House Of-tweed 

I had a very pleasant experience twice in two days in the new shop in Cardiff .First I bought a lovely olive green fedora and went back the next day for green tweed handbag to match .The gentleman that served us couldn't have been pleasanter ,a pleasure to buy something from him A shame we don't live in Cardiff ,just visiting,as I would buy more things .No excuse we'll just have to visit Cardiff again 😉

I purchased a beige polo neck jumper from the Yate store. £40 was handwritten on the label. On the reverse of the label was a sticker stating £30. She charged me £40. I queried when I paid and she said not in the sale. I stupidly paid. When I left the shop I looked at the label again and returned to the store showing her the label. She said the sticker of £30 is wrong. I charge the handwritten price and its my writing so I know its right! I pointed out that all these jumpers in this part of the store of this type have the same sticker. She wouldn't budge. So I am reporting them to trading standards. Be warned. Check how much they charge when you buy. They appear to charge you full price on sale items and chat to you so you don't notice. They don't give refunds so you are screwed.

I have just visited house of tweed Worcester and have never been spoken too so rudely and disrespectfully in a store before ever!
The gentleman was rude, condescending and it was like he didn't want my business.
He even commented " I don't give jack Sh**t"
If this is the way your company wants come across no wonder no one was in there.
I left with no bag or receiving a receipt for my purchase. Bad customer service to say the least.
I won't be back.

I’m going to Cheltenham races tomorrow so I went into House of Tweed in Hereford yesterday and bought a tweed poncho to wear.

I’ve never been to the races before, will probably never go again and so my friend kindly lent me something else to wear so I could return the poncho which cost me £60 of my hard earned cash.

Unfortunately when I returned to the store they said they had a no refunds policy.

I don’t see why, if I’ve changed my mind and am giving them their goods back in a saleable condition, I shouldn’t be entitled to have my own money back.

I’m now left with a poncho I don’t even want and I’m £60 out of pocket.

Their other reviews are less than glowing too so it’s not just me who’s disgruntled.

I went into the Yate store with my wife to change a garment as the seam on the back was split. It was well over the 14 days stipulated as the returns policy but my wife had put it by to wear for the Autumn. She hadn't spotted it till then.
We realise and accept the returns policy but there was no need to be aggressive and rude we only asked nicely.
The manageress was really rude and when my wife calmly said she wanted to ask a question about something else, she said "no" and walked off! She ought to be sacked looking at all the other comments! They could do much better than her in there.
My advice you have been warned!

I love this shop in Taunton, Somerset. The owner is so helpful, but it's the colourful and bo ho clothing that is wonderful and do reasonably priced.

Popped into the new Yate store today with my mother and experienced the most rude and aggressive sales assistant. We only asked if there was a fitting room and about the sizing. We put back over £100 worth of clothes and will not be visiting the store again.

There is a new House of Tweed opened in Worthing West Sussex. I popped in today to ask what is the smallest size jumper they do, only to be told they don't do sizes they are all one size ! I couldn't believe her reply. So no matter if you are size 6 or 20 apparently one size fits all (NOT) Absolutely crazy idea. There are loads of jumpers & tops in store but when looking up online no tops & only poncho's all out of stock, do not understand the website listing. I will go back to look at other items for sale but jumpers are a definite no no.....

I can't believe how I've been spoken to by a sales assistant at the Yate house of tweed today. I quite liked their clothes and I asked a perfectly polite question.
The woman working there just started being aggressive and rude to me. Two other people witnessed this and we all left the shop never to return again!

I returned a dress because the seam was splitting, the sales woman was very aggressive, saying loudly that it was not a fault in the garment ..dreadful attitude.
I will definitely not be shopping there again..friends have also commented that this person is quite unpleasant to customers.

If there was a MINUS STAR rating that is exactly what The House Of Tweed would get from me.
I purchased a blue jumper with scarf at the Malvern Show this year from the only man on the stall at the time, I paid him in cash and he did not give me a receipt. The first time I wore it was on 2nd June and the blue colour ran into my white jeans and my chair covering. I have tried to call the 2 numbers shown on their website, the landline is disconnected and the mobile is not being answered. Despite leaving 2 messages on their mobile I have not received a response. It is worse! the email addresses are not being responded to either. I returned the jumper by post four weeks ago and I have not received a reply! On the 12th June I sent my local shop in Worcester a copy of my letter that I had enclosed with the jumper asking them to follow up with a member of their management and have not received a reply from them either! I am now going to contact our local retail organisation with my complaint. I think the company's performance and attitude towards me as a customer is despicable!! Annette Adey

Very bad. Do not order online. Order placed on hold fpr no apparent reason, no communications, phone number doesn't work. Emailed for a refund and that was also ignored. I have no product and can't get my money back. Very unhappy.

Visited the Worcester branch fantastic service lovely couple, brought a lovely dress

Lady assistant excellent, really helpful, suggesting items I would never have thought suited me - but did. Very fairly priced. Never been in there before as thought it was only for smaller people but no, fits larger sizes too. The scarves, limited selection, good quality. Will shop there again.

I’ve had a lovely experience in this shop and the lady who runs it is fantastic and very lovely. I have came to review this shop due to the fact I saw her be slated on a selling site on Facebook? Ridiculous, I think some customers expect to “vape” or be abrupt in the shop and then be killed with kindness. Every single time I’ve came into the shop, I’ve had a great friendly chat and brought lovely things and she’s been super chatty and to the point of being so lovely in gifting me a present for my mum who is unwell. Reading the reviews on this page really just shows me who are the common moaners of society!
