Arrogant, incompetent and arguably dishonest
I cannot believe that this pack of shysters only received 97% bad reviews. I am an occasional user and have previously tolerated (to some extent) the exorbitant prices, the interminable traffic jams, the appalling incompetence (and lack of infrastructure) in clearing up relatively minor traffic accidents and, from an administrative perspective, idiotic computer software and unhelpful and arrogant people on customer service.
Disputing a charge, I contacted customer service, which was as useful as talking to a brick wall. I then sent an email documenting the issue and this was totally ignored, but followed by a barrage of threatening emails from Linkt. I sent another email and this was not replied to, but the unpaid invoice was "escalated" to Transurban (it would be hilarious if not so irritating). A third email, this time to Transurban, was also ignored but a further email from them "escalated" the matter once again. There is more to this story, and I am preparing to take the matter to consumer affairs, purely as a matter of principle.

It was extremely difficult to make a payment through the provided link for our recent travel. Despite trying multiple times, the process was frustrating and unclear. Later, we were shocked to receive a huge bill without proper explanation. This has been a very disappointing experience overall.
What a terrible experience
What a terrible experience. Paid $1 for 30 day pass and promptly received an email saying the payment had failed. Phoned Linkt and spoke to a female standover merchant who constantly talked over me and simply would not accept that there was nothing wrong with the card used and the bank had not blocked the card. The fault was therefore in the Linkt system. After the call I received another email saying my account had been suspended.
Phoned again and spoke to another ‘talk over’ merchant. Trying to actually pay the toll was like getting blood from a stone. Finally she agreed that I could pay the toll and then took the card payment.
I would rather battle peak hour traffic in town than use a Linkt toll road again.

Terrible. Got an email for a toll invoice stating my car was on the road at the same time my car was parked on the curb at my house after the engine exploded. I had also recently been a part of a scam involving 'Linkt' so I was cautious. When I disputed it I was asked to send pictures of my car so they could try and match it. Even after giving my full registration and personal details to the Linkt representative. After being chased by collections house for not paying even after writing emails stating my situation, I paid the fine just to make them all go away.
Scam
Scam. Avoid tolls in Queensland at all costs. We keep paying our tolls on my credit card and then still receiving invoices for the same toll with admin and video matching fees on top despite paying the tolls immediately.

Linkt is a disgrace to the otherwise great city of Brisbane. It's hard to understand how the system allows a company to manage such vital infrastructure in such a poor manner. The website is extremely user-unfriendly, the charges are excessive, and the overall experience feels exploitative. It’s difficult not to see this system as anything but a scam. How is this allowed to continue?

Linkt is the result of government corruption and greed. They prey on everyday Australians and make money via absurd administration fees. You can't contact their support either; they just cut you off.

Scammers?
I literally have no idea who this company is and/or why they keep emailing me. I hired a car in Australia through Budget and these guys have emailed me about some sort of online account. It looks dodgy and asked me to register and then sent me round and round in circles with User Names and Passwords. Seeing their horrible rating here I can only assume its a scam so I have deleted everything and wont be attempting to access the "account" that they have apparently set up for me. If it is a proper business rather than a scam then they are doing a HORRIBLE job of customer experience
Sub standard service
In september returned my tag.
Received acknowledgment from linkt mid September.
Web site states balance of money in account will be returned in 21 days.
One month later no refund.
Telephoned to be told account not closed, would be and refund in 21 days.
Another month later, no refund, telephoned to be told again ,account not closed but would be and refund in 21 days.
A further month later, no refund, once again telephoned to be told account not closed, would be and refund in 21 days.
Finally lodged complaint thru ombudsman,third week December linkt complaints section rang,
Has confirmed account closed on 6th December.
Refund to be actioned 21 days from account closure on 6 Th December.
This is what happens when you have a monopoly,thank you NSW Liberal Party.

they will hit you up for a "video matching" fee and then expect you to not check your statements, giving them extra money as u pass thru a toll even with your tag displayed.
Have had my tag replaced many times but still it does not "get read" in full view on the windscreen at toll points.
THIS COMPANY PREYS ON CUSTOMERS knowing statements never get checked.
Please check your statements at least every 3 months as they will not refund any further back than that.

Without fail, their website ALWAYS says "unable to find vehicle" when you search for your numberplate in the days after going through tolls. Be prepared to WASTE hours of your time trying!!! THEN they will invoice you with an extra "administration" charge WHEN THERE WAS LITERALLY NO WAY TO PAY THE ORIGINAL TOLL. This company are STRAIGHT UP CRIMINALS and should be treated as such. I honestly DO NOT understand how they haven't been shut down by the ACCC. Most untrustworthy business in this country!!!

Terrible. Kept calling me a different name even though I had corrected him multiple times. Talked around in circles repeating the same things I had already just told him myself, as if he was telling me brand new information. Then would ask me a question of which the answer he just stated himself 🤦♀️ Made this a very long and tedious call even though it was a very easy matter to resolve and I was clear from the beginning why I was calling and what exactly I needed him to do.

There is something rotten in the State of links.com ! I tried to pay a $2 toll on line but there is no where to pay using my cars plate number!! (But Started receiving text message to pay tolls on mobile numbers every day after this.) When the bill arrived it came to over $12 with fees...mark up of over 120 percent. Links do not want motorists to pay on line so a mark up can be added to the cost....!
