This review is about communication only.

After an initial email from Himiway confirming a color choice and mentioning they would arrange a C5 shipment from their German warehouse, I sent 3 polite follow-up emails to clarify whether anything would actually proceed and what the next steps were. I received no response.

Delays or changes can happen, but basic communication matters. Stating a bike would be “on its way soon” and then going silent feels unprofessional and doesn’t inspire confidence.

I have two Himiway e-bikes; a D3 Cruiser, and a D5 Zebra. Love the bikes!
Freya has been excellent in her communications and assistance in regard to both ebikes on two separate occasions: lost keys on one, and brake handle bell on the other.
I sincerely appreciate the regular updates on the status of my orders for both bikes. I highly recommend Himiway E bikes to anyone that asks me that my experiences with the brand. I have given those people a high recommendation. Kudos also go out to trust pilot for how they have given me the information I need to know the status of my orders..

Himiway have always been excellent with their customer support. Any issues I have had, they have resolved very quickly and professionally.

I've had a couple of occurrences where I needed support and have spoken to Jeana. Jeana has always been helpful and resolved any issues.

I have owned my Himiway ST cruiser or just over 2 years now and have put on over 25,000 miles. Other than normal wear and tear items such as tires and brakes it has not needed much. I ride hard and the bike has held up tremendously well. Would highly recommend this bike to anyone looking for a commuter or just a bite to ride for fun. Would give it 10 Stars if I could.

I bought a Bigdog in 2023. It's a very solid bike with a very good battery, that's really good for long trips or mountain climbs.
It's a bit strange to get used to the bike, since it's got a complete different caractre than other Ebikes on the market. Unfortunately I live in Germany, so I can not use the full power of the bike. Here I'm restricted to 250W, but still good to carry all my heavy equipement even uphill at steep slopes with 15% elevation. The backwheel drive is doing a good job. No need to overload the drive chain.
A second smaller chainring in the front with gearshift would be nice to have to make this bike even more varied.

I got two flat tires on my Himiway A7, and Freya from Himiway was very helpful by giving my a $50 coupon. They have Great customer service!

I really liked the huge big tire e bikes ever since I first saw them on the road it was cool. So I decided to buy for myself which eventually became go-to commute for my college. I'm just here to say that the Customer service of Himiway ( this Freya guy) is very good. I highly appreciate working with this guy.

I recently purchased a D5 (Zebra) eBike, wanted to get accurate shipping schedule info, to assure that I would be home for the delivery of this large/heavy item. Freya in customer support was super helpful in getting me the info I needed and setting expectations for delivery to me. She was prompt and detailed in getting me the info I asked for and I apprecite it!

Habe das Zebra (D5) jetzt im zweiten Jahr und bin rund 8000 km gefahren. Im vergangenen Jahr war ich glücklich, ein so günstiges und starkes Rad bekommen zu haben. Wunderbare Touren ohne Probleme. Aber dieses Jahr kam es knüppeldick. Im Saarland ist ein Motorschaden aufgetreten, nach Reparatur bei einer weiteren Tour hat es in Holland den Controller erwischt....
Die Reaktion von Himiway (sofortige Zusagen, die defekten Teile auf Garantiebasis auszutauschen) war grundsätzlich in Ordnung. Allerdings haperte es dann massiv an der Umsetzung. Der deutsche Händler, zu dem ich das Rad brachte, erhielt im ersten Fall einen falschen Motor, was zu Zeitverzögerungen führte. Beim Controller schaffte es Himiway, gleich zweimal (!!!) einen Controller mit amerikanischem Stecker zu liefern. Jetzt, nach 3 Wochen, warten wir immer noch auf den richtigen Controller.
Insgesamt haben die defekten Motorkomponenten in Verbindung mit der völlig unfähigen Logistikabteilung von Himiway mir den gesamten Sommer und sämtliche Tourplanungen verdorben. Ab jetzt heißt es für mich, Hände weg von Himiway.
Für mein nächstes Rad werde ich darauf achten, dass es Service und Ersatzteile auch in europäischen Werkstätten gibt. Auch wenn es dann etwas teurer wird.

Freya was very prompt and helpful fielding my questions pertaining to my Cobra D7 Pro's display. Most of the information that I found prior to purchasing the bike led me to believe that you could adjust the MAXPAS (3/5/9) settings in the display menu, which could be very useful for different situations. However, the Cobra Pro comes with the Ultra display that has ECO and SPORT modes defaulted to 0-5 MAXPAS in lieu of the ability to select 3/5/9. Information about this is scarce, so it is very confusing. The display information on Himiway's website is for a different model which did not even look like mine, and no updated information was shipped with the bike. Thanks again Freya for your help and the $70 coupon code.

It took a long time and couple discusion but at the end it was a good result.

Freya correctly diagnosed a faulty pedal as the cause of a clacking noise on each revolution on my brand new Zebra. I went to a local store and bought a pair of pedals (for $45). That corrected the problem!! Himiway credited my account for $20.00.
