Bad company. Do not use.

Bad company. Not dependable. Not trustworthy. Definitely avoid.

We used Jack Removals for a move from UK to Spain. They delivered our possessions nearly 3 weeks late. They had numerous excuses every time we called them to find out what was happening. So, that was a poor and stressful experience.
Also, the delivery van had a collision with a low branch on the way to us, which caused some damage to our possessions. When we booked Jack Removals told us they had insurance. But as I write this it's now been over 5 months since I submitted the insurance claim to Jack Removals and nothing has progressed. I've called and emailed at least 30 times and receive excuses or no response at all. So, this has also been another terrible experience of dealing with Jack Removals.

I will use them again if i will need to…

I will use them again if i will need to change the country . Reasonable prices , payed £4900 to pack ,move 2 vans from Birmingham to Castelion . They keep me updated every time when i need anything. Some issues with glass items , had 3 of them damaged and i find out after that there insurance doesn't cover it. For the money which i payed was a good service.

I shiped couple of items from Tourquay…

I shiped couple of items from Tourquay to Bilbao. For the amount which i payed (£500) service was good even if they delay 4 days over the 14 days. They also provide me a link where i can see in real time excatly where the vehicle is

I didn't understand from there quote "1 man" and I ended to help the driver to load and unload. ... I knew that I would definitely pay for the 2nd man
But at the end was a good service for the amount which I payed

Great service and experience

We used this company to move some of our furniture from UK to Alicante. They provide us a live tracking link and we were able to check where the vehicles were in real time.

We used this company to move our belongings from UK to Spain. One of top eachother was a good experience
Good points:
1. They were able to provide a qoute instantly over the phone
2.Davey did a great job from start to the end
3. They have a live tracking system unbelievable
4. Customer services offered by Cristina is wonderful

Bad points
1. They offer a window of 6 hours on collection
2.They said will deliver in 14 days but our load arrived in 16 days

If you are looking for a budget removals company this guys are doing the job

Extremely Stressful Experience

There is a striking pattern in the Trustpilot reviews. There appear to be a large number of glowing 5-star reviews alongside very serious 1-star complaints describing delays, damage and lack of communication, with very little in between. That kind of extreme swing should give potential customers pause. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this company to read the 1-star reviews carefully and not rely solely on the overall rating. The experiences described there are far more consistent with what we went through.

Our experience with Jack International Removals was deeply disappointing and incredibly stressful.

When we booked, we were told delivery would likely take 5–9 days, with a 14-day maximum window. The 14-day window passed with no delivery and no confirmed dispatch. We were given repeated assurances that the shipment would leave “this week”, then “Thursday”, then “Friday”, with delivery promised over the weekend. None of these promises were met.
What made this particularly difficult was the lack of communication. Almost every update required multiple calls, messages and emails from us, many of which went unanswered for days. Each time we managed to reach someone we were given a different excuse, including customs paperwork changes, a problem with the van, and later that the company had a backlog.
At one stage we were told the truck was being loaded and that tracking would be sent that evening, which never happened. After weeks of missed dispatch promises and very limited communication, we genuinely started to worry that our belongings might have been lost.
After weeks of delays we were suddenly contacted on 27 Feb by a different representative saying delivery would be the next day.
This was especially difficult because we had been promised multiple times that we would receive three days’ notice before delivery, as we were not able to stay in the empty property.
We had informed the company many times that notice was essential because the property is rural and we were standing by elsewhere. We had to rush back to the house from another country with less than 24 hours notice, at significant expense.
Another very upsetting moment happened 24 hours before collection, when we were told we would need to pay an additional £600 for a second driver due to their admin error. They threatened to cancel if we did not confirm immediately. With expenses incurred for parking restrictions already we felt we had no choice but to pay. However, when delivery finally happened only one driver arrived, which meant we paid for a service that was never actually provided.
Unfortunately the problems continued when the goods arrived.
• Several boxes arrived damaged.
• Our television box, clearly labelled FRAGILE, arrived soaked in liquid which had penetrated the packaging and damaged the television.
• Our arm chair arrived torn and heavily stained. We had been specifically advised not to wrap it in plastic and were assured protective blankets would be used, yet it appears to have been transported directly on the filthy truck floor and mishandled.
Moving internationally is already a stressful life event. Instead of feeling supported by the company handling our belongings, we experienced weeks of uncertainty, repeated broken commitments, pressure for extra payment, and ultimately damaged items.
We even begged the company to simply be honest with us about the timeline, no matter how long the delay, so that we could inform our employers and arrange appropriate accommodation. Instead, we were repeatedly given last-minute changes and shifting promises, which caused significant disruption, additional costs and lost income. Much of this could have been avoided if the company had just been transparent about the real timeline. Reading other recent reviews, it appears there is a clear pattern of the same behaviour, which makes it hard not to conclude that this may be a form of “bait and switch”, advertising low costs to secure bookings and then repeatedly changing the terms and schedule once customers are committed.
We have contacted the company requesting a refund of the second-driver charge and compensation for the damaged goods, and we hope they will now take responsibility and resolve this properly.
I sincerely hope no one else has to go through the level of stress and disappointment we experienced during what should have been a straightforward move. I urge you not to use this company.

We had a very disappointing experience…

We had a very disappointing experience with this transport company.

We paid for a moving service from London to Valencia, and the price clearly included two movers for pickup and two movers for delivery. Each mover was charged at £300, and we specifically requested two people on both sides because we were not able to carry heavy items ourselves due to health reasons.

First of all, our belongings arrived about two weeks later than expected. However, the biggest issue was the delivery in Valencia. Despite the fact that we paid for two movers, only one person arrived to deliver everything.

The driver was alone and understandably could not manage all the boxes and furniture by himself. Because of this, we had to help unload the truck and carry everything upstairs ourselves, which was exactly what we wanted to avoid when we clearly requested and paid for two movers.

After the delivery, we contacted the company and explained the situation. We asked for a refund for the second mover, since we paid for a service that was not provided. They asked for our bank details, which we provided, but we never heard back from them and never received the refund.

For these reasons, we unfortunately cannot recommend this company to anyone looking for an international moving service. The service we paid for was not delivered, and the issue was never properly resolved.

Update: After posting this above review, the company finally processed the refund for the second mover, which took about one month from the delivery date. I would also like to mention that Cristina from their team was very helpful and polite while communicating with us about the issue. We appreciate her assistance in resolving the situation. However, the delay and the initial lack of follow-up were still quite frustrating.

Do not trust this company

First I sent them a video for them to evaluate the weight of my stuff and they underestimated it by half so I ended up paying twice as much. Then the guy who came to pick up my stuff was fa from being fit and I ended up carrying most of the heavy stuff.
At the delivery, my stuff were mixed with a second customer AND half my stuff were left in the warehouse in England so I had to wit for the next delivery. My chairs and mattresses were stained and a few stuff were missing. When I complained to Davey, he offered to give me a 100£ as a gesture, so I did not have to fill in a complaint. This was 3 months ago and he does not answer the phone, and when he answer messages, he keeps telling me this will be done within 5 working days... 3 months later, I'm still calling him every week! Do not trust this company
