Lings - Triumph Essex Anmeldelser 

Just purchased my first bike from Lings Triumph Essex, Fraser and the team were faultless with their knowledge and commitment to find me something to get started on my two wheeled weekend rocket.
I would highly recommend seeing these guys

Friendly, knowledgable sales staff, Bailey allowed me a decent time on the test ride.
A bit disappointed with the PDI, a few things were overlooked

Disappointing is an understatement!
I expected more much more from a triumph main dealer !
Bike delivered (nice chap) in a right state ! The bike was filthy and it took me 3hrs to put it right ! The spokes on both wheels are tarnished badly! For a 12 month old bike that's beyond bad .
Spoke to Bailey frost-smith and obviously he apologized saying send photos (which I have) and they will get it sorted .
A week later and nothing !!
There are many negative views on certain social media platforms you would think they would have got there act together by now !
I haven't finished with them WILL get sorted even if I have to go direct to triumph!! 😤

Customer service was brilliant

Fraser was a great person to deal with, explaining the process clearly and comprehensively throughout, the handover of my trade in and pick up of my new bike was smooth and he explained the new features on it very clearly, I would be happy to recommend Lings Dunmow to my friends and colleagues especially Fraser

Great people at this dealership, called late for an mot for my Harley that had only done 6 miles in the last 15 months!! Spoke with Serina who magically managed to squeeze me in today, sat outside in the sun with a complimentary cuppa chatting with others visiting the shop. Bike passed, happy chappy. Thank you Lings and especially Serina.

The whole team was highly professional and friendly. A surprise birthday bike collection was arranged with Bailey's incredible support. The day was fantastic.

Took the bike for a seat replacement, they cut corners and scratched the paint on the fuel tank by NOT unscrewing the tank prior to removing the seat.
An issue that has been reviewed in various YouTube maintenance videos!
One would think that a professional mechanic would know that!

22/08/2024 - Still waiting for a solution! Lots of promises but no action. Tired of emailing and talking by phone, may raise the issue with Triumph.

I went there to see and potentially buy one of the second hand bikes. I have made a phone call in the morning to ask if the bike is ready. Apparently yes...
Unfortunately the battery was completely flat so I was not able to test the bike.
Staff members are polite and helpful. It is a shame I travelled a bit to only see how it looks.
Overall positive experience.

As usual everything ran smoothly. From having a new set of tyres to having a service nothing is to much trouble.Had a courtesy bike again with this service as I like to try different machines. I enjoy the free coffee and the locker section to leave some of my kit. Very knowledgeable staff , who are as enthusiastic as us customers are.

Old style customer service with a modern slant.

I arrived unannounced at 8am on a Friday with a near dead Triumph Tiger 1200. I was on a holiday road trip and desperately needed help to continue. Scott and the whole team could not have made the experience any better. No fuss, no stress. They whisked the bike into the workshop and 3 hours later, SORTED.

When I buy another Triumph, it will be at Great Dunmow with Lings Triumph. They are 200 miles from my home but that would not stop me buying from this dealership.
