Absolute junk, app store does not work, audio video settings will only play audio. This tv is in the bin tomorrow.

I bought a Hitachi Smart TV 50'' 3 years ago.I had to replace the remote after 18mths and now the picture has gone.This piece of rubbish was made in China.If could give it no stars I would.Should be called Shitachi.

Had a Hitachi 65" tv under 5 years old, developed a picture fault, i emailed Hitachi Europe to ask for advice, never got an answer back,i will never have another item from this outfit, their customer service stinks almost as much as their products, my advice is to avoid any item thay produce, dreadful compony,

We bought a HITACHI 58" T V , DONT. The first one broke down in days, the replacement has lasted 18 months maybe. No problem when working correctly but I have shoes that lasted longer.

Metto una stella perché zero non si può. Ho comprato una "smart" tv (metto le virgolette perché di smart non ha proprio niente) circa due anni fa. Da subito ha dato problemi. Sistema lentissimo; telecomando come se non esistesse; home page che cambia la posizione delle app così, a random. La novità dell'ultimo mese è che non riceve più il segnale (chiaramente ho ampiamente appurato che non è un problema né di antenna né di entrata). 250 euro buttati, avrei dovuta restituirla subito.

Un’azienda pessima in tutto e per tutto.
Comprato Smart tv che al primo aggiornamento richiesto (dopo appena due mesi) non si avviava più.
Contattato assistenza che mi invitava a portare il tv presso un centro autorizzato.
Dopo 3 mesi con immenso imbarazzo il tecnico del negozio mi diceva che Hitachi non aveva ancora previsto una soluzione al problema.
Passa così un altro mese e decido quindi di coinvolgere anche Unieuro poiché mi aveva venduto il prodotto.
Dopo un ulteriore mese la soluzione me la propone la stessa Unieuro che non sapendo più come risolvere sia con l’assistenza tecnica che con Hitachi stessa mi propone la sostituzione con un altro tv di altra marca e di pari valore a costo zero.
Hitachi da dimenticare. MAI PIÙ.

Penso la peggior tv Smart che possa esistere sul pianeta terra!!! Non si connette a Internet e oltre a quello é molto ma molto lenta! Sconsigliatissima… meglio le altre marche come tcl che é economica ma buona! Hitachi pensa a fare gli escavatori e mezzi di costruzione per le strade invece di pensare a fare le tv che non siete ancora sufficienti a farle!!!

Comprato nel 2022 smart tv hitaci 50"maledetto il giorno che l'ho acquistato non si vede più niente tutto a righe preso buttato via mai più hitaci

Tv Hitachi Android Cosmos da 58 pollici acquistata il 27 gennaio 2022. Oggi a poco più di 2 anni e 5 mesi dall acquisto e ormai fuori garanzia, il suddetto tv ha iniziato a mostrare sfarfallio continuo e righe sulla parte centrale e inferiore dello schermo. Oltre a piccoli inconvenienti riscontrati post acquisto, come scomodità del telecomando, i cui tasti sembrano avere, oltre ad una posizione "a caso e senza senso" pochissima sensibilità, tanto da dover pigiare più forte per attivarli...quasi come fosse un telecomando usurato.
Macchinoso il passaggio da android alle varie periferiche che si collegano. Disturbi evidenziati ogni qual volta veniva collegata una periferica hdmi o addirittura ottica. Ormai soldi buttati. Pentito amaramente. Un marchio che per la sola provenienza dal sol levante, dovrebbe garantire o rassicurare sulla qualità...invece una vera vergogna!! Assistenza che tra l altro non si capisce perchè in Italia è affidata adnuna sola ditta che non riporta nemmeno il marchio nella sua denominazione. MAI PIU'

Bought from Argos amassive Hitachi TV for low price... it is awful.
Basic functions found in other TVs do not work or are just not included at all.
Dreadful telly, spend money on the proper brands - they're expensive for a reason.

Hitachi 58hak5351 acquistato 01/08/2022 meno di due anni di vita ha iniziato a fare righe orizzontali sullo schermo e a sfarfallare l'immagine...chiamato assistenza e morale della favola non si può sostituire il display perché hitachi non produce il ricambio..mi faranno un buono per l'acquisto di un nuovo televisore che ovviamente comporterà l'esborso di altri soldi per l'acquisto di una tv delle stesse dimensioni..pessimi.soldi buttati..siete vergognosi.non acquisterò mai più nulla del vostro marchio

Another 58 inch smart TV failure, owned for 19 months and screen has gone, cost nearly 400 quid so roughly £20 per month, would have been better renting. Never will I buy another Hitachi product.

50inch Hitachi tv , horizontal flickering lines when switch on, all over screen, sound is fine but tv is now useless, only a month or so over 2 years old . Was around £400 from Argos

Awful! 58 inch TV was bought as a present for us less than 2 years ago. When watching one day, had a random colourful patch in corner then next minute whole TV picture went, flashing black and white. Took to a repair shop who advised the main board had gone and Hitachi no longer supply this part - so we will have to buy a whole new TV. Customer service is hard to get a hold of or even find - its like they know their products are rubbish so shy away from any contact!

I have a 55" smart Hitachi TV which is a crock of xxxx!!! Turns off and then won't turn on! It will not change when asked to Via the remote control! I purchased this from Argos two years ago and it has been a problem ever since!! Now I know why they are so cheap! It's because they are of poor quality and I will now take it to the tip and purchase an LG TV. I only wish that I had read the reviews before purchasing this piece of xxxx

My comments are the same as the previous reviewer. TV developed frozen horizontal lines across screen with programme still running in background. Brought end 2022. A few months in warranty tv was repaired by same problem now occurred. Argos suggested we contact a local tv repairer as now out of warranty. This TV is my 90 year old mom's who relies on a tv because unable to go out. So after being without a tv while Argos sent us new software which didn't work she is buying a new tv but she did hope the Hitachi one would have lasted longer.

Bought 24" TV 18 months ago now sound won't mute and no volume control. Argos don't want to know even though two year warranty.

Exactly the same as the other 100+ reviews on here! Bought a 50" Hitachi TV from Argos in mid 2022, late 2023 (not so surprisingly now after reading the other reviews on TP, it was just after the guarantee had ended) and permanent horizontal lines started appearing on the screen. These lines gradually got worse, and then the flickering started, and again this gradually got worse! Seems to be a very common occurrence with Hitachi tvs bought around the same time, and especially ones bought from Argos, which leads me to wonder if they knew about this issue from the start, as there has been nothing from them about product recalls or offers of refunds, only complete silence and the product in question not available anymore! Absolutely disgusting from Hitachi and even more so from Argos! Safe to say I will not be using Argos for electronic purchases anymore, nor buying anything Hitachi ever again!!

Bad bad bad company my 58inch nearly gone already
