Ordered on the 24th March... Still no delivery... Can't get to anyone for a refund.. Joke of a company

Promised delivery in 24-72 hours, finally arrived over 2 weeks later, however some shortfalls and delivered 2 x30g tobacco when paid for 2 x50g
6 emails and numerous phone calls later no response and no sign of about a £30 refund that is due

Have to laugh! Yes I know due to circumstances delayed but ..... placed order on 1st April. Sent 5/6 emails.... went on live chat nothing... Then this morning after asking for refund over 3weeks ago get told my delivery is on way. Delivery turns up. One item not in stock. One item correct. Bottle of wine ordered , not what I ordered. Absolute rubbish . AVOID!

All I wanted was communication. I understand it is an unprecedented time to be in business but they need to stop taking orders until they can cope with the demand or implement better systems. If they had simply replied to my message or answered the phone I would of been extremely patient. I had no choice in the end to report the transaction to my bank incase they were a fraudulent company. My bank sorted a refund within 24 hours.

We also meant to had our delivery three weeks ago. They partially delivered our order but did not bring goods worth of 55 pounds. We made countless attempts to contact them both by phone and e-mail but no response. We haven't even been able to get a refund.

Ordered a package of wine and cheese from this company for delivery with in 4-7 days. This has still not been delivered near 4 weeks later! I have emailed, called, and messaged privately on their Instagram. No reply for 3 weeks! I eventually posted on their Instagram page as I could see this was being updated daily. I had a reply to say they would get back to me by the end of the day, they didn’t, this was 2 days ago. There are so many people with the same issue that have messaged me separately. The customer service is beyond shocking. There is no communication what so ever and no care. It’s been very frustrating and disappointing. I will never order from Liqroo again.

Same as everyone else, ordered 3rd of April, no sign of order, no updates, tried using live chat & email but all to no avail. OK, so I'm paying cash on delivery but it would help if someone at liqroo had the decency to contact or update people as to what their status is. I understand these are difficult times at the moment but communication really helps!

Ordered on Friday, delivered following Thursday. Was concerned when I saw these reviews that I was going to be scammed but worked out fine and got everything I ordered.

Dreadful company, took my £58.00 over 5 weeks ago and many promises, no delivery. I understand these are difficult times but other companies are delivering although small delays. Took advice from their website re refund. Emailed got a response that I would be refunded and not unsurprisingly no refund after 12 days. Phone line useless and chat line big queues and big promises. Would not use and a typical scam deliver to a small minority and get a couple of good reviews. Pity I did not read if I could give less than one star it would be a big zero like my refund. Small claims next stop.

Appalling customer service. I understand that these are difficult times and was prepared to wait but 4 weeks after ordering I gave up. I had already spent hours queuing on their online chat, as emails all go unanswered. Reassured that order will be delivered by a certain date then nothing. Emailed cancelled order, as requested, and again heard nothing. 4 days later, no refund nothing - then I get a call saying your order is scheduled for today but we need to speak to you. Didn’t listen when I repeated that I had cancelled order. Now on hold again for online chat. 40 min, 20 of which at position 1. Avoid.

Thieves. Took money, delivered part of order then vanished. No reply to email, phone, Twitter and no delivery or refund.
Do not use.

Update to my original review ...

On Friday 24th April after commenting on several Liqroo Instagram posts about my negative experience, I received a frantic call from one of the (4) call centre employees asking why I was hating them on social media. I explained my situation and obvious frustration and was advised that the order would be delivered on the morning of Saturday 25th and it would be sent out in the early delivery slot from 8am. I waited all day Saturday and at around 8pm I rang the number that they had called me from. I was advised that they work 24 hours and therefore I could receive the order at any time. Sunday morning arrived and still no order. I eventually received a call from an abrupt, aggressive delivery driver around 2pm on Sunday 26th advising that he was 5 minutes away and that due to company rules I would have to meet him outside my building. Not ideal for me as I’m shielding due to being in the high risk category. I met him outside (against my better judgement), he maintained social distance and was wearing a mask. Face to face he wasn’t abrupt or aggressive like he was on the phone and claimed that Liqroo were in “a complete mess” (his words, not mine. Although I’d definitely agree).

I definitely would NOT use this company again and wouldn’t recommend using it. It’s a great idea however the staff need basic customer service training, they need a better warehouse/internet inventory system and a decent operations manager to get them on track.

I ordered the following from them on 31st March 2020:

2 x Dettol Antibacterial Handwash
4 x Essential Waitrose Dry Indian Tonic Water
1 x 70cl City of London Old Tom Gin
2 x 70cl Portobello Rd Gin
2 x 1L Gordons Gin

total cost £133.75

A warehouse worker rang on 9th April to advise that they didn't have any 1L Gordons gin so would send 2 x 70cl bottles and a bottle of Prosecco to make up for the price difference (fair enough). On 10th April I received 1 x 70cl Gordons Gin and 1 x 75cl I Heart Prosecco. On Saturday 11th April I received a refund of £4.76 into my bank account which I assume is for the antibacterial handwash as the had advised on the call there wasn't any in stock. Since this date I have sent 7 emails, I have left 4 voicemails to which I have not yet had a response. I have a message feed with them on Facebook Messenger with 18 messages from me (interestingly the easiest way to get a response) - they have only responded to my first message thread and have seen but ignored every message since (10 messages). I am now out of pocket by £112 - This gin order was my treat to myself after I was made redundant. now I don't have the gin and I I'm still waiting for the money. I doubt I'll see either.

Order never arrived, no response on phone or email from the beginning. PayPal are refunding me. They’re just taking the money of people and delivering nothing. Only one star as that’s the least I could post.

I have just been authorised a refund from Paypal as I had the good sense to use them for my "purchase" which was placed on 27th March. No delivery just total bull from start to finish.
BE WARNED this is scam.
If in doubt don't wait for your order not to be delivered but contact your payment provider as that's the only way to get your money back.

I was very worried about my order after reading all the other reviews here. But I ordered on the 17th and had everything delivered yesterday ( 21st). They phoned me on the 20th to check if they could substitute one ale for another. They have been courteous and efficient!

Totally agree with it with all the reviews on this website about their delivery service they are a rip-off.I ordered three boxes two boxes turned up I’ve emailed and phoned them I’ve got nothing back from the last four weeks do not use this site they will rip you off.

Ordered 27/3. Got an email saying would arrive by Tuesday (31/3). I emailed 2nd and 5th asking just for an update on the delivery date. No reply. Emailed 8th asking for anrefund, reply on 9th said they would refund (via PayPal so should be fairly easy!) Chased 14th as nothing triggered via PayPal. Opened case with PayPal 16th. Still no further reply from them and they've not responded to the case either. As it stands they've had my cash for 3.5 weeks in total and 12 days after they agreed to refund! They cited Covid, but I've had many deliveries and cancellations from 9ther companies so I'm inclined to agree they are not an honest operation.
EDIT. He's called me agreeing a refund, then didn't. He then emailed saying the reason the goods haven't shipped is that PayPal kept the funds! I've spoken to PayPal and they advised they do not hold funds, so this is untrue. I've finally got a refund via PayPal dispute a month later.

Surprisingly they delivered half of my order but since then they have clammed up. Got the run around for a while and now I'm totally ignored. Avoid these crooks.
