I already have a pair of Le Chameau wellies which I love, so ordered the chelsea boots. Lightweight and comfortable, I've worn them all day today in the garden - arrived and delivered as expected.

Received used muddy boots
Received muddy boots. Contacted customer service multiple times. Not only was no resolution provided, I never received a single response despite multiple emails over the course of over a month. Extremely disappointing.

FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM LE CHAMEAU UK!
My much loved leather lined wellington boots had a zip pull failure and I had resorted to carrying a pair of pliers with me to open and close.
On mentioning it to a staff member at The Game Fair, he told me the zip pull was designed to fail, in order to safeguard the actual zip from terminal damage. He suggested talking to Customer Services at Le C UK.
I did so and they promised to send out a replacement Pull kit. After 2 weeks I contacted them as it hadn't arrived. They confirmed despatch and concluded lost in the post. They immediately despatched another pair of kits, which arrived 2 days later and free of charge.
I'm very happy that such levels of customer service are still to be found and wish to express my sincere thanks to this excellent company.

Not what they were
I had a pair of le chameau leather line boots for many years and loved them. They were mistakenly thrown out during a house clearance. I bought a new pair in March of 2021 which developed a leak while under warranty - a split in one heel - and a replacement pair was supplied. The replacement pair now leak - a gusset split on the left boot, the sole split on the right -and are outside of the warranty period of the original boot. I still wear them as they are so comfortable - just not in wet conditions. One pair may be looked over as faulty - to then get a second pair with different faults is something else. . . . . I shall look for a different manufacturer.

This is something we do not deviate from in regards to our policy as it helps maintain a fair system for all customers, direct or via a retailer.
