Bought 58 inch hitachi tv 16 months ago now keeps switching its self off and on every few minutes bought from argos , great take £400 and don,t last, to be honest the tv updated its software the next day and problems gone , back to a decent tv

Stops working …
When purchasing my Hitachi tv I noticed a lot of comments say it stops working in a year or two. After my son smashed my brand new week old mega giant Samsung- I didn’t want to pay another grand so bought this one. And yes I can now confirm it’s actually true- two years down the line it plays so many tricks a day I see I need a new screen. And guess what- it won’t be Hitachi this time.

Una vergogna
Vero che non costa come marche più blasonate, ma Hitachi TV fa davvero schifo . Dopo un anno di utilizzo normale lo schermo si blocca e compaiono bande grigiastre . Inutile chiamare l'assistenza. Tempo perso . Fortunatamente non ho gettato il mio vecchio TV Panasonic acquistato nel 2000 !!! Funziona ancora alla perfezione!!! E me lo tengo stretto !!!

Acquistato TV Hitachi 58 pollici Hit58HAk5351, dopo poco più di un anno si rompe
sullo schermo appaiono bande bianche.
Chiamo l'assistenza mi dicono 48h per essere ricontattati dai/l tecnici/o,dopo più di due settimane e vari solleciti nessun riscontro (solo un misero messaggio whatsapp 10 giorni fa, in cui mi chiedevano il problema, poi spariti), continuano le signorine a fare solleciti (devo dire un paio di loro molto gentili) ma nulla si é mosso. Almeno capire quanto tempo ci vuole... Mai più Hitachi

This is the second 58k hitachi smart TV bought from argos first one lasted about year and half when picture just went lines pixels etc bought another one lasted 12 months and 2 weeks the same happened again told argos there's nothing I can do as it's 2 weeks passed the warranty 'buy cheap buy twice will not buy hitachi again and will be avoiding argos

Hitachi TV keeps freezing, turns itself off, when it feels like it and despite being a smart TV I have not been able to get it connect to the internet. Never buy another Hitachi.

Do not buy Hitachi broken in 1 year
I purchased a Hitachi TV in 2022, it is broken now approx 1 year later, the internal computer for the menus has always been slow but now the picture has gone . Do not buy any Hitachi product they are scammers
Very bad quality of tv
Very bad quality of tv. After 17 months I contacted Argos as tv stop working and have issue with screen. Lady on the phone even agree that is faulty tv and nothing is damaged by us. No help at all wasted 330£ and another tv is going already to have one year so I expect the same thing with another one.
Do not buy this sh** as it’s just waste of your money. Hitachi do not do anything to help customers and like that they just losing customers. I will go with it to court as they selling faulty products but it’s no worth it your nerves. Maybe will just send all reviews that everyone have the same issue and they not doing anything so they will got penalty hopefully very high for selling sh** products

bought the 58” hitachi tv from argos , had it for 1 year and 5 months and out of no where lines began to appear and then the screen completely went… not worth buying and wish i had read the reviews before buying as well and do not understand why tv’s this rubbish are still being sold

Bought 50" Hitachi TV less than 2 years ago now lost picture after only being only a couple of minutes.

58” TV freezing/faulty
I purchased a 58” smart TV from Argos in June 2022 and now (Aug 2023) it has broken, the screen keeps on freezing, whether I’m on my Xbox, firestick, just using the TV or whatever I’m doing 95% of the screen is blacked out/frozen. Cheap, nasty product.
Hitachi 58" Smart 4k UHD TV
I purchased my Hitachi 58" Smart 4k UHD LED TV from Argos on 14th November 2020, like other reviewers the TV is faulty at around 18 months old. The lower part of the screen has lines where the picture is distorted. I contacted Argos who told me to contact technical support but the advice they gave did not work. Definitely an issue with this model as everyone is having similar issues.
Terrible cheap product and no aftercare.
Bought their 58” 4K UHD TV (Hitachi 58HK6200U 4K UHD LED TV HDR TV Smart TV) from Argos and almost to the day that the warranty ran out, lines began to appear across to the screen. Over the space of 6 months it developed so many that it became unwatchable. The screen then began to flicker across the middle.
Argos weren’t interested and couldn’t have been less helpful. Whilst this is a cheaper brand, to sell a TV that only lasts for a year is absolutely disgusting. I’ve no idea how they haven’t been taken to court. Their products are not fit for purpose.
Do not buy this TV or anything Hitachi. The quality and aftercare are non existent. Buy cheap and definitively buy twice! I will never trust this brand ever again. AVOID!

MAMMA MIA!!!!! TV58HAK5351 Acquistato 8/3/22 rotto schermo nero e non funzionante. Sostituito grazie a assistenzabruno givesit. sostituito il 9/2/23. ROTTO NUOVAMENTE IL25/8/23, stesso problema schermo nero, non funzionante. Spero nell'assitenza VESIT per una nuova sostituzione.
