I was given a $150 Vanilla gift card…
I was given a $150 Vanilla gift card for Christmas last year in December.. (2023)
I went this year to make a purchase in the store and the card did not work (I opened the card’s package in the store)
I came home .. and I checked it online to just realized that the card WAS USED IN NOVEMBER!! and the balance is ZERO..
I phone the company INCOMM and told me that they will give me the refund in 8 Months.. (this was April 2024) Now it is DECEMBER 2024 I phoned the company and I was told that I should send pictures of the card and prove of my address., and that I will receive a response in THREE DAYS .. well it is 10 days and I HAVE NOT RECEIVED any notification..
It is very hard because I fell embarrassed to tell the family that gave me the card about this ..
just to make them feel terrible.
These people knows what they are doing and reading the others reviews I can see clearly that THEY ARE THIEVES!!!!
Company and Customer Service Is…
Company and Customer Service Is HORRIBLE! I will be complaining to the BBB .
This company is a complete ripoff
This company is a complete ripoff. I was given a $100.00 gift card and the next day someone went to a Target store and somehow spent all of my money. I reported it to InComm and after several months still have no resolve to the issue. The customer service department is a complete waste of time. I wish I could give them a negative rating because a one star is to much.
Before you buy a Gift Card
Beware before your next Gift Card Purchase, had a horriable experence with "Give the Gift of Choice" Company Incomm Payments:
Elderly relative purchased a gift card as a gift (lost the receipt). But the store didn't activate or did in error. I submitted all the pictures and information to this company and have been going back and forth for Months. They will not honor it; terrible customer service through out the whole experience. It's one minimal dollar amount card that anyone attempting fraud the company wouldn't spend months trying to do so. BUYERS Beware of "Give the Gift of Choice" gift cards!
Glad I'm Not The Only One
On September 4th I deposited $426 on the MyVanilla debit card I was using at the time. After getting home, I took a nap. Around 5pm, my text message alert went off but I didn't check it. At 7pm I finally woke up & checked the text. It said IVR Transfer from Visa ending in **** to another Visa. My anxiety went into overdrive & I immediately contacted MyVanilla customer service while logging into the MyVanilla app on my phone. When I saw my transaction list, I was shocked. In August I deposited a little over $120 on my account. I made a $100 online shopping purchase & didn't touch the remaining balance. Yet on August 24th, the same day I made the online shopping purchase, someone charged a purchase from Domino's Pizza twice that day to my card. Then there was a charge to Whitepages.com that I never made. On September 4th, that same day I deposited the $426, not even 3 hours later there was another Domino's Pizza charge. Mind you, these Domino's Pizza charges happened in different states. The transaction listed the store number for each Domino's and I had to do a Google search to find that out. At 5pm, the transfer was made & all my money was taken from my account. Incomm investigated it, asked for identity confirmation, pictures of the compromised card front & back, they closed my account, they sent me a new MyVanilla debit card & eventually I got a refund for $421. I was able to deposit money on the new card they sent me but recently I was told they can't close my account until all the funds on the card are depleted. It's only $6.60, I really don't care about it. After what I've been through with this company and their cards, I just want the account closed, I want to cut up the card and move on. I never found out who it was that stole my money but I have a gut feeling that it was an employee on the inside because who else would know the exact date and amount of money I deposited on that card? A quick Google search of MyVanilla or Incomm leads you to thousands of reviews from people who have experienced this same problem. They're gifted a Visa gift card, only for the funds to be drained off the card before they can even use it. The cards are being used in completely different states than the person who physically has the card & unfortunately some people haven't been reimbursed. They're still getting the run around over a problem that they didn't cause or ask for. I cried when this situation happened to me. As I told the MyVanilla representative, I needed that money. I'm not rich. I'm taking care of my mother who has stage 4 cancer. I didn't & don't need to be in the hospital right next to her because someone pushed me over the edge. It's a shame how easily people can take advantage of others & be able to sleep at night because they don't feel guilt or remorse for anything.
I have tried for three … poor card service
I have tried for three days to use the card and it has been declined every time .. with a hundred bucks on the card it was declined for a $65 purchase .. using this card is terrible Noone to speak with just automated computer
Incomm is a FRAUD

Wish I could give 0 stars
Wish I could give 0 stars. This company is a ripoff and strings you along and no matter what is requested, it's never enough. Do not spend your money here, you won't see a dime.
I hope I can vote for Zero Star

I bought 10 prepaid visa cards from the Circle K store (near Calgary Chinook). only four are activated. but ALL cards' receipts print "Activated". so you think you bought 10 activated cards, but when I try to use these cards, cannot be accepted. called customer service, and told me six cards had not been activated. it's really rip-off people. the Circle K store manager is so rude, and refuses to admit their system has a problem. never go to this store again(close Calgary chinook, store #22128). never buy Vanilla card.
Incomm/Vanilla Gift Cards are the worst!
Had a $200 gift card. Entire balance stolen on the day I activated the card. Incomm strung me along for months with a load of lies and misinformation. Better Business Bureau is just as bad. They don't think Incomm has to attempt to reconcile the account. Incomm gave me a bogus website for the company that took my money (miyaai.com). The website is foreign, has no way to contact anyone and Incomm never tried to contact them or rectify my problem. The sad part is that these gift cards (VanillGift.com) are sold on military installations. Terrible experience. Do not buy their products
INCOMM seems to be the scam themselves
We bought 2 tickets for the match of Connecticut VS Indiana to see Cathelin Clark play Basket ball in Montville, CT.
We paid via Paypal, and got a confirmation of :
1/ Paypal that money was paid
2/ Confirmation of Go Ticket, that we had bought 2 tkts.
I have screenshots that I can show you, the proof of above
Then we did not receive any tickets so while we were travelling, driving the 2 hrs to Montville, we looked on internet to get the number of Go-tickets and were referred to Ticket master.
At Ticket master, a gentleman (Nicolas Collins tel: 877 706-7208 told us the Paypal payment did not go through and he could only give us the tickets if we paid again and did it to Ticketmaster, as Go-tickets passed through TicketMaster to give out tickets and we had to create an electronic wallet. We checked that online and indeed Ticketmaster had electronic wallets, so we went ahead. They said they had problems with the government, so they could not ask Credit card data via Phone, so we needed to stop on the way and get an Amazon or E-bay gift voucher to pay at CBS, Wallgreens or other shops, we found a Stop & Shop along the route. We had to get one of 200$, to validate an electronic wallet it had to have 200 $. Well since some US banks ask 10K and plus to open an account we thought that that was ok. So, we bought a Gift voucher for 160 $ and one for 200 $. We had to scratch them and give the number to Ticket master, and the second voucher only had 9 digits instead of 13 so they told us it was invalid, so I went back to the shop and got a refund and bought a new one. We gave the two numbers and then asked for the tickets the man said he was checking with the Billing department and awaiting the funds to come through. We were rushing him, as it was already 7pm, when the game started, and we had arrived at the venue. He then said the payment did not go through, it seemed the Vouchers were faulty and "that happens", and since we already had one, that had only 9 digits instead of 13, we believed it, but then he said we needed to get more vouchers, and then we stopped, as we by then had already missed more then half of the game and we saw no shop right around and started to find this all too much. He did call us back 2 x but we did not Pick up.
The next day we drove back (1 hr) to Stop & Shop and stop. To ask for a refund since the gift vouchers did not go through. Stop & Shop manager told us when we gave her all vouchers and receipts she needed to check with their distributor : INCOMM gift card. She called us back a few hours later, and told us, they could not refund us, as the gift vouchers were redeemed. She said that we needed to call Incomm ourselves directly and they would be able to give us where the cards were redemmed and by whom. she did her best. We drove back 1 hour a rthird time, in te evening, again to get back our original receipts and gift vouchers.
The next morning, today June 12th,
I called Incomm Gift Card at at 10:30am and spoke to a Cherry who refused to give me her last name. She said they could do nothing to help me, and I shoud call E-Bay.I told her there was no tel number for E-bay and they were the distributor, so make money on these Gift
cards, so I expect some customer service, and Stop & Shop said they would help me, after S & S called them earlier. well I lost 560$ and no help waht so ever !
Received a vanilla visa gift card for…
Received a vanilla visa gift card for $100, upon checking balance this card was used.
Apparently part of a scam due to incomm lack of tamper proof packaging.
This company makes sure you have to jump through ropes and try to speak to a human.
Many class action lawsuits have already been filed.
I gave a 1 start because I couldn't give them a -5 star
Frauds
Frauds. They said they would send me a replacement card but never arrived. The one I got was tampered deliberately and didn't work.
I WISH THERE WAS AN OPTION FOR 0 STARS…
I WISH THERE WAS AN OPTION FOR 0 STARS . WE HAVE BEEN TRYING TO STEUP AN ACCOUNT FOR MORE THAN 2 MONTHS WE HAVE WRITEN SEVERAL EMAILS AND THEY HAVE TAKEN ANY OF THEM SERIOUSLY AND WE HAVE FINALLY GIVEN UP WITH THIS GARBAGE THERE PRODUCTS ARE JUST COLLECTING DUST SITIING THERE. WE EVEN CALLED THEM AND THEY JUST TOOK IT LIGHTLY THERE REP ARE SUPERLAZY AND WE EVEN EMAILED THE MANGER AND HE DID NOTHING!!!!!!!
Nothing but CROOKS!
In short they closed out my gift cards, $1500 worth, and strung me along for over a month only to be told by one customer rep that another claim was recently filed against the cards and paid out and told later by an individual that they could not see that the cards ever existed. What a scam of an outfit! I am preparing to seek other and all ways to shed light on who they are and how to get my $$ back.
Incomm Is a Scam Company - Do Not Buy Giftcards
I received a $200 Vanilla PrePaid gift card and when I went to use it at the store realized that the expiry date had passed. I called the number on the card and spoke to someone at Incomm and they told me no problem we will mail you a new card. They asked for my full name, address, date of birth and numbers on my existing card.... After 6 weeks I did not receive replacement cardand called them again. they had all my previous info I provided and assured me I will be receiving card shortly. After another 3 weeks I called again and they informed me that the replacement card they had mailed me no longer has funds on it because they were used. I explained that I never received card - I now had to register a case dispute to try and recover the funds that someone used on the card that was re-issued to me and that I never used. I honestly feel that every time I call to follow up that they know they are scamming me. After 3 months of waiting for my case dispute to be reviewed they sent me a very unofficial looking email that states they could only re-imburse me $55.00 at this time. By some miracle I received the card in the mail, BUT once I tried to activate it, it was not working. I called again, person told me don't worry, card will work. With very little confidence I attempted to use the card for a purchase and it did not go through. I called them again and for 1 hour they were transferring me to other assistants and eventually they dropped the call. How is this happening, this company is a total fake and there is no way out of this vicious cycle of taking advantage of cardholders.
Incomm is a scam organization
I received a $250 card as a gift and when I went to use it I was denied in line and embarrassed when the card should have way more than needed for the purchase. So I called the customer service line and was told they can't activate anything after making their money on the card that was purchased... I had to send ID in as well as pictures of the card by email and I'm waiting to hear back from them which by the reviews will likely be a bad experience which ends with them stealing the money on the card. It's gotta be inside, the card wasn't used by myself or my gf as we just opened the package and left home to use it. This company should be shut down and investigated for fraud.
I had purchased the SERVE Pay As You Go…
I had purchased the SERVE Pay As You Go VISA re-loadable debit card in order to make an online purchase. When using the card for my purchase online and the payment was declined. So, I had called the SERVE customer service. SERVE customer service told me that for online purchases I have to register the card online at the SERVE website. So, I go to their website. Midway through the registration process I decided NOT to. For the registration, besides your name and street address, they want your birth date and social security number. Just enough to commit IDENTITY THEFT. Now why would I voluntarily give that info to a company that may disappear over night.
complaint on Incomm who treats customers unfairlyly.
On Aug 11th, I went to Target to purchase 15 chairs for an upcoming event held at my house. A friendly Target employee introduced me to the Red Reloadable card saying that there is a promotion going on that if I open an account, I will get a $50 promotion coupon to spend. Since I had to make the purchase anyway, I was very happy that I could make my purchase through Red Reloadable so I could have an extra 50 dollars to spend. Well, the idea is great but reality didn't work that way. First I put $300 into the Reloadable (max amount allowed) and then I put another $50.00 in the reloadable. The $ 300 wasn't funded to my account like it evaperated. My account showed only $50.00. I wasnt able to make the purchase with 50 bucks. After a tedious dispute process, and waiting of more than two weeks the 300 was eventually funded back into my account, but I was out of the country by then. The red Reloadable policy is that the purchase must be made within 45 days after the account is open. so I missed the deadline all because they messed up with my funding. I called customer service and was told that the promotion would be deposited into my account in a couple of days. I didn't see it. I called again and was told to wait for another couple of days. Then I got to talk to Alexa, "the highest level Red Reloadable representative I could reach through the phone" who denied my $50 promotion because "you disqualified yourself by missing making the purchase within 45 day" This is how Red Reloadable conducts their business. First they messed up with the funding not only having caused great inconveniences to me ( i need 15 chairs to hold the event) but also having caused me not being able to satisfy the timely purchase requirement for insufficient funds in my account and now they have the customer bear the consequences of their incompetence. what an unfair market place. I asked the "highest level" Alexia that I would like to speak with her supervisor. She refused to provide me with the information. So far this is what I have experienced after I opened the RED Reloadable. I always like Target but now it seems that Target has chosen a bad partner to conduct their business with. Incomm is a very unprofessional, deceptive and unfair market place. Do NOT do any business with them.
Sincerely
I would rate a 0 if I could they take…
I would rate a 0 if I could they take your money and run
