Unoccupied property probate insurance is a very specific requirement which is covered in a very professional way by these guys.
The sign up process was smooth and easy. We had to renew our cover due to an extended probate process, which was also quick and easy.
When it came to terminating cover, I received a pro-rata refund, with no cancellation fee, on the same day that I applied for it.

Claim not upheld due to small print stating I needed to have someone check the property every 7 days (which I did) but was required to take pictures of the outside and inside and log entry and exit times of the empty property

I’m sure if I’d done the above there would have been an additional clause to stop the claim.

Found this useful when house unoccupied for indeterminate period. Liked the proportionate refund promptly given.

Questions on the application form were sensible and. crucially, were directed at Executors of the Estate.
