Over a certainly difficult selling process Sue Harper and her associates at this office (and on a regular interacting basis with Nick and Matt) provided a very professional and also personable service. Strong recommendation from me on driving forward for their client to seecompletion.
Not a very cohesive group - main problem is lack of communication. You have to keep chasing them unfortunately, and if don't...your request will receive no response. Poor service.
I have unfortunately contracted with JNP to manage one of my rental properties. I have never in my life seen a company that provided a worse service. So far in just this contracted year they have had to refund the management fee 3 times as it was blindingly obvious that they had not been doing the job I was paying them for. In both December 2022 and January 2023 they withheld money, for works done on the property, when in actual fact the works were completed on someone else's property. Every time I have had to contact them to get things put right. If this were the last property management company on earth I still wouldn't use them again.
I could write a very long review sharing with you the catalogue of incompetence we experienced as tenants in a property managed by JNP. However, I can summarise this & save you the agony of reading it all by saying this.
Avoid JNP like the plague if you are a tenant or a landlord.
All you need to know is that during our tenancy they showed an unprofessional bias towards our landlord. Even to the point that when it came to returning our deposit they supported him in his questionable claims to massive deductions against us.
We went through the arbitration process - still with JNP acting on behalf of the landlord and 5 months later we finally have all of what was rightly ours reimbursed to us.
I rented a flat with JNP for 13 months and at the end of my tenancy, they completely ignored my requests for the deposit to be returned. Due to the radio silence I have had to raise a dispute with My Deposit and I will be taking them to a small claims court if they do not respond. The inventory check out report came back with minor wear and tear, so I do not believe there is any reason to withhold a significant amount. Regardless of this, I should expect some minor communication about the reason for withholding.
Furthermore, I found it difficult to get major issues repaired in the house, such as a washing machine and oven and I was left 2 weeks without cooking facilities.
Best estate agent and property management company in the UK, I have never seen this kind of professional work and advice from JNP real estate in High Wycombe, saved my thousands of pounds, Excellent people and very knowledgeable staff, extremely pleased with them, I gave my all 82 properties to them for full management, 10/10*
Very poor communication, was told buyer had pulled out and was not notified until I had to chase it.
No commitment to sell, shocking Service no longer that local feel
Currently in dispute trying to get deposit back ,advise prospective tenants to photo and send in absolutely every tiny mark,limescale no matter how small or dirt however minimal or awkward to access at start of tenancy and have added to file because professional inventory company didn't fully show all of these things at start of tenancy and they will use very good photography to charge you at end of tenancy .JNP will try to get you to pay for professional cleaning even when it's not required .
I can back this review up with examples so it should not be censored.
They also tell me that if I don't agree to their costs it would take me at least 3 months to get it sorted and that landlord agreement for professional clean signed a couple of weeks before law changed still holds although I believe it was retrospectively made illegal in 2020.
I bought a house being sold through JNP, I had a few reservation about how the owners would leave the property, and so asked for things, such as them removing the sofa from the attic, prior to exchange. I was made to feel by JNP, on several occasions, like I was causing problems for these "lovely kind" sellers by delaying the sale. On the day of exchange, however, I moved into a home left in absolute filth, with dog poo in the garden, rubbish in the attic and damage to pretty much every wall in the house. I called Joshua at JNP to inform him (as he had told me on several occasions how lovely these sellers (Neil and Gale Joslin were), and I was told that he would send over my pictures to them and "sort something out". I heard nothing back for a month, until Joshua messaged to say that the sellers wanted a favour, of some post redirected. Obviously annoyed that I had no response before this, I asked what there response was to the photos, and I was told that JNP had no legal responsibility. I understand that they might not, but they have a moral one, so all I can warn is that if you are buying a property sold via JNP, don't trust anything your told by the estate agent.
We have bought a house through JnP (completing tomorrow!) and from start to finish they have been excellent. If anyone has the pleasure of working with Emma Cross there they are in very capable hands. We had a prolonged buying process (through various delays with solicitors and nothing to do with JnP) and I am in serious doubt this would have gone through without Emma's stewardship.
If and when we are looking to sell our house I wouldn't do it through any other estate agent than JnP. Anyone looking for a recommendation on who to list with should look no further.

Great if you are selling or buying a property. Will get all the boot licking possible.
Not quite so good if you are renting. Could do better with improving support for tenants even basic communication.
