Do not use Hopper.com. The provide scam companies like Right Car Rental. I put on my itenary my airline ticket. My flight was delayed a hour. Upon arrival in airport I automatically called place for Wally Shuttle which is another scam place. They work together to get customer late to car rental so they can report a no show and keep money. The shuttle came one hour late and I repeatedly called them for shuttle and telling them I’m waiting for car. They were awful and didn’t care. When I finally arrived at place there zoom screen would not turn on for me but it did for others. When the finally answered me they told me I’m a no show and go back to airport they have no car for me. Do not use this company and hopper didn’t help me at all. They left me stranded and I had hopper pro. Cancelled it and taking them to court. I blame hopper.com because they provided me the service on there app. At the end hopper left me stranded and then said no refund. Never use hopper. Priceline.com saved the day

If I could give negative points I would. I booked a flight through hopper—for the first time, I decided to purchase the additional security option to cancel for any reason. I did this because my mom was in the hospital and didn’t know if she was going to be better in time for me to leave and also because I was planning on visiting my boyfriend in the Coast Guard and wasn’t 100% sure about his mission dates, as he wasn’t either. I tried to change or even cancel my round trip flights and they said I was not able to. I called customer service and they said there was a specific date I needed to cancel by, which I was never informed of. When I purchased the extra package—no date was mentioned. I explained my situation to them and they couldn’t care less. Horrific customer service experience. They literally robbed me blind of $612 during one of the worst times of my life. They wouldn’t even give me hopper credit. Never EVER use Hopper!!!

This company has false advertisement they said you can cancel with 24 hrs full refund but they are lied. They don’t even tell you right away they let you believe that it will get refunded at the end of they will refund a few dollars and give you a lot of BS reasons. And they ask you to call airlines which they are the one you book your flight. They lie on every chat I did everyday. Never use them.

Purchased the hopper flight disruption assistance via Frontier Airlines for a flight. If my flight was delayed two hours, I was supposed to be reimbursed if I chose that option. The rep consulted with frontier who said my flight was delayed by 1 hour and 59 minutes. One minute short of 2 hours. I asked her if the 2 hours was from the time of scheduled takeoff to the time of actual takeoff. She said yes but my claim was denied. I asked for a supervisor, she had to initiate an email that I had to respond to, and the supervisor would reply on the same thread (not sure if it was even a supervisor who responded. But I provided a video of proof that we indeed took off after 2 hours. They denied it and said the two hours doesn't include if you're already inside the plane not actual take off. Scam artists! Save your time and money. And Hopper, please save your generic devilish response.

Try at all costs to not use hopper comma I used them to book a round trip ticket and had problems when I was in ecuador so I could not reach them by phone
K a I gatekeeper completely blocked me from getting any information at all.I had to book on another airline to come home.As an emergency, the a I gatekeeper said, want you and started using your ticket.That the airline would not make any adjustments, but I had already contacted copa.Airline and they said they would four hundred dollar fee, but they couldn't do anything because I had gone through hopper and hopper would have to authorize it with the airline. That's all that needed to be done when I got back to the states.I contacted hopper, and I was told I would have to submit an email to have anything addressed.I've used hopper before without any problem, but I never needed them like I needed to contact them, this time, customer service is really not good with them. This little exercise cost me an extra three hundred dollars, that I really didn't have.

Terrible company, the support is 0/10!
Booked a flight for my brother which was cancelled they told me that I got my money back in credits no problem. I now book another flight (which I had to pay extra for the change even though my new flight was cheaper than my cancelled flight) they tell me the credits was meant to be for my brother and they won’t refund my new flight.
Flight was booked on my account, refund given to me and at no point in rebooking (which was done on the phone with an operator) was I told that the flight had to be for my brother.
Horrible communication and service and the support had the cheek to tell me I should have read the FAQs, why would I read FAQ if I have no questions I’ve got credits I’ve used them. Now they’ve took my money twice and I can’t fly!!
DO NOT USE THIS PLATFORM!!!!

Over the last month I booked multiple hotel stays through Hopper at 4-star resorts.
In two instances external circumstances made it impossible for me to make the reservation. In one case I even purchased the ‘cancel anytime’ product. In both these cases when I contacted Hopper, I was told that the ‘refund couldn’t be processed’ because essentially, the hotel didn’t want to. I was also told that maybe I’d have better luck if I contacted the hotel directly.
What is the purpose of a service like Hopper when their stock answer to a problem is to contact the hotel/airline directly.
Very disappointed in Hopper. This cost me about $800 in non-refunded hotel stays that I didn’t use.
I will be cancelling my account and deleting the app.
Don’t use Hopper- stick to more reputable services.

There is ONE LETTER missing in my surname. I bought the tickets with hopper, so it’s them who must add that missing letter. I’ve emailed them and called twice (really expensive call since it’s an US number), they say they will get in touch with the airline to correct the name but never call or email me back. The airline, since I bought the tickets with hopper, won’t do anything about it either. And now the just replied asking me to contact them... Unbelievable. 2 calls and 3 emails I've sent and no reply but it turns out they do reply here just to lie by saying they will contact the airline for me

Honestly 1 star is too much for our experience with Hopper. We booked a hotel stay in Edinburgh for our Christmas break and was done out of pocket for a cheaper room. We booked a big room for our stay and when we got to the hotel to check in we were given a smaller/cheaper room. We tried to get it sorted with the hotel but they were fully booked and we were told that they received the booking for the cheaper room that we were in. I showed the hotel our booking confirmation from Hopper which confirmed them that we should have been booked into the bigger room as we have suspected. The hotel gave us all the information we needed to contact Hopper in regards to being overcharged for the room we were staying in. I called Hopper on our first day of our holiday and was passed from person to person and put on hold every 2 minutes. I called 4 times that day and was charged every time due to being in the UK. Hopper reviewed our booking and admitted that they were in the wrong and offered us 15% back in a Hopper voucher (£89) into my account which I decline as we will never book through them again. I wanted the difference (£100) refunded back to my original payment card. By the end of the call I was told that someone will contact me in 45 minutes to see if they can do that or not. You can guess, I was not contacted in 45 minutes, try 11pm the next day. An absolute joke! They again told me they can only give me back 15% hopper voucher and again I told them no as I wanted the difference back. After me telling them that the line cut off and they called back with a dead line and I haven’t been contacted since. We have contacted our bank and they are currently taking legal actions on our behalf as in the UK we are covered under section 75 of consumer rights. I didn’t want all the money back to begin with, just the difference. They are absolute scammers.

I booked a hotel room on 11/29/25 put it on freeze until 12/09/25 check in dates was set for 12/24/25. on 12/14/25 I tried to cancel my reservation. I had to call there customer service what a joke that was. The customer service rep told me that it was non refundable but keep trying to offer me a 1/3 of what I paid for, but yet it was non refundable ? I looked on Hotels.com and the same room at the same hotel says full refund until the day before check in. I ask to speak with a supervisor 3 different times never spoke with a supervisor. Hopper is JOKE and a Scam don't waste your time nor money.

Scammers, thieves, crooks. There’s no other way to slice it - Hopper is absolutely the worse business one could ever go through to make accommodations for anything! Good luck ever trying to retrieve your funds when you make a transaction and there is a cancellation. It seems part of their business model is to inundate their customers with the type of ambiguous rhetoric to suit their fraudulent agenda. DO NOT USE HOPPER! Fair warning

We booked accom in Doha through Virgin Australia airline and they use Hopper. They allowed us to book a hotel in Doha that was closed for renovations and had been closed a month before we booked. Couldn’t get any help from them and they promised to get senior management to ring me but no follow up, we are AUD$1500 out of pocket as Doha accom was nearly all booked out due to two major international sporting events on when we arrived. Worst experience and now help from Hopper to find a solution from us. Don’t even know if I’ll get a refund for the accom they sold that was closed.
RESPONSE TO HOPPERS REPLY:
Well this is good to know but it would be nice if someone contacted me to assure me if this instead of being ignored and wandering what is happening. I’ve had to pay AUD$900 per night to find alternate accom without any help or further contact from you. So how about you ring me instead of me chasing you and tell me what you’re doing to sort this out.

Trash trash trash! Avoid at all cost. I hope Capitalone realizes how poor the service Hopper offers to its clients and discontinues this collaboration. Like so many others I bookee a flight via Capitalone travel. I received emails regarding multiple significant changes. After the second one capitalone said the airline would not allow them to reissue the ticket with thr change the airline supposedly made. At this point I requested an email which is what the previous emails said I was entitled to. Then the story changed and I was told that I was not entitled to a refund and the airline rejected my request for a refund also. So no rebooking and no refund on a ticket I never requested a change to be made to. Multiple escalations later and each time a different lie. I finally filed a dispute with my card company and requested all communications regarding why my flight could not be refunded be sent in writing. These people actually denied this request as well. This prompted me to contact Lufthansa again to get them to email me their denial of my request for a refund. They reported that I AM entitled to a full refund. I let them know I planned to file a complaint with DOT due to this and Lufthansa agreed to call my travel agent. Imagine my surprise when I learn that the authorized travel agent is Hopper not Capitalone. Lufthansa attempted 3 confernce calls so this could be documented but each time the call dropped after a generic voicemail. Im convinced that Hopper is an overseas scam company that some bamboozled Capitalone. I called back to capitalone travel aka hopper and let them know about calling the airline and miraculous they finally admitted that the airline is in fact saying I am entitled to a refund. Finally no more lies. If not for my persistence I would have been stuck like so many others. Now to wait another 48 hours. No matter the outcome I will continue to file complaints with consumer financial protection bureau and look into an attorney for a possible class action lawsuit and my states attorney general as suggested by someone else.Too many of us are experiencing the same scammy behavior by this company and its time more of us formally document these experiences.

Professional Scammers. They take your money for shotty services and hope you just give up and accept their willingness to do nothing to alleviate the problem. This company charged me for a 2 bedroom suite, which I had reserved, but the hotel only had reserved a one bedroom and there was no vacancies.One bedroom was 138.00 per night. I have talked to 7 different representatives attempting to retrieve the difference but end up telling me someone will be in contact with me in 24-48 hours. No contact from anyone.I have submitted emails from the hotel and Hopper has confirmed I booked a 2 bedroom suite and paid 338.81 for a 2 bedroom suite. They have no intention on helping you, read the reviews! I will continue to submit reviews as I file complaints with the BBB, federal trade commission and with the attorney general office. I have also begun recording the phone conversations with these Scammers Zero stars, one is too good for this fraudulent company.
So your remedy to alleviating the situation is for you to tell me to call the same number in which I have called 7 previous times. Same old dear John letter with no solution to the problem. I stand by previous assessment of this company Shady and professional Scammers. Apparently they are trained to keep putting off the problem hoping you're just give up. Not happening here!
