What has happened to Kenco Rich instant coffee? Yuk!
Price hike to £8.35, sneaky reduction in size from 200g to 190g, bitter taste, coffee granules don't dissolve, and there's a dark sludge at the bottom of the cup. Been drinking Kenco for many years but I can't put up with this. Need to look for a new brand.

What have you done Kenco?!? Smooth was our go to coffee for sooooo many years. And now it is vile. It doesn’t taste smooth, it doesn’t look smooth and it certainly isn’t smooth with a scum on the top and residue in the bottom. There’s a reason I don’t drink filter coffee and that is because it makes me unwell. We will no longer be buying your product after years and years of being an only Kenco customer. Poor poor decision. And not only have you downgraded your product by adding the rubbish end of filter coffee, you have made it smaller and more expensive. Bye Kenco. Another customer bites the dust.

We used to drink Gold Blend until Nestle changed their recipe adding grounds, I then switched to Kenco but now they have ruined their recipe, it's gone from the best freeze dried to some of the worst. Aldi and Lidl sell very good freeze dried Columbian coffee and this is what we will be drinking from now on. I don't think we will even finish this jar of Kenco it's that bad.

Not only have they changed the jar but also the coffee, been using Kenco Rich for years but it's awful now, doesn't desolve properly & has a gritty taste, won't buy anymore...

Go back to original recipe until then I'll be drinking nescafe gold blend.

Kenco have changed their blend on the Kenco Ritch coffee and it’s terrible now.
I have been buying the brand for years because it was so nice but now I cannot drink it as it’s so bad

TERRIBLE! this is my favorite coffee..Kenco Blue....and OMG this is unacceptable. It tastes like the dregs of a filter bag with all the bits in the bottom of the cup. PLEASE revert!!

I have been a kenco coffee drinker for years the only coffee I would drink . Since the change in recipe its vile tastes cheap and leaves a residue at the bottom of the cup . Last time I will be buying Kenco

Been buying the Rich blend when it's on offer as it's by far my favourite instant coffee. Today I eventually got around to trying the new look with a red top (very confusing). Firstly it doesn't fully dissolve leaves brown floaters, and it just doesn't taste nice. Why change it! Now I'm stuck with 4 jars of rubbish coffee, very unhappy.

Had to find out what happened to Smooth in the new smaller jars. It isn't just me who dislikes the watery, bitter sludgy new blend. Have a couple of jars to get through before looking for a better option. Been buying it for years but no longer.

Kenco Rich Blue CAP What has Kenco done!! I've been buying the rich blue cap for years and years now they've ruined it i will not be buying again.......

I am a strong black coffee lover and have bought Kenco Rich for years. The new recipe is horrid, foul tasting and leaves a sludge around the cup Why change something so good? Change it back to what the customers want. I will not be buying any more of the new blend.

I would have rated this product 5stars, as ive always drank it. But recently it has been disappointing. I hate the new taste. I have black froth on the top which doesn't dissolve. I shall bee looking for a new coffee brand.

I have to add my complaint to the list of all the others on here. The recent change is truly disgusting and the smell of the coffee is repellant. Why would anyone want to drink this sludge that smells so bad?
Coffee is meant to have a lovely aroma that makes one want to drink it not throw it in the bin. It’s another marketing spin to call it ‘new’, change the jar shape to hide the reduction in grams and increase price point.
Big corporates never change things for the better and with Kenco the so called addition of 10% roast and ground coffee is just a way of adding something worse that probably isn’t real coffee. Another way of ripping off the consumer. Kenco have lost another customer but not that that will matter to them.

Disgusting new mix and sludge at the bottom of the cup. I will find an alternative.

The new blend of coffee leaves a terrible residue at the bottom.of mug, unfortunately this is causing me after many, many years of only using kenco to seek another brand of coffee. 😔

What on earth have you done to the best instant coffee I’ve ever had, I have been using it for years and always enjoyed the rich flavour, but since you have changed the container and the label the coffee I used to enjoy is now nothing but horrible it’s tasteless and leaves sludge in the bottom of my cup and for the price of the new branded coffee it’s absolutely disgusting, I have been hunting around for the old container to get a decent cup of coffee, please please go back to the original coffee

I have drunk nothing but Kenco for years. It is now horrible and undrinkable, by me at least. I will not buy again unless Kenco admit their mistake and publicly state that the old recipe is returning.

Loved kenco blue for years and never used anything else. Now its changed, it tastes like dishwater. Sadly will be having to change brands. :(

Awful, awful coffee following "rebrand". Your marketing team clearly haven't experienced the new product. Grains don't dissolve, bitter tasting, sludge left at the end. Even the packaging was cheap compared to before. Will not buy it again while this is the result.
