this company. Even in these difficult times i have placed orders with other companies who have delivered goods ordered or refunded asap if there is a problem. This company has done none of these things. I repeat do not order from this company

Give these guys a chance! They sent out two deliveries to cover the huge order I placed with them and I am a happy customer. They are a small company who have been overwhelmed by the rush in orders due to Covid 19. They are doing their best and delivering on their promises. Ordered 50 quid worth of drinks 3 weeks ago with no delivery yet. No response to emails and no response to phone calls. Please please stay away from these guys - they are absolute scammers!!!

Order part filled including a cheaper substitute (white rum instead of dark) now 3 weeks waiting for case of beer that site says is in stock. Don't respond to emails or phone calls.
Have some sympathy due to current Covid lockdown but there's zero customer care and web-site still implies deliveries in a few days.
Don't touch them at least for now.

ORDERED NEARLY 3 WEEKS AGO AND ITEM STILL NOT ARRIVED AFTER WE WERE TOLD 3-5 WORKING DAYS!! NO REPLIES FROM THE COMPANY AND NOT INFORMED ABOUT WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH OUR ORDER.

Not even worth one star! I expect a full refund from this company ASAP.
Unfortunately bought £90 worth of goods from them over two weeks ago. Appreciate the situation at the moment isn’t normal, however when I try and cancel my order I can’t get through to anyone, no replies to my emails and their ‘online chat’ service is clearly not working, constantly in a queue of 11 and no one gets back to you. ABSOLUTE
SCAM. At a time like this when we are ISOLATED and are relying on food and beverage companies to deliver to us, this is absolutely disgusting as they are clearly taking people’s money with zero intention of supplying the goods. DO NOT USE.

This is a scam company do not buy at any price. They will take your money and not deliver the goods when you complain they fail to communicate or fob yo off with promises. A typical chat follows: -

STILL NO COMMUNICATIONS OR DEVIVERY

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! BE AWARE - SUSPICIOUS POSSIBLY FRAUDULENT COMPANY. I placed my order a month ago and am still waiting to receive it despite their promise of delivery within hours (I am within M25 radius too). Tried to liaise with Company numerous occasions via telephone, text and email and have yet to receive a single response. No one answers the phones despite trying to ring them at different times of the day. The last time I called the language of the recorded message was not in English nor in a language I recognise which gives me suspicion as to the validity of this company. I have tried to recover my money from Liqroo via my Bank although I am not holding out much hope given I think this is a suspicious/fraudulent entity and, therefore, beyond the scope of UK customer protection legislation.
TO SUMMARY - AVOID LIQROO AT ALL COSTS.....

They promised to deliver within 4 to 7 days! 12 days later customer service just let you down and say they have delivered. Steer very clear they are useless.Read the trust pilot first!!!

Only received half my order. Sent numerous emails and never received a reply. Terrible service I acknowledge things are difficult under the current situation but at least reply to your customers. Would never buy from them again and would never recommend. Raised a refund request with paypal now. Not what anyone needs in the current environment we find ourselves in especially as we are trying to use delivery services.

Even though though so called COO sent out a communication apologising for service delivery levels and making more empty promises still after 5 mails numerous messages thy took over 3 weeks to deliver half my order and refuse to Answer where the rest of my order is. Although they are still advertising availability online. Crooks, 20th Century thieves they should not be allowed to carry on in business and absolute disgrace and even now they still hold my money and no delivery which is fraud and theft please public avid at all costs better you search elsewhere or wait to get back to normal these clowns are just con men and need to be prosecuted

Ordered groceries during the Coronovirus shelter in place order as there were no available delivery times at Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, Waitrose or Ocado. Upon placing the order, I immediately received an email confirmation of from WorldPay stating:

"This confirmation only indicates that your transaction has been processed successfully. It does not indicate that your order has been accepted. It is the responsibility of LIQROO LIMITED to confirm that your order has been accepted, and to deliver any goods or services you have ordered."

An email receipt email from Liqroo never has never been received. I called their number and was referred to an inept person who suggested that I reorder and spend another £84! I filed a complaint using their email process and I immediately received a confirmation of the complaint filing. There has never been any follow-up or contact from anyone at Liqroo regarding my complaint.

I contacted my bank today to report the situation and request a refund due to non-delivery of merchandise. They are promptly refunding me and also stated that they have received numerous fraud complaints regarding similar dodgy practices at Liqroo.

UPDATE: After returning to the Liqroo site and seeing their smirking faces on the "About Us" page on their website...then reading the TrustPilot complaints, I'm shocked that Liqroo is allowed to SYSTEMATICALLY commit fraud with impunity. They are licensed to sell liquor and to do business in England and Whales. With that in mind I've reported their fraudulent behavior to the UK ACTION FRAUD National Fraud & Cyber Crime Reporting Centre. They have an online reporting link, but trust pilot does not allow it to be posted, but you can google it using the search term "UK Action Fraud".

If you are using their Google or Apple app....you can also report these fraudulent practices to get them removed from the App Store. Run these LOSERS out of the online selling business!

I ordered £125 wprth of drinks on 24th March 2020. As with all the other complaints I understand the current situation is hard, but there are no restrictions on emails or phoning peope so I don't accept any excuse to not communicate - time after time i went on to their chat system to complain and time after time I was fobbed off with lies about delivery dates which never happened, and when they did finally deliver sometjing on 7th April they only delivered 2 items but did not give me a delivery note or any proof of what was delivered.
I asked for confirmation from them of what was outstanding and nothing.
I have now asked for a refund so we will see - it makes me so angry that I am having to deal with this sort of nonsense at a time like this - AVOID THIS COMPANY !

Great communication during this terrible time. I did have to wait a little longer than usual but completely understandable during these times. Very lovely people doing their best at this time. Thanks also to the very friendly delivery driver.

Terrible service. We placed an order for over £123 on 20th March and have still not received anything except one email in reply to one of our 4 to them, asking us to give them one more day. Still nothing and no reply to our phone calls.

May take them to the Small Claims Court and put them out of business once and for all.

As most other comments. Ordered 1st of April. Now the 10th. Cannot phone them and they do not respond to Email and online chat is a joke. Fingers crossed that some of my order turns up but I won’t hold my breath
