Dear Madeline and Shiv,
My daughter and I had a great time in India this time.
Everything was well organized and went smoothly. The driver was very good, he was well mannered, very patient especially while driving through crazily heavy traffic and two guides in Agra and Jaipur were very good as well. We enjoyed listleing Indian history and stories of palaces, mosques, etc... from them. The guide in Delhi was good but we thought he was less experience.
There was one thing we were not satisfied with was the hotel room we stayed in each place, they were either no good view or located on the first floor right by the pool.
But other than that our first trip to India was great and made a lot of good memories.

Indian Excursions provided an excellent service from start to finish. Madeleine arranged our itinerary and accommodation, internal flights and a driver who remained with us for the duration of our trip. All the arranged guides turned up promptly, as did the driver. We were even escorted back to the airport at the end of our trip to ensure that all went smoothly with check in. My wife and I spent 17 days in Rajasthan with Sanjay as our driver in November. Unless you’re prepared to spend months in India, getting around by yourself can be quite difficult. Finding someone to help organize it can take a leap of faith. From the moment of contacting Madeleine things went very smoothly as she seemed to intuitively understand what we wanted. The itinerary actually exceeded our expectations. From the time of arrival Shiv’s organization was faultless. The hotels, guides, connections, all worked seamlessly. We always felt safe in the car with Sanjay and he was able to make the travel time both interesting and enjoyable.
In terms of planning I’d recommend reading the experiences on the website as I found them to be both stimulating and very accurate descriptions. We absolutely loved the slightly off the track places of Churu, Nagaur, and Narlai.

This is the BEST way to visit India as an NRI (non resident indian born overseas) to give yourself and children a well organized, safe, clean and comfortable trip to India. From the very start of the planning process all through our special trip, Indian Excursions Co were consummate professionals. Madeleine was receptive to all our requests and put together a great itinerary. When an internal flight was cancelled just before we left home, there was no panic and alternatives were suggested in a calm and professional way. We felt totally confident. My wife and I recently made a trip to Rajasthan with our daughter for whom it was her first trip. Madeliene and Shiv made the all the necessary arrangements from before we landed in Delhi to when we departed from Delhi after two weeks.

My mum and I did a private tour with Indian Excursions Co at the end of October for two weeks which included Varansi and various parts of Rajasthan. We had the most brilliant time with so many special moments. Both Madeleine and Shiv were excellent with helping us to plan and co-ordinate our itinerary, and were great with their communication. The local reps and tour guides were always very knowledgable and helpful. Going from one place to another was smooth and hassle free. The hotels were lovely and we were made to feel very welcomed. We booked our first Indian adventure with Indian Excursions as we simply found the whole thing too overwhelming to organise independently, despite being seasoned travellers.

From the outset Maddie was really helpful and really 'got' what we were looking for. She was flexible to our requirements and responsive to our needs.

We stayed at some wonderful hotels, had once in a lifetime experiences (seeing a tiger and her cub in the wild, traditional Indian block painting) and importantly felt safe and supported every step of the way. Shiv was our main contact when we were there and was constantly on hand to deal with any issues (these were minor!).

I think the price point is right to reflect the level of service, I genuinely wouldn't even consider booking with another company if I was to return to India (which we certainly will!).

I was going to be in India for a family wedding and decided to tour Rajasthan prior to the wedding. As a woman traveling alone, I had many questions and concerns. After researching many travel agencies/tour companies I chose Indian Excursions because of their overall professionalism (prompt and detailed responses to questions, organization and presentation of itinerary and travel materials, very individualized service, and reasonable pricing).

Maddie and Shiv, along with my tour guide and drivers made sure that my Rajasthan adventure was everything I had dreamt of. The hotels we chose were exceptional, within my budget, and provided unique experiences. At each hotel, my guide would accompany me to check-in and follow up to ensure that my luggage had arrived and my accommodations were okay. My daily itinerary was well prepared but flexible in case I wanted to add or remove something. Each day my driver had plenty of bottled water and snacks in the car. They even had sun shades in all my cars upon my request. While on my journey, I wanted to visit a hair salon so I emailed Maddie, who promptly engaged Shiv. We spoke briefly and before I knew it, he had made an appointment for me at the salon of my choice. The Indian Excursions team saw to every detail and made my trip effortless and exceptional.

From the moment we were met by Shiv at Delhi Airport to ten days later when we departed we experienced a delicious taste of India by this highly efficient Travel Company. Our Driver Madan kept us safe which was a miracle! The Itinerary suggested to us was just perfect and all the guides were expert on the cities we visited. I travelled to Radjasthan with a woman friend, both of us in our 70s. In the first instance we had contacted a well known travel company in London who specialised in personalised tours. Then we heard about Indian Experiences from my daughter who had travelled with them earlier in the year.
Indian Experiences came up with an excellent itinerary which fitted in well with our plans and wishes. They put together the whole trip and were flexible to make any changes we required.
The organisation before our arrival was clear and comprehensive. From the moment of our arrival we were perfectly looked after by Shiv and the team. We had an excellent driver, extremely important in the very individual Indian driving conditions, and very competent, and pleasant English speaking guides. We were met at every new venue by an Indian Experiences rep. Everything was made easy for us, so we could enjoy our visit to the maximum.
Just a small example of Indian Excursions attention to detail. While at the Lake Palace in Udaipur, we opted to take the Sunset Lake Cruise. While all other hotel guests packed on to crowded launches, we had a boat to ourselves. It made us feel very special.

We recently spent 3 weeks in India travelling from Delhi to Agra and then through Rajasthan (Ranthanmbore, Jaipur, Jodphur and Udaipur) before finally slowing down in Goa. All was booked through Indian Excursions.
Madeliene (Maddie) was our first point of contact. From start to finish Maddie was completely across all of our requests and enquiries, coming back to us quickly and with detailed, well thought out responses, including often anticipating our needs before we even knew what they were.
Maddie was aware that it was our 20 year anniversary and had taken the trouble to arrange some lovely surprises along the way.
Shiv was at Delhi airport to greet us, along with Madan who was to be our driver for the next two weeks. Shiv saw us settled into our hotel and then became our point of contact for any questions/ assistance we needed. We did have a couple of queries during our stay and again Shiv was very responsive. He also reached out a number of times to check in.
We had great guides throughout - each of them local to the relevant city and were an absolute wealth of information with a real passion for their home. In a couple of destinations we changed the itinerary at the last minute and they were completely flexible.
Madan, our driver, was a real star and was a great companion throughout - introducing us to little insights and sharing his knowledge from his experiences across the region.
Suffice to say, we have had the most wonderful, enriching holiday that has become the trip of a lifetime. Words do not describe the breadth and depth of experiences we shared.

Very well organized Rajasthan tours. We stayed at the Taj Palace hotels in Jodhpur, Udaipur and Jaipur which were truly Five star in every sense-hotel amenities, rooms, restaurants and very friendly hotel staff. The Indian Excursion Company arranged our stay at these hotels along with airport transfer, visit to the cities, helpful guides and comfortable air-conditioned vehicles. People were very courteous, eager to help and willing to mould our trips according to our needs and desires.
The price was appropriate for the level of services provided and payment methods were convenient

It was an AMAZING adventure. All of the arrangements were perfect, our drivers the BEST, great guides ( very knowledgeable and spoke English very well). Our accommodations were wonderful !
