Hopper failed to book my reservation with the hotel so we had to drive the 4 hours home. Hopper is laying the blame on the hotel, stating the hotel says we were a no show and they charged my card and are refusing a refund. However, it was in fact Hopper who charged my card. I spoke to the hotel myself and after reading other reviews, Hopper is definitely lying. I paid $103 and received nothing!! I would not recommend using Hopper for anything...they are scaming people!

I had a trip booked round-trip to San Francisco from Portland and apparently they use their own personal credit card to pay the actual airline (Frontier). Well it was declined. And flagged. And so my entire flight was canceled. Since the flight was in just over 2 weeks, finding a trip for that price is IMPOSSIBLE. I'm not happy.

A week ago, I booked a flight with the option to receive a 100% refund upon cancellation at any time, for any reason. Just a few hours later, I already knew I wouldn’t need the flight. However, the link they provided didn’t work. After contacting them, I was told that I needed to contact the airline to cancel the flight. The airline said no, that Hopper had to handle it. After much back-and-forth and their non-working link, they finally promised me a refund.
I have to email them daily for updates, and their explanation is always: "We are coordinating this with our partner." Which partner? How long can this take? I have already spent days dealing with a service I paid for, and all I can say is that I am deeply disappointed. Now I come here and read the rest of the negative reviews. This concerns a flight costing over €1000.
Edit: I have been in communication with them voor over a week! They only tell me "thank you for your patience", "we understand this is frustrating", "we are taking the necessary steps", etc. but no actual refund! Asking sneaky questions, like "did you file a claim with your bank? this is important for us to know how to proceed now". What do you mean? Just refund me! How does all this experience alleviate any of my travel stress? You are the cause of all the stress regarding this purchase!
Edit 2: I changed my rating from 1 to 2 stars because they eventually issued a refund. Too bad it came after a chain of 46 emails, a week full of stress, unclear communication, and broken links... I do NOT recommend...

Beware of price freeze! They send you notifications as tho your freeze is active, and yet when I went to book my flight was “sold out”?! Even tho it most definitely was not. I called support who basically told me the freeze is actually on a ticket provided by a 3rd party. Those tickets run out. However hopper does not notify you that this is the case or that the tickets are running low. I’m lucky I even checked. Support essentially told me to go fms
To be crystal clear- my freeze was not expired. Hopper allows your frozen ticket options to sell out without notifying you whatsoever that this is the case and your freeze is essentially useless.

Terrible experience. Quoted me a price for a car rental with no mention of additional fees and taxes. When I arrive at car rental counter, car rental co. charges me an additional $177 in taxes and fees. Thrifty would not honor Hopper's "total price." Hopper is a scam and the customer service is extremely poor. Save yourself the trouble and do not use hopper.

Niet doen! Via budgetair deze annuleringsverzekering afgesloten. Helaas moeten we door ziekte van mijn vader, de reis annuleren.
Bij het aangaan van de verzekering wordt vermeld dat je 24 uur van te voren de ticket kan annuleren. Dat blijkt dus niet te zijn. De uiterste termijn van annuleren blijkt augustus te zijn..
De klantenservice is in het Engels en zijn weinig behulpzaam, ik wordt slechts verwezen naar de kleine letters in de algemene voorwaarden.

I would give zero stars if I could. Do not use this company at all.
This was my first time using Hopper. I bought tickets from Buenos Aires to Rosario for December 14th. The airport in Rosario will be closed starting September 20th.
I reached out to Hopper to let them know, and they told me I needed to contact the airline. I did, and the airline informed me that they had canceled my flight, so I no longer have a reservation with them.
I called Hopper again, and they told me I needed to wait until September 20th. So I called today to check what’s going on, since my reservation still shows as active on their website—even though the airline canceled the flight a month ago.
Hopper told me that refunds would begin on the 20th, but the agent said they didn’t see anything in the system. They told me to call the airline to change my flight to a different city. I explained that I couldn’t do that because my reservation was canceled by the airline, so I don’t have any flight or booking anymore.
After receiving no help, I decided to file a fraud claim with my credit card company.

Hopper is the actual worst company. They charged me TWICE for a flight from Bali- Manila on the exact same day and won’t issue a refund! I’ve spoken to 3 customer service agents and all won’t issue a refund. I will NEVER Use Hopper again in my life! Absolutely crap

Extremely poor service and customer support. Highly disappointed.
They have some intermediate third party which even mess up with your name and contact details on the airline website. Also, they won’t support the cancellation even within less than 24 hours. I almost lost the price for 2 flights for 2 persons.
Fortunately, I reached out to Airlines directly and was able to get it cancelled. However, even after airline process the refund, it may took hours of calls and multiple follow ups with Hopper support to get this issued from their end.
This portal is BIG RED flag, will strongly discourage using their platform.

Booked transfers from Airport to Hotel, our flight was delayed so we called immediately to inform them of this.
They said as we were within 5 hours of the pick up the booking could not be amended and we would not get a refund.
Incredibly unhelpful customer service and such poor policy that means we are out of pocket £100 and now have no transport
EDIT: I am unable to contact you on these numbers. Is there an email address I can use.

I wish I could give this app 0 stars and prevent anyone else from using it. They will scam you and act like they’re trying to help you. Made a reservation the day of, as they were advertising a,”total cost, no hidden fees,” deal, only to find out there were hidden fees that were almost double what I already paid. The supervisor Edgar is completely useless and provided no help except, “sending emails.” Please save your money and don’t let hopper scam you like they scammed me.

0 stars if I could. Booked a reservation 6 months in advance and when I got to the hotel they told me hopper cancelled the reservation 3 separate times. I was never notified of this nor did I get a refund. Talked to customer service rep and they said they’d reinstate the reservation with the hotel. Received new confirmation number saying it was done and still no reservation. Had to contact hopper CS AGAIN which was also a pain just to get someone on the phone. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH HERE IF YOU CAN HELP IT. So not worth it. We’ve been waiting an hour just to get this sorted out and it still isn’t. This is the last thing you want to have to deal with on vacation.

Wow. Hopper responded to my message but refuses to speak to me on the phone saying I didn't confirm my return flight and yet I have emails confirming my flights a week before I left. (I bought the tickets 8 months in advance. So one of two things happened. They messed up my booking (since half on my flight was confirmed and half was pending as noted by the airline when I called them) or they just took my money and did not refund the flight that I "did not confirm." So which is it? I didn't confirm or you stole my money? Because it can't be both. And I have all the emails.

I had a terrible experience with Hopper. I booked a hotel in Turkey through their app, but when I arrived the hotel told me there was no reservation under my name. Hopper never sent the booking to the hotel. I had to pay again out of my own pocket just to get a room. This is unacceptable – zero accountability. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from Hopper. They ruined the start of my trip. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I cant rate it any lower. They took my money. Never gave me a confirmation or anything. I called hotel they had no reservations. I had to fight for an hour to get my money back. And then afterwards. They cant even get me the hotel for anywhere near the right price. And say it's my fault for not booking in time. When they took my money and never sent confirmation to the hotel.
