How unpleasant Kenco coffee has become Bitter taste and a layer of scum in the cup Would have been better if you had decided to make the jars smaller than change the coffee. We understand that the cost of everything has put pressure on companies WRONG DECISION.

Well after my previous one star ⭐️ review. I was hoping that Kenco would get the message that the taste and consistency is totally unacceptable. I like others regular drank Kenco rich for decades. I can no longer cope with the new taste and Scummy consistency. So goodbye Kenco I’m now in search of a different coffee.

I absolutely agree with all the other recent complaints about the coffee. I have bought Kenco Rich for years, but I won’t be buying anymore. The new blend is disgusting! It’s bland, doesn’t dissolve, and like everyone else has said, the sludge in the bottom is awful. It seems to be happening with lots of different things at the moment. Why can’t these companies just leave things alone when they’re already onto a winner with a specific product.

It was bad enough bringing in the new jar with less in it, obvious but we’re all used to products getting smaller these days. The taste though has completely changed. It tastes “cheap”, doesn’t dissolve properly and is quite unpleasant. So annoying as this has been my morning cuppa for years and now I have to find something else that actually tastes like coffee. I won’t be buying again.

Hi, all is negative since the dreadful change of ingredients.

Come on Kenco, run an advert where we can all vote to return to the original recipe. I’m confident, NO BODY would vote to keep the change.

Absolutely undrinkable

I'm disgusted with Kenco. Coffee isnt cheap. It's been a proper exasperating run around trying to find Kenco cheap enough to keep consuming. Now, they give us less and 'top it up' with something less sumptuous. The new formula tastes weaker, dusty, and bitter compared to the original recipe. All to make a faster, bigger profit. I won't be buying it again 🤬

Omg this new blend is just awful

Kenco read the room ! along with thousands of others we are disgusted by the sludge you now brand as coffee.
Shrink I can understand, however, if it ain’t broke why fix it.
Do the sensible thing and rethink.

The new recipe does not taste nice and the residue left in the cup is very unappealing. I have used Kenco Rich for many years but I will now switch to another brand

I drink kenco millicano decaf coffee and have done for many years now. Today I've tried new powder instead of granules and can say its blooming horrible,I have alot of trouble trying to find a coffee I can drink everyday and this was the only one. I dont drink tea at all and can't drink caffeine at all. I now cannot drink this coffee its horrid.

I've nearly finished my last jar of the old recipe Smooth and I won't be buying more. The new recipe tastes bitter and smells burnt, and the gritty sludge it leaves at the bottom of the cup it gross.
After decades of drinking Kenco I'm looking for an alternative as it's now unbearable and I'm getting less for my money! Enshittification in action!

The kenco 8 sachets latte is awful. There is no taste and the froth is non existent. The coffee itself looks like mud. I will not buy this product again.

You have shrunk the size, but kept same price.
And what have you done to the coffee?
It tastes disgusting and leaves a black sludge at the bottom of the cup.
I for one will be buying a different coffee now after many years of being a loyal customer.

Wow, what a disaster class by this decision to change the recipe. My wife and I have bought literally 100s, possibly 1000s of jars over the years. But think we have bought our last. Recent recipe change has a weird powdery taste, weird oily black look when water added, the taste is awful followed by black sludge at bottom of the cup. What a way to close your business.

Really poor quality coffee. We have been a fan of Kenco for years but find the recent change in flavour truly awful. It is bitter and undrinkable... leaving deposits of a sludgy residue in the cup. We will no longer be purchasing this brand again.

Been buying Kenko coffee for years, not any more! Its new mix is repusive and we will be buying a different brand from now on! Whoever told Kenko to change their product after years of sucessful sales will watch sales of their product drop like a stone and should be sacked.

We don't like the new formula, so disappointed with the taste and the sludge it leaves round the rim and bottom of the cup/mug.
Beginning to look for a replacement after about 30 yrs

Having enjoyed Kenco Rich coffee for a long time was so disappointed with “new” jar. Coffee is tasteless, when you add the water it goes flat, leaves a black sludge in the cup. Comparing the ingredient listings, the old one was 100% roast and ground coffee, new one is 90% instant coffee, 10% roast and ground coffee. To make it worse a smaller jar of 190gms. We will be finding another coffee.

What have you done?! I could cope with the 10g reduction, we get it costs are rising, but you have ruined my kenco rich coffee. I've been a loyal customer for over 20 years. It's always been the best tasting instant coffee in my opinion but now tastes bitter and leaves a nasty taste in my mouth and a horrible sludge in the bottom. I'm truly disgusted by the change and as I usually buy multiple jars at once I'm particularly annoyed as I've got loads of it. I will not be buying it again unless you revert back to the old formula.

Reduced the jar size by 5%, changed the formula which now tastes burnt and leaves a gritty sludge in the bottom of your cup. My first change of Instant Coffe brand in 30 years. You clearly hate your customers.
