On March 28th I purchased a prepaid 500 dollar card and it was frauded when I purchased it. There was no way for me to know. I've been running after them to give me my 500$ back and nothing has been resolved on June 3rd. Scammers and thieves. All their customer service is in India and they keep telling me call back in 48 hours

Purchased a $100 mastercard gift card from Target in Cali on 03/10/23. On 03/22/23 the entire $100 gift card was used at a Target in South Carolina. Contacted Incomm, was hung up on, language barrier, asked to email my DL, receipt, and copy of both sides of card. DL??? Spoke to Target and when asked were does it notify the consumer that these cards are purchased at your own risk there response was the insert in the mastercard packaging your card comes in and in the fine print on their website. What a joke. Both companies need to be held responsible for this scam. Already reported to BBB. A class action must be completed again Target and Incomm.

This is the 2nd card from Vanilla Gift (InComm) that was breached. Both were drained before I used them for the 1st time. I feel it has to be an employee of thiers because the purchases are very similar and for very small amounts over a couple of days, and the card never left my wallet. The first card was replaced for the full remaining balance but the 2nd one has been in dispute since 01/03/23. They issued a new card, but it was short with no reason why given. I have called them and the service rep had no idea why and sent an email twice to the fraud support team and I haven't heard back from anyone. The wait on the phone is usually 45 minutes and I think they do that so callers will just give up and go away. I am sure they know they have a problem with dishonest employees with access to gift card numbers and thei security codes. Stay away from tis company at all costs.

this place is nothing but fraud experts....i think all the people that have been ripped off by them should get together and file a class action suit against this bogus company! anybody else willing? Lets do it.I purchased 2 of incomm's visa cards from target for our vacation...well when we went to use them their balances were $0. Have gone through all the channels and then some for over a month now...absolutley 0 return. So I contacted my bank and they are filing a claim also. As i purchased them with my Debit card. I believe, with the resp[onse i received from Target's Manager after we came back from our vacation...I think Target is a player in this game they play.

My boss gave us our Christmas bonus with is gift card I was super excited when to Dick's sporting good and purchased a pair of 25 dollar pants and then went right next door to target and finish my shopping and it kept declining so I went to customer service and they tried it nothing. I am so embarrassed. I get in my car and check the balance and there was nothing. Well I listen to the transactions and there were three in a row at amazon. They made me wait 2 weeks to file a dispute and I did on Dec 28,2022 The person was very helpful I have heard from InComm once and I have emailed them over and over. I would like to know where we can go to file a lawsuit against them.

GO Shop gift card. Never again!
I bought a GO Shop gift card at a local grocery store and when I went to use it at one of merchants listed on the card (Macy's), it wasn't recognized by their system. We tried the mag strip and the bar code 3 or 4 times to no avail. I ended up using another form of payment. I called the number on the card, which is also listed on their website as the number to talk to a representative. There was no option in the menu system to talk to a person. I tried "0" which has been an standard fallback to by pass a menu system for years, but it just kept repeating the same menu. They obviously don't really want to talk to you! I finally hit the option for a stolen card and after waiting on hold for 25 minutes, I got a person! Pretty sure she was in India, I didn't ask, it really doesn't matter, but with all of the scams originating from there, it throws up a caution flag to me. I asked her who she worked for and after a hesitation, she told me InComm Financial Services, which was correct. I then made the mistake of of explaining the issue before her script was ready for it and ended up having to repeat everything 2 or 3 times. Finally, she actually tried to start addressing the problem and suggested that the mag strip was damaged. I explained that it had just been removed from it's packaging and the strip look fine, so after trying it several times, the clerk scanned the bar code and that none of that worked. She then said that I should have used the chip reader even after I explained that it had no chip.
All she could do was tell me the balance and that it was active, all of which was readily available on the website. She obviously didn't have the tools or training to research the problem. She also said there was no one else to transfer me to and offered to replace the card since it was damaged. It wasn't, but I finally gave in gave her my mailing address so she could send another card, since that seemed all that she was capable of.
I apologized profusely for my attitude and asked her to please pass my complaints to the company. She said she would, but I doubt she even had the ability to do so.
In summary, TERRIBLE TERRIBLE customer service! Poorly trained customer service people and seemingly no way to pass the call to anyone else. That tells me that InComm Financial Servies and Go-Giftcards really don't care about customer service and only do the bare minimum.
I never did find out if the problem was the card or Macy's since customer service lacked the tools and other avenues to find out.
I originally did this review on Go-Shop Gift card, but this looks like the more appropriate place.

Looks like the same experience for every customer. I got a $250.00 gift card around December 2022 and spent $170ish. Went to buy food at Walmart and, the money was gone. Investigated it and the money was spent at Blizzard Entertainment at 3am. I was sleeping. Filed the claim and here we are about 90 days later and the investigation is still going on.
We liberated Kuwait in 100 hours. When a company needs 90 day to investigate, they have no intentions on doing justice.
Contact me and we can get a class action lawsuit going and cut into their billion dollar company.
AMEX gift cards with zero balance. Fraud.
I purchased $2400 of AMEX gift cards directly from AMEX (shipped FedEx) and have been made aware that InComm sells the cards. The balance on most cards as I or recipients have opened them is zero. Horrifying, devastating, humiliating (for me and to all the recipients). AMEX customer service was dismissive and told me it's the responsibility of InComm to resolve. I have written emails, left voicemails and sent letters. Nothing happened.

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with this fraud of a company, my experiences are exactly the same as all of the reviews regarding the theft of my giftcard bought from target, I’ve been trying to resolve this for a year now but I don’t give up, I email them every single day asking how this is proceeding and I get the generic response it takes 90 days but it’s been a year. I ask to speak to supervisors and they never come on the phone, I waited 3 hours one time waiting for a supervisor but again they never came on the phone, I asked to speak to the dispute team but I was told they don’t have phones, that’s just laughable. My advice,,don’t buy a visa gift card from target because the money will be stolen before you even try to use it. I wish I knew how to make this company accountable for the theft they are being allowed to take from gifts given to people.

Visa gift card bought at Target store. I bought total 4 cards of $100 each and 2 of $50 each. When we attempted to use it about about 6 weeks later, it showed $0 balance. I just filed a complaint and was given a dispute # by InComm. Given several complains listed here, I am eager to hear back from InComm on next steps to resolve my dispute
SCAM! BEWARE!
If I can give zero star I will! This company and the vanilla prepaid product is a complete SCAM! I don't know how are they still operating. My co worker and I were both gifted avanilla prepaid mastercard with supposed 200$ in it. When I tried to use it, it was declining and so I checked the balance online with an error over and over. I called customer service and got through after almost an hour of waiting just to find out that someone already used the 200 somewhere before I even got the card. And now my balance is zero. My coworker also called and was told that her card has zero balance and was not activated at all. Both of us have an open dispute and still waiting. Probably waiting for nothing at this point. I learned that lots of people were also scammed.

Vanilla Gift Cards are fraudulent. I received one as a gift, never opened it, tried to check balance online at their own website, it shows an error, you wait 2 hours for someone in India to answer the call and they ask you to send your driver's license, receipt, etc. Are you kidding me? You already are proving your whole system is junk and now you want a receipt I don't have and my personal info? It's laughable. Buy an Amazon card instead.

Customer service wait time 25-45 mins AND THEY WILL HANG UP ON YOU. Nobody wants to take disputes as they want to answer as many calls as possible quickly. They try forwarding you to the merchant. Horrible experience! Shame on Incomm, Target, Walmart, etc. for not doing enough to protect consumers from this fraud and abuse!!!!

Was given a $500 gift card and $499 was stolen. Called, put on hold for over 30 minutes. Finally was emailed a dispute form and told I’d have to wait 90 days for review. This was to be my Christmas present money. The more I complain, the more people I find who have been scammed. Don’t buy these cards!
