Replacement experience

Have purchased many Lelo products over the years and they are of premium quality and durable with long warranties. I recently had my first problem with a product and customer service was excellent, getting back to almost instantly. Product was under warranty and had my brand new replacement within a week. It’s worth paying that little extra for the quality and service you receive.

My wife passed away in March of 2024

My wife passed away in March of 2024. She was my Soul Mate. We were married for 22 years. I miss my wife's touch. So I purchased a SILA™ Aqua product. I always thought such products were just inappropriate, period ! I was wrong. Psychologically, I am not ready to move on, but, this product has helped when I ache for her touch. It is not a replacement for her loving touch, but, my memories and this product. Really do go hand in hand for the moment. Natalie.

Promised gift not sent, company won’t honor promise

Ordered a toy and got a notice “buy another item and get a free gift”. I ordered two, screen showed free gift. Ordered arrived with no gift. I contacted customer service many times over this. Answers I got were, “some people would rather buy the item locally then get it free”, “I had to pick a color so Lelo thought I opted out”, last they said “if you buy another item we will give you a free gift.
Terrible company, the quality is not worth the aggravation if you have an issue. Buy elsewhere.

To clarify, if your order total passes the free gift threshold, you receive a notice asking you if you would like to add the gift to your cart (and to select the color). Since such items are also available for purchase on our website or with retailers, some customers already have these items and as such opt out of receiving them. Due to this, the gift is not added to your cart automatically.

Did not fulfill offer advertised on…

**updated from 2 to 4** following this below review I was contacted by customer service who offered me a code for different free gift product since the one advertised during my purchase was apparently not available in my region. Appreciate the customer service resolving the issue (though I was required to purchase something else of lower value to apply the gift code to) however did not like being told it was “my fault there was no gift sent because I didn’t add it to basket before order and so had “opted out” of the gift” by one of the customer care agents. This turned out to be untrue as confirmed by another agent when I couldn’t find the free gift when searching for it with the second purchase - it was not available in my region. Seems the website is a bit clunky and maybe unless you have an account set up does not show regionally accurate offers. In any case after the followup purchase I could apply a voucher sent by customer care to receive a free travel toy of similar value to the one advertised. Giving 4* due to extra effort and time required to resolve it but still apparent high quality of products / fast shipping. Suggestion: pay attention if purchasing with an offer and if no gift code as in my case then contact customer service before purchase.

Giving 2 stars as shipment was fast and what did arrive seems premium but still also then way overpriced having not actually fulfilled the advertised offer

Considering the cost and media reviews…

Considering the cost and media reviews of this brand - you expect 100% results. I got the Sona Cruise 2 and Gigi 2. Neither have hit the top spot despite many attempts at trying.

On the plus side the feeling of them is luxurious and the Gigi is lovely to insert. It does feel like a massage, but that is it. No thrusting or stimulating.

Of course EVERY woman is DIFFERENT, we are not men who tend to all be alike! So some women may achieve orgasm with their products but it was a no no for me which is disappointing considering the price.

Worrying Lack of Concern for Customer Safety

I reached out to LELO after experiencing physical harm from using one of their products – injuries to sensitive tissue that occurred repeatedly, despite normal, recommended use. This is not a case of dissatisfaction or defect – this is about a product that caused actual harm.

What I received in return was a carefully worded but ultimately evasive series of customer service replies. The entire exchange focused on whether I qualified for a replacement in a certain price range or could use a discount code. Not once was there any meaningful acknowledgment of the seriousness of the issue – no sign that it would be investigated, flagged internally, or escalated.

It’s extremely concerning that a company would treat a matter involving physical harm as a customer service formality. At no point was there a sense of responsibility or care about the potential safety risk their product poses. Their response felt transactional, detached, and completely inadequate given the nature of the complaint.

For a company that positions itself as a premium, body-safe brand, this kind of indifference to reported injuries is not just disappointing – it's alarming. I expected accountability. Instead, I was met with a script.

I will not be purchasing from LELO again, and I sincerely urge others to consider how this company responds when something goes seriously wrong.

Edit: Since I posted this review, the dialogue between me and the company briefly resumed at their initiative. Even then, despite their response below, they failed to address or take the complaint seriously, or to handle it in a fair and responsible manner. They appeared too blinded by their unwavering belief in how absolutely fabulous and flawless they are. It is unfortunate when companies choose to act this way.

Ich habe vier Produkte von LELO getestet – bei allen hat sich nach kurzer Zeit das Material (Gummi) aufgelöst oder die Motoren sind defekt gewesen. Besonders ärgerlich: Die Geräte werden mit der Zeit extrem laut und unangenehm in der Anwendung. Der Kundenservice ist träge, der Umtausch nervenaufreibend, und eine Rückerstattung bekommt man nicht. Für die hohen Preise absolut enttäuschend. Ich kann die Marke nicht empfehlen.

He tenido 3 Lelos, de los cuales 2 ya están rotos. Se venden como si fueran de lujo y son descartables realmente. La "garantía" es un chiste, apenas un 50% de descuento para volver a comprar otro y no válido con otras promociones, por lo que no llega a ser ni un 25% de descuento realmente. Tienen un problema con la visualización de la batería, por lo que siempre vas a terminar quedandote sin en el peor momento. Muy decepcionada con Lelo, realmente esperaba que sea una buena marca, pero por el precio no lo vale.

Azienda poco seria con politiche di reso e rimborso ridicole

Non vogliono mai fare un rimborso, ma solo sostituzioni con la scusa che è il pacco è “stato aperto anche se non usato”.

Ma in questo caso, il prodotto non era difettoso e basta, ma tutto il modello, con un raggio d’azione assolutamente ridicolo e si disconnette subito.

Quindi era inutile insistere su una sostituzione.

Inoltre, non rispondono mai alle email di garanzia

So it was useless to insist on a replacement.

If the device is faulty, then it's covered by the warranty for a free replacement with a brand new one. A refund is possible when the box hasn't been opened within 14 days upon delivery, and it was purchased directly on our website.

I had an issue with a delivery that dragged on for about four weeks due to the carrier being unable to reach me—despite having both my email and phone number.
Thankfully, Lelo’s Customer Care stepped in and acted as an incredible intermediary throughout the whole process. They communicated consistently with both the carrier and me, making sure nothing fell through the cracks. Every response from their team was prompt, kind, detailed, calm, and genuinely caring. I was really impressed by how professionally and thoughtfully they handled everything.
All good things to say about Lelo Customer Care—truly appreciated!

Honteux

Honteux ! Je fais une demande de garantie pour mon produit qui a un souci, on me pose une tonne de questions auxquelles il faut répondre et pas moins de 3 photos/video à envoyer pour prouver que le produit a un problème. Après avoir tout envoyé on me dit que c’est ok mais que pour valider la garantie définitivement il faut que je détruise le produit (soit disant à cause d’une pile à l’intérieur) puis il faut leur envoyer une photo de l’appareil détruit (appareil qui avait un problème mais qui s’allumait encore). Je le fais naïvement et là on me dit que c’est bon, que la garantie est validée et que je vais recevoir un code promo de -50% pour en acheter un nouveau. Je pense à une blague car à aucun moment on m’a dit que la garantie à laquelle j’avais le droit était seulement un code promo de 50% pour racheter sur leur site !!! Résultat : on m’a demandé de détruire un produit qui s’allumait encore pour être bien sûr qu’il soit hors d’usage et pour m’obliger à racheter sur leur site avec un pauvre code promo de 50% !!!! Sans parler des frais de port à 10€ !!!! Pour une marque qui se veut haut de gamme c’est une aberration ! Je suis hors de moi et j’ai l’impression d’avoir été complètement trompée de A à Z. Si j’avais été au courant de leur garantie pourrie, j’aurais pu faire un choix libre et éclairé de détruire ou non le produit et j’aurais éventuellement pu leur demander une réparation. Non là je me suis sentie piégée et manipulée !
Pour moi cette marque c’est TERMINÉ ! Plus jamais !

Excellent customer service and warranty

I've had a LELO product for two years (and have been very happy with it) and it suddenly stopped working. I was surprised to find out that LELO stands behind their products with a manufacturing warranty for 10 years! During the first year, the warranty provides a full replacement, and during the subsequent 10 years, the warranty provides 50% off of a replacement, which I had ordered anyway. How many companies do that? Hardly any! And working with their customer service, specifically Lana and Nina, was a breeze. They gave clear instructions and responded quickly to every email. I'm very satisfied with the entire experience.

Do not buy from this company

Do not buy from this company!

I bought my wife a one of these products as a gift, and once I received the item opened it to find the item was broken! I contacted them the very next day and was told there is nothing they can do as I opened it (how are we supposed to know an item is broken without opening the pack) I went back and forth with them for days even opened a case with Klarna and they are still refusing to give me a refund on the item that they sent to me broken.

I now have to pay full price for an item that is not working and will have to just be chucked away.

Stay away from this company.
