Really pleased with my Le Chameau boots – excellent quality and very comfortable from the first wear. You can tell they’re beautifully made and built to last. Ordering was simple and delivery was very quick. Great service all round – highly recommend.

I ordered a pair of Ladies Vierzon boots mid January. They arrived & all was good. However it became obvious that there was a very small leak in the right boot. I contacted customer service who asked for some photos to which I happily obliged. The lady I spoke to - Michelle Y- was incredibly helpful & offered to replace the leaking pair. I decided to go for the thermal pair - Vierzenord Neoprene - so a refund for the first pair was issued & I purchased the new pair with a 20% kind gesture discount & they were delivered the next day with a surprise small gift of some socks. Michelle also arranged collection of the leaking pair. I am delighted to say the boots are being worn, are comfy, warm & stylish & I can’t fault the service I received at all. Well worth the money & customer service I received was outstanding so thank you guys x

Really happy with Zoe from customer service department. Unfortunately there was an issue with my Boots although still in warranty period so I've emailed customer service to resolve it. Zoe was very responsive, always replying within an hour of contacting. She was very professional, helpful and informative. The issue got resolved quickly and without a fuss. Very happy with the experience.

Cleaned both pairs of Wellington’s at the end of the season. Used the rubber spray you supplied both pairs look like new. The oldest pair is at least 25 years old my newest is about 11 years old.

I am absolutely shocked at the helplessness of this company and the highly shocking quality of their products. After just 8 months of having my boots they had teared up the side on the ankle. I tried to go through the warranty and got denied as they claimed this was “general wear and tear of the boots.” I find this absolutely disgusting that a £200 pair of boots can be destroyed within 8 months and the company see this as no fault of their products and will take no responsibility whatsoever. Don’t bother buying their overpriced low quality boots. Absolutely disgusted in their customer service and products.

From placing my order for a pair of wellington boots I have been pleased with the speedy delivery and the quality of the boots. I have worn the boots on numerous occasions and found them very comfortable and the neoprene lining keeps my feet lovely and warm. Definitely well worth the money.

I bought a new pair of Le Chameau camo wellies. Didn't use them much, they have had a very cosseted life and been well looked after and used lightly. They now leak quite a bit on the left foot and a little on the right. This the third pair I've bought from Le Chameau and they have all leaked. I will never have any more from this company, they are clearly not fit for purpose. They are also difficult to put on as the rubber legs are so soft and pliable, and if you have a bad back like me, they catch and bend whilst putting them on. Wellies used to be tough but now you're paying to walk around with a brand name and wet feet!
Probably made in China and inferior. Seems all the expensive wellies are made in Asia, and our family have had leaking problems with Barbour and Aigle. Don't waste your money, I had a pair of Dunlop cheap wellies and they lasted for years. I don't like leaving a negative review but this is deserved, the build quality is nowhere near where it should be for the prices they are charging. Expensive wellies should last a lot longer than these, they are supposed to be tough for an outdoor environment and keep water out!

If I could give no stars i would. We have purchased this brand of boots before and had no problem with the quality of the boots. However my advice would be NOT to buy direct from the company as their returns policy is a con. We bought two different size of boots, tried them on in the house as per their instructions, chose the size that fits and returned the 2nd pair in new condition with the label attached.
However the boots were back on our doorstep a few days later stating they could not accept the returns with no reason stated. After several emails they showed a picture which showed mud on the sole. This was definitely not our boots. We were allowed to return them a 2nd time having disputed this, but again 2 days later the boots were returned to us with the original return label and this time the boot label had been ripped off the boots and stuck In the box. I assume this was done as it was part of their policy that only returns would be accepted with the labels attached. Very sneaky.
We are now going through our credit card company to resolve this dispute.
My advice would be not to buy direct from the company as their returns policy is not anything like the promise they state. You will be out of pocket.
Good boots However I will not be purchasing them ever again. Be warned.

Excellent on line customer service. It feels very personal. Issue are quickly understood and, in my case, two solutions were offered.

One zip pull on my Chameau’s broke. I emailed Le Chameau and had a very swift response from Zoe. Albeit the boots were out of warranty Zoe still very kindly supplied 2 zip pulls. Brilliant service from a great company.

I purchased a pair of Le Chameau neoprene wellington boots in December 2023 for over £170. They have only been used for light dog walking when conditions were too wet for my regular boots.

Unfortunately, the sole of the right boot has now split in multiple places and is letting in water. This is clearly shown in the photos I provided. Given the very limited and careful use, this level of failure is extremely disappointing and not what I would expect from a premium brand.

I initially contacted the retailer in December but was told they could not help, as the two-year warranty had expired by less than two weeks while I was away on holiday. I then contacted Le Chameau directly, sent multiple photos, and was told this was considered accidental damage and that no replacement would be offered.

I find this very disappointing. I am extremely careful with my footwear — my previous pair of wellies lasted around 10 years — so to have such significant sole splitting after such light use strongly suggests a durability or material issue rather than misuse.

At this price point, I would expect far better longevity and customer support. It’s particularly disappointing as I genuinely loved these boots and would previously have recommended Le Chameau without hesitation.

I hope Le Chameau will reconsider this decision, as this experience has seriously affected my confidence in the brand.

Best wellies ever. I have wider feet and these fit perfectly, ideal for my 2 hours a day dog walking. they seem expensive but I was paying £50 every few months for corn treatments so in fact I am saving money! Maybe not necessary for just using once or twice but for regular use they are transformative.

Love my boots…. had to return the first order and size up but they were so helpful and very efficient. I’m delighted with them. Thank you.

Bonjour, j'ai acheté des bottes grand froid il y a plus de 15 ans. J'en suis super content. J'ai malheureusement cassé le système en plastique pour serrer la botte en claquant la portière dessus. Merci à "Le Chameau" de m'avoir fourni les pièces gracieusement pour pouvoir faire la réparation . Un grand merci, en achetant cette marque, c'est aussi un service que l'on paie. Awful experience. The boots had to be returned 5 times. Eventually they declined to replace - probably says it all.
How can you charge that much for Wellington Boots that leak?!
Happy to use the refund on boots from elsewhere.
I got a response from Le Chameau: they suggested glue (which, by the way, I tried, unsuccessfully) - on a £400 plus pair of boots just over a year old - nice response.

I purchased a pair of Explore 7" boots around 25 months ago, and they have been the most comfortable walking boots I’ve ever owned. In fact, my wellington-style boots haven’t been used for the past two winters because these have been so good.

They are mainly used for dog walking on relatively flat ground and across fields during the winter months and have performed exceptionally well.
