We used this company in June/July 2025 to move from Southern England to Madrid, Spain.
We had a number of serious issues, some moderate and some mild.
Serious issues included damage to our items, lots of dents, scratches and tape added by them that damaged furniture when removed. They lost a number of our items, including two high quality office chairs and half a rowing machine worth £1k new (not small items and not boxes). Showed absolutely no curiosity to investigate where our items went or remorse that they'd been lost. Instead we've been waiting months for their supposed insurance company to process our claim with no end in sight, they even tried to get us to liaise directly with the insurers and tried to stall us when we first reported missing items. They prematurely closed support tickets resulting in our emails getting lost. They won't take our phone calls. They also won't reimburse us for the extra weight they charged us for for lost items. The insurance policy they hold seems pointless and they won't reimburse for any losses or damage they caused without THEIR insurer paying them first.
Milder issues but still problematic include weeks of radio silence whilst we were waiting for delivery (and us having to chase them after being quoted a few weeks- took well over a month), short notice of delivery, only 1 delivery person carrying our items from van to property so we had to help, inappropriate/dangerous footwear (sliders) of the delivery people, very little English (not even A1 level or basic phrases pertinent to removals) spoken by the delivery people/packers on both ends which made everything feel awkward and unsafe. They seemed most focused on speed than safety or care.
We would not recommend them. They are cheaper for a reason. Customer service very poor.

They collected everything on Tuesday 5th August and were told that it would arrive in 3 days, 9 days later we finally got the stuff even though we had pre arranged for everything to come earlier. We are deeply dissatisfied on how our property was treated with utter disrespect such as dents, scratches and damaged goods. We are extremely disappointed and would never recommend to anyone in the future.
Upon booking the services of this company I was quoted 7-14 days for delivery of my belongings in Portugal from UK.
Collection was scheduled for 11th July 2025, we are now 1 month later and I still have not received my whole life belongings. Living in a new Country with a 4 year old son and a dog, with only the clothes we took in our suitcases by plane.
This company has made what is the most stressful thing I have done in my life, relocating as a single mum, to another Country, a thousand times worse not having my most sentimental worldly belongings.
Whenever contact is made I am brushed off saying there is no update from the Warehouse and they'll let me know as soon as a tracking link is provided.
Also be warned of their weight limits, as this significantly increased my initial quote, making them more expensive than their competitors that offered a much quicker and less stressful service.
I just hope they haven't lost my belongings and they arrive this week (week 5).
Oh and when I ask about complaints / compensation they say they didn't ever provide a guaranteed delivery date so no breach of contract.

Do not trust the salespeople at this company!
We went with this company because they seemed to be the best value company we had spoken to as well as the most trustworthy. We had several lower end companies contact us too, but this one seemed just right (mid-way between the two price-wise but also as ‘above board’ as any of the higher end companies). We had contact with an amazing salesperson who we are unable to name due to Trustpilot’s guidelines. She seems to be the main contact person at the company however. She seemed like she was extremely honest and like she had a lot of integrity. We had a few long chats where she claimed to provide a lot of the services given by the higher end companies at a reasonable price. She assured me that the service would include a complete dismantling and reassembly service (and indeed this was included on their invoice to us), that they would box up any fragile items that they were worried about transporting, and, finally, that they would use reusable and sustainable packaging e.g. blankets for furniture etc. I sent her several long videos (at her request) of our flat and all its contents, and also the access. During one of our conversations, she assured me that many of the movers in her company are highly experienced with delicate items and have worked there for over 20 years. The overall impression I had from her is that we can completely relax and she will take care of everything for us.
The reality couldn’t have been more different. On the day of the pick up the men arrived without any tools to dismantle anything (thank goodness my husband hadn’t packed his tools), they couldn’t speak a word of English (so it was impossible to explain anything to them), and they weren’t even from Rhino Removals but from some other company in Romania (who we are also unable to name because of Trustpilot’s guidelines).
When the movers arrived in Manchester after a few days (it was a different set of movers), they delivered half our belongings. The other half had been put in storage in Manchester and we went to collect it all later in the day. We simply could not believe the degree of damage to our items (both the first half and the second half). We have several pictures to show how horribly our items (including fragile items and boxes marked ‘fragile’) had been loaded onto the truck and storage facility. A number of our precious items were either dented, broken or stained with black handprints (including our mattresses). The movers (and their boss, who I spoke to on the phone) claimed that a reassembly team would follow up a few days later. No reassembly team ever turned up.
When we wrote to the salesperson we had previously spoken to, to complain about the damage to our items and also ask about the reassembly, she sent us an email saying that she had contacted their insurance company about the damage and that she would send a comprehensive reply to each and every one of our complaints. Needless to say, no insurance company ever got in touch and we never received any reply. My husband spent hours on trips to Ikea to find the spare parts to items that they had dismantled because it wasn’t clear where the spare parts had been stored (we’ve never found many of them). We also had to make several trips to our local launderette to get all of our mattress covers laundered. All of this just after we’d arrived in a new city and were still finding our feet and had a very upset toddler to manage. It was a highly stressful experience to say the least. As for our fragile items, in most cases there was simply nothing we could do. It’s been a painful lesson for us not to be so trusting even when the person sounds very trustworthy.
Please please don’t be fooled by this company - we have literally never come across anyone who talks as good a game as the salesperson here and whose actions are so completely incongruous with their words.
Unfortunately for me this was a TERRIBLE experience. I even felt sorry for the drive that did not speak English - as I had to increase my voice for him to understand that he needed to wait!
I end up spending wayy much more to accommodate to their poor communication. And excuses. Comfortably asking to adapt to them with no gesture or discount. I felt set up as " if you don't pay we don't give your stuff back policy" literally had to physically hold the van as the driver did not speak English to sort the situation first.
The money kept adding and all I got was anxiety, stress ( including friends that I had to disturb) cab that I had to spend on...
It's very unfortunate to leave a bad review as we are living in a difficult time for everyone...
But I absolutely can't stay quiet about it!
Advice sometimes it better to pay MORE somewhere else, as this was a traumatic experience that I will not leave there or forget....

Packing good with only one breakage.
Except all expensive coats and a wedding outfit thrown on hangers into a Pickford Box with no care at all.
Despite phone call and email to Justin,who we had both met and liked and trusted enough to handle our removals,complaining of this treatment of expensive garments,which should have gone into a hanging box,not even the courtesy of a reply ,how rude and ignorant.
TV was removed from stand and not replaced on stand with cables dumped at other end of lounge.
Justin knew we were elderly ,wellington boots and garden tools in box for garage dumped in lounge ,boxes marked for bed room 2 and 3 in lounge also ,how did they expect us to get them upstairs?He was not here but must have given his men instructions.
We could go on but no point ,they do not care,get their Money up front so why would they care?law needs changing.

We believe that the owners of the business are A1 removals also Eastbourne ,East Sussex and branches in Hastings we believe but we only dealt with Rhino Removals Eastbourne with an 01323 telephone number and a Hastings Number.The phone often finally cut to answering machine and was followed shortly thereafter by an incoming mobile phone call.
Suggest that whoever is complaining about the review is either lying or there are other companies registered as Rhino Removals and they need to look up Rhino Removals Eastbourne and complain to them or get them to change their name.
Not down to us ,we had a poor experience of Rhino Removals on 17th /18thDecember and left several messages complaining ,to date they have not replied by any method

They provided the most competitive quote for our move from the UK to Italy (£900 for 300 kg - 2m3). Irina and Nicole were very responsive throughout the process. The boxes were picked up from our door and delivered safely to our home in 10 days, making everything smooth and stress-free. The only drawback was the unclear process for weighing the items. We weighed everything ourselves and estimated a total weight below 300 kg, but they later sent a video showing 353 kg. It wasn't clear whether the pallet or any additional packaging was included in that weight. Since the extra fee was £3/kg (and we knwe it), we ended up paying an additional £159.
The Rhino team made our move to Italy a breeze! They were attentive to our needs, and the entire process was efficient. All of our items arrived safely, and the communication was excellent. I highly recommend them for any international moving needs!

Full house move to Barcelona, Excellent Service! Since my husband is a mechanic they had agreed on the volume and weight needed from the first call. The guys loaded and packed everything, made the agreed-upon delivery on schedule no surprises. Overall we are pleased with the service and will definitely recommend.

Moved from Germany to UK.
The experience was unpleasant to say the least. The initial communication was excellent until you paid the deposit. We have chosen them because they agreed to collect on a specific date, Monday and we booked for our flight on a Tuesday. Two days before the collection, they said they will come one day earlier (Sunday). We thought it was fine so we rush to pack everything to be collected at 8 am. On the Sunday, a guy with a grey truck (without any company logo) turn up with flip flops. As we agreed we will help to move on our side as well since it is only one guy. After loading everything, the guy said maybe this is overweight, we will have to charge you extra after weighing it at their site. If they are honest, they should have weigh it when they come and not after loading. The driver agreed to deliver on Tuesday evening.
We took the flight back on Tuesday and waited for them to deliver. They then told us that the good is sent to the warehouse instead because they need to use the truck for something else. We thought this was a scam since everything that they do so far are very unprofessional. They then ask us to pay first before they can deliver the good. They have doubled the payment as from initial quotation because of the extra weight. We ask if we can pay them at the office and check if our belonging are in good condition. At the end we agreed to pay half and pay the rest when they deliver the rest.
It was not easy to estimate the weight of every single box when you are moving house, it is not a suitcase that you check in at the airport.
I would not recommend to use them.

Quick review: All of our things arrived safely in Germany. They took good care of our things. Rhino removals price was fair and communication with Nicole was good.
The reason why I'm only giving 4 stars is because only one driver helped (in the UK and in Germany), which was not optimal.
A few key points, which might help other people:
-We did not need to fill in any documents, other than the insurance document. Best to make a list of all of your stuff beforehand, so it's easy to fill this in
-Careful with extra weight, we payed a lot more than initially anticipated due to extra weight. In hindsight, we probably should have weight our things beforehand and leave a few more things behind
-Specifically ask for a second driver if you need one. In both locations! For us only one driver arrived, which wasn't optimal
-Nicole replies quite quickly on WhatsApp or calls back, which is good if there are any questions
-Our things arrived safely. Don't stress out too much, if you are ever in the same situation, moving countries is always a little bit stressful :)

Daniel and his team have been simply amazing. From the communication, to the management and the care of our belongings. On top of it, I am particularly grateful as Daniel has been able to pick-up our boxes instead of a previous removal agency which had 2 months delay. As soon as Daniel was managing it, our delivery arrived in the next four days. I cannot recommend enough. They saved us and we will always be extremely grateful.
