Good charcoal is important if you’re serious about the quality of what comes off your barbecue. This lot have got you covered. I was a chef and am still fussy about details where food is concerned.

We have worked long and hard to find the best procurers in the land who are able to supply the quantities that we need but there are a host of other local small batch producers who we must also shout out to - we hail them all and are grateful for what they do for our forests, all the way through to our grills.

Love the product burns so nice and…
Love the product burns so nice and clean and you get the authentic smell of burning hardwood adding flavour to the meat. Easy to control the heat and move the meat to the cooler areas to prevent burning. I have bought whittle a flame charcoal before and found that really good but I tried a different product because of unavailability of whittle and flame and the British hardwood charcoal is just as good as an alternative.

super slick - now that's a great way to describe your experience and we are very grateful for your comments. It means a lot to receive such acknowledgement when we work so hard to deliver the best possible service.
Charcoal is the most important ingredient and it is heightened when used on certain barbecues - not least the Egg. Kamados respond well to great charcoal but use the wrong one (garage forecourt or instant light (shudder)) and you'll never get the patrol taste out of the ceramic, so a great call to use the very best.

As well as other barbecues, we do pay a lot of attention to the performance of our charcoals in Kamado's and have to say they are complete game changers compared to many Kamado own brand charcoals. Whether you are searing on high heat or taking the low and slow route, our charcoals perform at their very peak and with a low flavour profile, suits many people perfectly as the flavour of the food shines through.
Of course you can add smoking chunks if you want added flavour, as it's easy to add flavour in but impossible to take flavour out!
