Overall fairly pleased with the experience.
Polite and positive people.
Argemary at the office did an excellent job.

A couple of cons:

When I chose the company, I thought I would work with the agent with whom I had met. After all, it was the personal experience that made me choose that company. However, after contracting them, I never saw that agent again. Instead, other agents of the company contacted me about the property. I was a bit disappointed about that, as I had not been informed that the agent with whom I had talked, would not be on the sale after contracting. I found it slightly confusing to have a number of agents as "point of contact", but not a big issue.

There were also some other disappointing facts, but overall they didn't matter much.

Home Espana assisted us in the purchase of our Campo home near Chiva. Andy and Argemary were helpful at all stages of what was a lengthy process due to complexities with the seller. Argemary was especially helpful assisting with many things right down to the final completion. I would recommend Home Espana if you are looking to buy in the Valencia region

We were in Spain on a fact finding visit as were were considering purchasing a holiday home in the Costa Blanca area.
We popped into the La Zenia branch of HomeEspaña just to try to understand the process and what we needed to do before viewing properties.
We spoke to Bex and she spent a lot of time with us answering all of our queries. It made us realise we were already in a position to proceed to the next stage of viewing and offering.
Bex explained that HomeEspaña and their partners can basically take care of almost everything related to the purchase - such as legal work, money transfer and organising utilities at the property you buy. They are even there to offer assistance after the purchase is complete while you are finding your feet.
We cannot thank Bex enough for spending so much time with us answering all of our stupid questions.
Add to that, they had some great properties available too!

We have had a wonderful and always extremely friendly and professional service with Home Espana! We had decided to purchase in Valencia Province and our journey started with Clare, who met us and invested her time and knowledge showing different location options and property types. She was personable, knowledgeable, and took the time to understand our needs, and concerns. This continued into the completion process. Emma and her after sales care was fantastic, always with a close eye for detail and facilitating the completion. In addition to the actual pre and post sale process, we were introduced to a Mortgage Broker, Lawyer and Accountants, and Property Management teams for financing, legal, accounting and rental options, and these introductions have proved extremely valuable as well as simplifying the purchase with a more or less one-stop and coordinated experience. Most definitely a deserved 5 star rating for Clare, Emma, and the Home Espana team.

Last year, we started our search for a home in Spain and our search was eventually narrowed down to Valencia or Dénia. Despite many enquiries on Idealista, only a handful of agents got back to us and only one went to the lengths that Clare from Home España went to. She met us personally in Dénia, drove us around most of the town that day, not only showing us properties but also showcasing the town that she clearly loved. She showed us the beaches, the Central Market and other places of interest in the area. We had already shown an interest in a property in Russafa in Valencia, but Clare’s gentle persuasion and passion for Dénia meant that by the end of the day, we paid a deposit on a superb development near the Marina. We have now purchased our dream property in Dénia and we have been passed on to the equally superb Emma in the after-sales department. Both Clare and Emma have been proactive and supportive throughout the whole process and they are a credit to Home España. We probably would have bought in Russafa had Clare not gone the extra mile to convince us otherwise and Emma has been giving us some excellent advice in the after-sales process. Thank you both so much.

Why are reviews on this company not including the bad reviews?
Having bought and sold 2 properties in the last 18 years in Spain I contacted HomeEspana for information on a property we were interested in. I was told the property had a "Buyers Fee" of 3% on top of the price listed!
Therefore this company not only get the sellers fee they double it to a 6% fee! Sellers and Buyers.
When questioned about this they called it an exclusivity fee.
Speaking to various agents in Spain all were astounded by this.
SELLERS beware you are not getting a fair deal and a 3% sellers charge is more the norm nowadays than ever not robbing buyers with an additional charge.

Homes Espania, La Zenia office, sold muyy home in the Torrevieja area in under 11 days. I was constantly kept informed regularly throughout the process by Gloria, who also engaged regularly with the purchaser, even advising them on local builders and acting as interpreters, for any extentions they required.
Everything was proficient and professional including their help with MAM, the solicitors.
Also advice on currency companies with regard to money exchange.
I would highly recommend Homes Espania to anyone contemplating selling or purchasing a property in Spain.
