My son purchased an E-bike off Marketplace, which had Himiway components installed. Even though the bike itself was not a Himiway, Freya in customer service, was able to assist us with a replacement motor and controller that made the bike run better than when we first got it. Dear Himiway Team,
I wanted to take a moment to share what our Himiway D5 2.0 e-bikes have meant to our family and how they have become part of something much larger than simply riding bicycles.
My wife, Teresa, and I chose the Himiway D5 2.0 — Teresa riding the 20-inch version and me riding the 26-inch version. Over the past several months, these bikes have proven themselves to be strong, dependable, comfortable, and remarkably capable machines. Teresa has now ridden more than 1,000 miles on hers, while I have put just over 2,600 miles on mine.
During August 2026, our family participated in the American Cancer Society Cycle 300 Miles Challenge. The American Cancer Society's mission to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families is something we were proud to support.
Teresa successfully completed her 300-mile challenge on her Himiway D5 2.0 20". What makes her accomplishment even more remarkable is what she went through to finish it. During the challenge, she suffered an injury that required five stitches and also injured her wrist. She continued riding with the stitches and completed the final 34 miles needed to reach her 300-mile goal. It was only after she finished the challenge that we learned her wrist was actually fractured.
Since both of my parents passed away from cancer, I decided to take the challenge even further.
While the official American Cancer Society goal was 300 miles, I set a personal goal of riding 1,000 miles during the month of August on my Himiway D5 2.0 26".
I am proud to say that I completed that challenge and finished August with 1,064.4 miles.
Riding more than one thousand miles in a single month gave me the opportunity to experience the D5 2.0 under many different riding conditions and over considerable distances. The bike performed day after day and mile after mile. It became much more than transportation or recreation. It became the machine that allowed me to pursue a goal that, at the beginning of the month, seemed extraordinary.
We had also been preparing to participate in the Five-O 100K Memorial Ride, a roughly 60-mile cycling event supporting Team Raleigh and the Raleigh Police Department Foundation. Unfortunately, because of Teresa's fractured wrist, we have made the difficult decision not to participate in this year's event so that she can properly recover.
There are many e-bikes on the market, but after what we have experienced, our Himiways are truly one of a kind to us. They have carried us through personal challenges, charitable efforts, injuries, long-distance rides, and more than a thousand miles of determination in a single month.
For our family, the Himiway name is now connected with some very meaningful memories and accomplishments.
Thank you for building bicycles that have given us the ability to take on challenges we once might not have thought possible. Our two D5 2.0s have done far more than carry us from one place to another — they have helped carry us toward goals that have become very personal to our family. Thank you again, for building a bicycle capable of allowing ordinary riders to accomplish some extraordinary things

Customer Support Responsiveness
As a bike shop Service Manager, I was able to get responsive consulting regarding a customer's bike and pinpointing the component that was needed to be replaced quickly. The only reason it's not a 5-star is because our shop is not a dealer and not considered as an authorized service center.

They went above and beyond for me…
They went above and beyond for me whenever I ordered the wrong size bike. They helped me with shipping it back and ordering the new bike. I can’t wait to receive it. I never thought I would ride…
I never thought I would ride again!!COVID!! Made all my other problems worse. I am 49. I couldn't even walk 50 yards. CHF, copd, diabetes,I am on oxygen.Thought I was doomed. stuck behind a PC for life. My friends, said buy a pc, you cant ride anymore. I refused to give up so I bought a D 5 2.0 st, and now I have freedom I never thought was possible. Himiway has been unbelievably helpful every step of the way, The customer service is superb! The bike is superb! Absolutely recommend this company to anyone who is looking for adventure and freedom, backed by a 2 year warranty and a company that will not ghost you! Support really focussed on the customer
I just bought an e-bike and I was still able to benefit from the previous owner's warranty. My request for an accessory order was taken seriously and they were very busy finding a solution for sending the items as well as for a technical problem that will be resolved as appropriate.
