Not really impressed with the handover takeover of my new bike. The salesman didn’t appear to know very much about the technical aspect of the Bike, including what accessories the Bike had.

I dealt with Christian who was so helpful and i never thought for one minute that I would be buying a new motorcycle from 260 miles away without seeing it but from enquiring about the bike to receiving it was 2 days. I am thrilled with the bike and the service I received from Lings and also I would like to thank the driver who delivered the bike as he was a star, thanks all at lings from Jeff Manning

Purchased a Triumph speed twin on the…
Purchased a Triumph speed twin on the 18 April. Christian from start to finish was very helpful. Made the process easy. Contacted a few later as there was an issue with the display not holding the dates and the service light keeps coming on when it shouldnt. Contacted Cristian a few times he always got back to me straight away and said his manager would contact me to sort the issue out. I live 2.5h away so i cant pop in. Still waiting and still being told i will be contacted. Dissapointed with lack of customer care. Wont recommend or be back.

Johnathan at Dunmow was extremely helpful and patient whilst accommodating my indecisions about going for a new bike or one a few months old. He allowed me a test ride and then went out of his way to organise the delivery of the bike I chose from Norwich in double quick time. I was able to collect it a couple of days later and am very pleased with it.

5 star customer service from Jonathan and his team, special thanks to Christian Clark for his above and beyond customer service, back in March I decided I wanted a Triumph Tiger rally pro, I shortlisted it was the 1200 I was after and after offering Triumph Oxford a very reasonable offer for a 2024 1200 that was declined I contacted Lings and after some negotiations they sold me a 2024 1200 Rally Pro Explorer which is quite the machine! I flew into Stansded airport where I was picked up and chauffeured to the Lings Triumph Essex dealership, 5 star customer service - well done Lings!!!

Excellent experience despite teething problems
Buying a used motorbike was a very smooth easy process, however the broke down the day after due to a faulty fuel gauge, hence losing a star. However, Christian and the delivery team collected and diagnosed the problem on the same day and everything was sorted under the three month warranty. Absolutely love the bike and is running like a beauty now.

Very professional outfit run by proper motorcyclists made it a very easy & pleasant experience. Christian the guy I was dealing with was incredibly knowledgeable & ensured my bike was ready on time & sent me a video of my bike all prepared complete with extras U specified fitted which was a nice touch.

I know Alex at Essex has only been there a short time but I was very impressed with his knowledge of the bikes and was very helpful.
Delivery of the bike was on time and everything was explained. The satnav was a nice touch.

5-Star Service and Great Motorcycles
At the time of review, Lings are rated at 4.8. 4.8? Not 5 stars, what's going on!? I frequent the Ling's Triumph in Great Dunmow and I cannot find anything to justify taking two stars off. The ladies in the Service/Parts and Sales departments are thoroughly charming and male staff friendly and informative. The stock is predominantly Triumph (of course) but there is also a variety of bikes of other makes in the second-hand section of the store. The service package is not cheap but paying for servicing in instalments makes it a lot less painful. Waiting in-store for a service is no hardship either with plenty of free coffee, chatting to the staff and loads of beautiful machines to ogle while you wait. All-in-all, they get a 5 from me!

Happy with the purchase but very disappointed that it has no owners manual. I have had no luck downloading one as instructed and I'm still waiting for a manual. Otherwise a good service, so far!
