The job was to replace a punctured tyre with a new tyre purchased. They took the new spare tyre and its rim and replaced them with an old, damaged rim and new tyre leaving the damaged tyre in the boot. So they took my undamaged spare wheel with an unused new tyre on it and left the damaged tyre in the boot. No offer of any compensation for my lost time and stress. I still find it hard to believe this happened, if you ignore my warning and have work done there, check it very carefully after!
Hi I had my daughter’s car serviced and replaced four tyres at Jax Tyers Biggera Waters. The service i received from Anthony the manager and Joe was great. The job was completed on time the recommendation on tyre brands and value for money helped me decide what tyres to purchase. The communication whilst the work was being done was great I would fully recommend these guys they made the process so easy and user friendly thanks again appreciate your service.

Theses guys rushed through a set of new tyres (special size) in 30 minutes, so I could pick up my daughter, then go get a pink slip. They really got me out of a jam, and were exceptionally kind about it

Went to Jax Tyres for a service went back home and inspected everything and found out that one of the bolts holding by break calliper on was missing and the other was just being held on by a few threads

5th February.
Needed a pink slip and two new tyres (redgo expired)
Rang and spoke to Steve about what I needed and the fact I had no prior booking etc. He was helpful, friendly and a good guy.
He said “we can help you, bring the car in and it will be sorted”. I took my car straight to the store and was helped again by Steve and Wally. They sorted what needed to be done and said the car will be ready in about an hour. Wow.
I went for a wander and went back and waited in the waiting room which was clean and so cool for the remainder of time.
The staff in the office where friendly and funny giving a feeling of a happy working environment.
The car was ready as I was told, fixed for what they quoted.
I was done and sorted in ~ 1 1/2 hours. You don’t get that sort of quality customer care anymore.
Thanks to all the staff especially Wally and Steve, you guys set the bar really high.

Got 4 new tyres and a wheel alignment done.
2 months later went to get a warrant and the guy asked if I’d recently had a wheel alignment done. When I said yes he told me that when the alignment was done they’d forgotten to do up the tie rod end nuts.
Went back to Jacks with photos to show them. Total denial and not interested. I would never use them again

I always try to be fair-minded when writing reviews, but my recent experience with JAX Tyres and Auto in Smithfield left me no choice but to share how disappointing and unprofessional their service was.
I took my car to them on Monday because it was shaking at 40 km/h. I specifically requested that they find out what the problem was and fix it. I also requested a wheel balance and alignment and asked them to do a test drive after completing the job to ensure everything was sorted.
After paying $179, I asked if they had checked the car thoroughly. The response? "If it's not good, bring it back."
When I picked up the car, the problem still existed. I returned the next day (Tuesday), only to be told to bring it back again on Friday because they were "too busy." When I asked why they had released the car the day before without ensuring the issue was resolved or doing a test drive, I was told they don’t do test drives because they "don’t have insurance." To make matters worse, the staff had the audacity to blame the issue on the fact that I brought in a second-hand car, as if that somehow excused their incompetence.
What’s even more frustrating is their complete disregard for the fact that people have busy schedules and can’t keep going back and forth to their shop. Not everyone has the time to deal with their careless and unprofessional approach to service. Once they’ve taken your money, you’re left chasing them to fix the problems they didn’t resolve in the first place.
This business is incredibly disappointing for anyone expecting professional service. They ignore customer concerns, take shortcuts, and fail to take responsibility for their work. It’s clear that customer satisfaction and safety are not priorities for them.

Reluctantly, I went to Jax at Heatherbrae for the first time today (reluctant due to having very poor experiences in my local Jax). Excellent, quick customer service. Very happy! The guy on the front desk (im sorry i camt remember his name) makes everyone feel so welcome when they come in, making everyone feel as though they are a long-lost friend and makes sure everyone has a smile on their face. He's very helpful and knows his stuff!

Sorry the date was the 4th December
I was asked for my email address and I tried my best to write it. Being dyslexic and having social shame, I was mortified when the receptionist said:
"What does that say?"
"Is that an E or the number 3"
"Do it again but in capitals this time!"
I went on to explain I was dyslexic and struggled.
To no avail!
Just pushed the paperwork back in front of me and said "well I don't want to get into trouble "
I wrote it again in capitals as best as I could but she wouldn't let up!
"What's that letter?"
I wished the ground had opened up and swallowed me!
No apologies
No saying sorry
No nothing.

Jaxs would have to be the worst company to be with if you have a problem they don't want to know that is your problem if you ring the state managers in nsw and Vic they never answer there phone if you lucky you might get a text if tell them you need help not interested you don't get any help at all eg advertising in your area it all about taking your money and hanging you out to dry very bad company
My wheels came back scratched and chipped after a tyre fitting. I had to call to let them know and they confirmed that they were damaged on the fitting machine. Seems like the tech just hoped nobody would notice. I'd be weary going here if you care about your wheels. Competitive pricing on tyres though.

Whatever they quote you is wrong with your car, get multiple other mechanics to look at it. Do not get bullied into leaving your car as it is not "safe to move it". Tow your car out if you need too.
Read the other reviews here and on Google about them overquoting the number of repiars needed and upselling. I wish I had.
3 months ago I went in with my car idling roughly. I was told I needed the top of the engine rebuilt urgently. I wanted to take my car home and think on the 3200 quote but was told that moving it would not be recommended. I was bullied.
During the week long process to repair my car RACQ called them about me needing a hire car. They told RACQ that the head gasket was being done. I immediately went in to confront them on this as I was not told it was a head gasket and my car had not displayed any signs of a head gasket. Had they said head gasket I would have taken my car home.
The car was in pieces so moving it to another repairer was not possible. Eventually I got the car after being left without 1 for an extra day as they didn't finish the work by the time they told RACQ they would.
I rang last week as a result of RACQ needing to come as my car had dropped all its water. RACQ told me to take it back to the repairer and get it pressure checked. I rang them and was told someone would call me back. Noone ever did.
A week later after my car had dropped the overfill bottle 3/4 of the way again I went in to be told I now needed a new radiator. I have had it repaired elsewhere now as I do not trust them.
To date my car is still not idling properly, over $3700 spent on repairs and it runs no better.
I have contacted the head office of Jax and they seen no problems with what happened.

Partner went to Tamworth Store for a rego check.
Was defected and told she need 3 new tyres.
I checked tyres they were all legal.
Went back to Tamworth Store and confronted salesman.
He relooked at tyres and said a mistake had been made.
They were relying on the lack of knowledge of a lady to scam her.
Have since heard they have done it to two other female customers who are friends of my partner.

I do not recommend this shop at all.
Jax narellan had put on a set of hankook tyres in Feb 2023, Dec 2023 I had to replace the two front ones. I was unable to get into narellan Jax store at the time and had gone else where. Today I returned to the my local bridgestone store who advised me thay had made a mistake in December 2023 and put on the incorrect tyres and put on 94v instead of 98v which is the minimum requirement for my car. They advised they will be replacing them no questions asked and at zero cost. This company owned the fact they should have checked the car plaque and not gone off they tyres they had taken off the car to replace and to contact the original company who firstly had put 4 incorrect tyres on.
When I got to narellan Jax store the counter staff was nice then when his manager (william) come over he advised " well you had driven roughly 40000km on the tyres and didn't realise so they did what they were meant to, even if it was not the right ones so will give a 30% discount on new ones" (which on the Jax website is the Jax life guarantee on tyres, zero compensation for the fact they had put the incorrect tyres on the car). I advised him in the first 10 months I had to replace the two front ones as they had worn badly on the inside.
He then advised me they can replace them but with 40000km worth of wear and tear on the ones they will put on when questioned why the other company was able to own their mistake and replace the wheels free of charge and why they were not able to do the same he advised because he didn't think it was fair!
I also advised him I don't think it is fair that I engage in tyre specialist and trust them to put the correct tyres, only to find out they failed to do that in my case.
He then looked at me and said "I will replace them but don't have any in stock will need to order them in for Monday but your not getting that brand, i will get you the cheapest lowest grade tyre available just to do it".
I was shocked and he made me feel as if I allowed him to put them on they were unsafe to be on my car.
As stated on the Jax website when it comes to understanding tyre load rating it stated "By adhering to the load index specifications, you ensure optimal safety and performance. For safety reasons, it is imperative that the loading carrying capacity of the wheel is suitable for the vehicle to which it is being fitted."
So since originally putting these tyres on my vehicle you have compromised my families safety and performance of my vehicle every time I am in it. I will ensure everyone I know is aware that Jax Narellan
have an absolute zero care factor when it comes to customer satisfaction or the safety and performance of your Vehicle.

My recent visit to Jax Tyres in Smithfield left much to be desired. The service I encountered was by far the poorest I've ever experienced. Upon my arrival, I was immediately met with a scene of chaos—a disgruntled customer was loudly expressing their dissatisfaction to the manager, escalating into a heated exchange that spilled outside.
Despite my simple request for a puncture repair and my willingness to leave the car for the entire day if needed, another employee informed me that they were fully booked and unable to accommodate the job. This lack of flexibility, coupled with the evident disregard for customer service, left me deeply unimpressed.
From what I witnessed, it's clear that with such an attitude and lack of dedication to customer satisfaction, the future of this business appears uncertain. Without significant improvements in their approach to service, I doubt they will be able to thrive in the competitive market.

If I can give them zero stars I would have. I made a appoinment to take the car in for tyres on the 15/03/24 at 9am at the Rockhampton branch.
I dropped the car of at 9am and ask them at what time it will be finish, I was told at 11am. So we left and came back at 11am, and saw thet they did not even start on this car. So we waited for a half hour before it was finish. Arrived at home a saw there is a few of my wheel nut cups missing. Then decide to look if they put my wheelnut lock back, and it was missing. They stole it. I phone them and was told that I will be phoned back. Nothing. I put a complain in and head office phone me with big excuses and was told I will be phoned back. Nothing.
I had to phone them back and was told the car never had a lock nut(that was not true). I drove out there and all out of nowhere they came straight away with the locknut. So I just want to warn everybody about this experience that I had with this company
in Rockhampton branch will never visit them again.
They stole your stuff and then tells you there was nothing in the car.

I purchased a set of Pilot Sport 4 tyres from the Ipswich store as I was told they were a superior tyre to the RE003 tyres. I wasn't satisfied with the new tyres and although they were willing to swap them I wasn't satisfied with the other options. They didn't seem too interested in going that extra mile to make me satisfied. Long story short I'm stuck with tyres I don't like and an unsatisfactory outcome. Would I go back? Definitely not.
