Very convenient
Very convenient. All paperwork done on easy to use app. The car I hired was by no means a new car but it was cheaper than what other car hire companies had to offer.

I have used Hiyacar van as an alternative to Zipcar which is winning by value for money and coverage.
I would appreciate having more Hiyacar vehicles around my area – East Finchley, as well as lower prices to match Zipcar`s at the least.

Car had too many problems.
The customer service was excellent, quick and fast response. However I did not have a pleasant driving experience. The car was very dirty. Full of leaves and muds inside the car. Left over customers cloths. Clutch not working properly. Biting point too high. Needs fixing. Engine suddenly turns off. Kept saying tyre pressure needs adjusting and no immobilizer. Had to turn on and off the car after so often. The car probably had no service done to it.

Top notch
I’ve been on Hiya Car for about 4 years. It’s perfect for me. I live in SW London and there is a fantastic range of cars nearby. From frugal runarounds, to EVs, to luxury models. The app is straightforward and it is a very clear and friendly format.

I really like how easy the system is to use, and for me specifically, the support team were incredibly helpful and responsive. I had an issue updating my driving license in the app for a booking, and they helped resolve that quickly enough for me to get my booking sorted.

You've Been Warned!
This company billed me over £100 for a PCN 2 days after I returned the vehicle exactly where I found it, and in good condition! Not only did they get me on this harsh fine print, but they also billed me an additional £40 admin fee on top of it. Prior to this, on another booking, the vehicle broke down and they still charge me for the time I drove. If you ignore this review, you deserve every bad experience you get with this company!

As explained through our interaction today, according to our member criteria we ask all drivers to prove their residency, a criteria that unfortunately you didn't pass and communicated openly that you are only visiting and you're not a resident, therefore we couldn't move forward with your application.
The application fee is transparent and non-refundable. Is transparent as it's mentioned on our website, through the app and through our terms and conditions, if successful we are crediting that to your account and you can use it at the first booking, if unsuccessful it is non-refundable.
