House Of-tweed 

I went into the shop with my friend and we were told aggressively to ‘ get out ‘ and we believe this is because of our age suggesting that they’re ageist. We had no food and no drinks we were just simply looking at the bedsheets and trying to get the wifi to message my friends mother so we could decide on a product. I am utterly disgusted.

Hello House of Tweed, you guys owe me an item. I have gone to your store in Birmingham and it’s closed. I returned a faulty item to you which I bought on the 26th of December 2024, got a call to say I will be notified when the item is ready. No call back since then, no item, shop is closed. If this is the right business, kindly share a contact number.

Purchased a number of scarfs while in Scotland. Absolutely disgusted that what I thought was a genuine Scottish made product turns out to be made in PRC (People Republic China)

Couldn't help but notice this tiny black label on the product and felt very misled. Especially when it has a House of Tweed Labeling and also tagging to make it look like a luxurious product!

I sent some scarfs as Christmas presents and feel embarrassed now.

I will not be purchasing anything from House of Tweed Again!

I received a beautiful hand made hat from House of Tweed and beautiful tartan throw . Had a terrible year in 2024 and this cheered me up so much . Hat is such good quality complete with feather I can put in the side . Really delighted with it and going to wear it tomorrow when my Son takes me to lunch at a five star restaurant . Thank you

Appalling customer service. So rude. The attitude of the shop assistant was extremely rude and aggressive. Simply tried to exchange a jumper and this was refused in such terms. Will never shop there again.

Rude and offensive staff , it must be their regulation training . Avoid this company like the plague.

House of Tweed purports to be a luxury brand. My brother sent me a wrap for my birthday (suspect he re-gifted it and was an unwanted present his wife received!). It still had all its labels on so did a bit of research to see if I could perhaps get an exchange but after reading reviews about unhelpful staff at shops and lack of contact details on the site I will probably send it to the charity shop. Not only is the wrap 50% polyester and 50% viscose rather than the wool blend I would have expected, it has been made in China. Therefore this is not the business its name and website suggests.

Absolutely great clothing and accessories shop, lovely staff very helpful with loads of range. Loved it!!

Firstly the woman who served me was eating crisps, licked her fingers then proceeded to put my scarf in a bag only for me to get home and find it has a fault all the way through it! Impossible to contact anyone!

Used to buy from here but now noticed styles and colours are dowdy and quality very poor. Seems they have got too big too equidistant and forgotten about customer satisfaction.

I wanted to express how much these two ladies have made my day at your Eastbourne branch. I'm someone who's very self conscious and never really felt comfortable getting dresses. A lady called Emma helped me pick out outfits, she was extremely patient and understanding about my emotions. She made me feel special and very pretty and I honestly would've left empty handed if it wasn't for her. Another lady, Lesley who was also working at the store was extremely supportive and made me feel confident about my physique.

I simply cannot express how happy I am. I left the store feeling like a new person in the best of ways!!! I've never experienced customer service this spectacular in all my life. I cannot thank them enough for what they did.

I visited the new to Eastbourne House of Tweed store this week and was delighted to be helped by two knowledgeable staff. They found for me just the right outfit and matching necklace for a special occasion. I appreciated that they knew the stock and understood what I was hoping to find. I was able to try it on and am now a very happy customer. My dress was not tailored but basic in style and, as someone who sews, I would say hastily put together, but the fabric and colours were just perfect. I couldn’t have made it for the price I paid. The stock is mostly cotton viscose dresses, tops and bottoms for a layered look, ie. Lagenlook outfits and generally one size fits all, or medium and large. They also have French styles and Indian silk. I’m a size 24 but found several items suitable and I will definitely return.

I bought some dungarees and a blouse in October 2022 at the Yate store (now closed). Wore each a few times before washing, however after the first wash (i always do a cold wash), the dungarees grew - became much wider, but shorter and the blouse shrank and is now too small! I took the dungarees in and wore them 3/4 length so not to waste them. Just washed them for a second time, and they have stretched again and some of the stitching on the lower leg seams (original stitching, not mine) have come away. I really don't want to have to get my sewing machine out every time I wash them abd the blouse was a complete waste of money. It's not as though the clothing was cheap, but clearly the quality is! Very dissatisfied with them.
The staff however, were lovely.

It seems reviews for House-of-Tweed range from great to crap. Our experience is that we bought two tops at their stall at the Sudeley Castle event on 29th April 2023. The staff were pleasant and helpful but there was nowhere to try them on, but so far so good, but when we got home my wife found that they were too small. I've been trying to contact them ever since via email and on the mobile number on their website to return the items and get a refund but without success, and you don't even get the courtesy of a response. They clearly don't give a s**t and my advice to others is to avoid these thieves like the plague. And if they ever do respond and refund the money then I'll change this review, but until then, don't do business with them.

Disgusting attitude on staff in the Cardiff branch. Allowing children to use the tills too. I wish I hadn't given them my money now.

Love the House of Tweed - As a Londoner visiting it was like an Aladins cave of goodies. Great sale

Great service. Strongly advise anyone to go. I just sent my partner in to buy some scarves for gifts as they are such a great price and fabulous quality

Absolutely appalled at the blatant change of prices ...I work in st davids centre ...every week I would pop into the store to look at the bobble hats ...priced at £10 ...today I popped in and there is a sign sale now on ...was £15 now £10 ...every week I went in ..and now the gentleman is telling me ..no they were always £15 ....NO THEY WERE NOT ...they were on a stand at the back clearly marked £10 ...I find this utterly appalling...

Absolutely awful customer service! Never been spoken to so rudely and by the store manager/business owner. Will never shop there again and disgusted with the language spoken to me all because I wanted to exchange something and said "crikey" when she was so rude! I was told to F off and made to leave the shop!!! Left the place in tears. Was approached by a customer after and she was shocked by the way I was treated and said her friend was also treated the same way previously!

Bought 2 summer dresses. Brought them to NZ with me on holiday. One in pink and one in blue. The dye just runs out of them. I washed the pink one in with light colours and everything in the wash is now pink. I hand washed the blue one and the problem was the same. The label says 100% cotton. Wouldn’t buy again. They should make you aware of this when purchasing.
