Very well organized Rajasthan tours. We stayed at the Taj Palace hotels in Jodhpur, Udaipur and Jaipur which were truly Five star in every sense-hotel amenities, rooms, restaurants and very friendly hotel staff. The Indian Excursion Company arranged our stay at these hotels along with airport transfer, visit to the cities, helpful guides and comfortable air-conditioned vehicles. People were very courteous, eager to help and willing to mould our trips according to our needs and desires.
The price was appropriate for the level of services provided and payment methods were convenient

It was an AMAZING adventure. All of the arrangements were perfect, our drivers the BEST, great guides ( very knowledgeable and spoke English very well). Our accommodations were wonderful ! Maddie and Shiv do such a great job in all aspects of the planning and following-through of the plans! I highly recommend using Indian Excursions Co. for a perfect adventure in Rajasthan! My son and daughter travelled with them a few months before my trip, and also had a fantastic experience with them!

Ever since the age of 10 , I have been in love with the beauty and story behind the Taj Mahal. As I grew, so did my appreciation for India's rich history and religious practices, all wrapped up in a glorious kaleidoscope of color and artistic detail. After 58 years, I was finally able to experience India first hand, with my sister Patricia, thanks to the amazing team at Indian Excursions!
Madelaine spent countless hours setting up a suggested itinerary, based on our personal wants and needs. She gradually customized it to fit our budget, without sacrificing or compromising the quality or caliber of hotels, activities, or personal comfort.
Once we arrived in New Delhi, Shiv took responsibility for logistics- overseeing transportation, transfers and time management. Each and every driver, tour guide and hotel "welcoming committee" member added to our feeling of safety, security and satisfaction.
As a hospitality veteran ( former innkeeper of Cedar Crest Inn, located in Asheville, North Carolina), I know first hand and appreciate what it takes to provide such a high standard of excellence. All of the Indian Excursions team members exceeded our expectations, turned dreams into reality and left us with priceless memories to cherish for a lifetime.Thank you so much!

I can honestly say we have had the best holiday ever. Your company were absolutely marvellous from start to finish and my husband and I cannot thank you and Shiv enough.
Everything ran seamlessly, and there were so many highlights, from walking with elephants, to the Amber Fort, to the Taj Mahal to spending time in a Sikh temple at such an important celebration for them and so much more.
The guides were superb and really helped us understand the different view points from all the religions and to give us all the history we could possibly want for the magnificent sites we saw.
I would also like to say the biggest thank you to Sandeep, our driver who just made everything stress free. It was a pleasure to spend our time in India with him so please pass on our huge thanks, we already miss him!
We loved it so much we are hoping to come back next year and look forward to hearing all your thoughts and help on planning our next adventure.

From the moment we found Indian Excursions Company online, through to our departure from Delhi airport, we were so impressed by their service, attention to detail and seamless organisation of all parts of our trip. Neither my husband or I had ever travelled to India before, but Madeleine helped us hugely with organising the trip and by taking all of the stress out of the preparations, and once we arrived in India Shiv helped us with all the logisitcs alongide our fantastic driver Madan. The trip was fantastically well planned and thought through (and we heard of several less impressive companies from other travellers along the way) and the entire process was stress free and fantastic!! We had a wonderful trip, exactly the right amount of sightseeing, adventures and relaxing and we simply couldn't recommend Indian Excursion enough.

My husband and I have just returned from the most magnificent three week holiday in India.
Our tour was organised with Madeleine from Indian Excursions Company and from the very first email contact with Maddie she was friendly and professional in helping guide and advise us on our desired private tour and everything was perfect. We stayed at Oberoi and Taj hotels as well the Sujan Rajmahal Palace in Jaipur and Dev Shree in the coutryside between Jaipur and Udaipur. All of our accommodations were superb and beyond our expectations. Shiv greeted us on arrival and departure from Delhi and was courteous, professional and friendly, all the while being most helpful. Our drivers were wonderful, maintaining spotless cars and providing us with professional, courteous and friendly service, our favourite being Sanjay. Our guides likewise were friendly, helpful and professional in providing us with expert knowledge of their city/town. We could not recommend Indian Excursions Co highly enough, they are the best tour company we have ever used for our overseas travels and we have travelled the world! Thank you very much Maddie and Shiv and to everyone in your company for making our holiday one of the best ever!

We had a fantastic time on our 6 night tour of the Golden Triangle. The car and driver were great as were all our guides. Everyone was punctual, friendly and flexible on where to go and what to see. We would definitely travel again with Indian Excursions and recommend them without hesitation.

From our first contact10 months prior to our arrival in India, we knew we had made the right choice. From the outset Madeleine helped us to chose our itinerary, a little adjustment , a suggestion here and there made this 12 day tour a magical experience.
The Reps, Guides and our driver, Madan were helpful, understanding and courteous on every occasion and the various hotel staff made us feel so welcome. It would be difficult to chose between each destination or hotel but maybe the Samode Palace and Dev Shree might just edge it ....... but each hotel was fabulous.
We could not recommend Indian Excursions more, don’t hesitate, book as soon as you can. We have done much traveling since we retired 20 years ago and this was our first visit to India, hopefully it won’t be the last ,,,we really should have made it sooner.

My daughter and I have just completed a fabulous trip to India with Indian Excursion.
This is a luxury tour company who have done an excellent job in organizing our 9 day trip in Rajasthan. The whole trip from Madeleine designing the trip that we wanted to Shiv organizing all the ground work once we arrived was amazing. The guides, hotel representatives, and driver were professional, friendly and accommodating.
This is a first class company and I highly recommend using them for a trip to India.

The western part of Rajasthan-Tour was our second tour with Indian excursions ! Once again we are more than happy having booked trough Madeleine and her team. We can highly recommend them.
They work extremely professional: the guest is a real king. Everything is perfectly planned and organised so that we could simply enjoy the tour.
Our tourbus was very comfortable and it had even a snack bar on board. Our driver brought as safely from one place to the other and he knew good places for coffee breaks or for having lunch.
Last but not least all suggested hotels were breathtaking - just like a dream!

I, together with my five travel companions, had a great experience with Indian Excursions Co.
Maddie tailored, with my suggestions, a perfect itinerary for our first journey to India and in particular to Rajasthan. Everything was planned in details and we could enjoy every moment of our holiday as we were all looked after with attention and much care.
Times for sightseeing was perfectly scheduled so that we had enough time to relax and enjoy the wonderful hotels we were staying in.
Jatin, who welcomed us at the airport and accompanied us for a warm farewell, has been very nice and professional as well as attentive to contact us on the phone when one of us had some little health problems.
Shiv also was of immediate assistance when we had a particular request for some items to buy.
What to say about Ajay, our fantastic driver who carried us for 12 days through the chaotic streets of India without a minimum problem, even when we suddenly dropped in the middle of a semi-flood due to a monsoon. Reliable, safe, always on time and willing to accept our jokes in a few occasions. Also his assistant Money was very polite and attentive to let us find our bus always perfect and comfortable.
On the whole I would definitely and with no doubt recommend Indian Excursions Co. for a personalized tour of Rajasthan/India.
We'll bring memories of this trip with us for ever.

We had much trepidation about traveling in India and our previous self-organised trips were fraught with illness, bureaucracy at hotels & trains etc.
We are so lucky to have found Indian excursions via an internet search! Immediately it was obvious their itineraries offered more than the run of the mill tours, such as being able to experience rural Rajasthan, the unusual properties they chose, & the off the beaten path attractions such as the Chand Baori stepwell (which many of our Indian friends who had visited this region had never even heard of!). And an elephant rescue camp!!!!
Madeleine was extremely flexible as my parents dropped out at the last minute, and she was great about finding ways for us to maximize occupancy (at one point we were going to be a group of 9).
And then the tour! Our driver Swaroop and his co-pilot made us feel very safe and were extremely punctual always, and had great input on sites. The van was always fully stocked with thing we didn’t even know we needed but did - rolls of toilet paper (many Indian public bathrooms while clean do not have TP), wipes (great on hot humid days and after visiting religious sites barefoot), snacks, cold mineral bottled water AND WiFi!!! The mini bus Madeleine recommended was spacious and our family of 4 did not get on each other’s nerves during the 4-6hour drives and the seats reclined!
Then the properties we stayed at - OMG! One more stunning than the next, converted palaces, each with significant history, and from start to finish we felt waited on hand and foot - from Indian Excursions staff at check in and check out at each hotel, to the hotels themselves. Our teen girls got to “flex on their Insta posts” so they were happy = relaxed parents 😀😂. But seriously, the stunning visual memories and the literally royal experiences were unbelievable. The sharp contrast between where we had the luxury of staying vs the reality of Indian life really has cemented gratitude for all of us.
And the guides at each site - employed by Indian Excursions, were there promptly and really were experts of history! Yusuf in Agra was stupendous. They made all the historical sight seeing fun and we learnt so much!
We will be planning a South India trip in the near future and we’re ecstatic that Indian excursions does organise those also!!
This trip changed our relationship with India and has obliterated all prior negative experiences! Thank you Shiv, Madeleine, Jatin and Swaroop!

Our driver, Sanjay, was particularly caring and capable - we were so glad we were not driving!!! His skills were amazing in the most chaotic conditions of regular Indian traffic. He treated us as his family. Our three guides were all exceptionally knowledgeable, sharing their passion with us for their own particular places of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. The four Oberoi properties, where we stayed, were all stunningly beautiful and their staff were so kind, helpful and very eager to please. Perfectly organized trip from a to z, neat car with Wifi, pleasant company, very knowledgeable guides, Imperial in Delhi and Samode Haveli in Jaipur were stylish hotels. Reading the 'Empire of the Moghul' by Alex Rutherford in the evening was nicely complementing the site seeing during the day.

We have just returned from a 10 day adventure across Rajasthan arranged meticulously by Madeleine and her team. We both travel extensively and I have to say it was one of the most amazing experiences we have had in our many years transversing across the globe. The personal experiences Madeleine arranged for me when I told her one of my passions was horse riding were amazing. I got to ride lovely Marwari horses in Jaipur, Udaipur and Ranthambore with a personal guide off the beaten track, while my husband enjoyed a ride out with our fantastic guide Lokesh on a Royal Enfield motorbike across Udaipur. The hotels and the tours were just what we wanted, with enough time to relax in between and to top it all off, we saw the Tiger which was one of our reasons for going, on our third outing to the Ranthambore safari park. I would highly recommend Indian Excursions to anyone considering a trip to India.

Just finished a two week trip to Delhi , Agra . Jaipur and Mumbai . Everything organized by Indian Excursions to provide a seemless and memorable holiday . Have no reservation in recommending Them and will definitely be using Indian Excursion on our next visit to India .

The trip was perfectly planned and executed. All guides were first class, we always felt well looked after. Our trip to India was a full success and we can only highly recommend Indian Excursions.

What a fantastic vacation we have just had with our family (2 adults, 2 kids 10&11 yrs). Planned and executed wonderfully by Madeleine and Shiv. The Tour Schedule was well prepared and made in line with our discussions. The welcome at the airport on arrival, followed by the attention to detail to deliver tours and different hotel experiences during the vacation really impressed us.
