I finally received information from a experienced person very knowledgeable of her job. I was informed of how the process works and where my proceeds and all of my funds were going. I even am glad that I had someone to return my phone call and actually send a copy of my problems that I was having so thank you very much. Great.

My experience with Helbing law recently has been great. Kanesha has been doing great on working on my accounts and keeping updated with everything. She has been great and I am so happy with the work that she has done. Thank you Kanesha for being great at what you do.

This company is a scam, lack integrity, steal peoples money and lack honesty. They are very professional and good at lying to people and decieving them. I do not recommend this company at all. I made the mistake of hiring them to clear a debt of 11,000.00. None of it was handled, I gave around $6,000.00 to them in payments and they only closed out an account of 1,000 +. I would advise you guys to clear your debts on your own, what they do, you can do on your own, all you have to do is call your debtors directly, and let them know you don't have the full balance to pay it off and offer them 30% of what you owe them, trust me, they will take something over nothing. But you guys can do this yourselves over paying these thieves and criminals to handle your debts.

I cannot understand how this company has 5 stars, I have been working with them since 2019 and even during this time I have not been able to pay off my debts, they have paid almost none of my cards, my program ended only one payment is missing, I have I sent more than 16,000.00 dollars and they have only called me to charge me and continue withdrawing money, all I need is to go and get my money back, I have been in a depressed state and very upset by all this, now I have debts and I don't I have money,

THIS COMPANY HELBING LAW GROUP is a Scam!!!! Stay away. I thought I was with a good company but that a LIE...It begins in March 2019 Should have ended in March 2021 now April 2023 It not completed yet so STAY AWAY!!!!!

This company is excellent to work with. Kanesha has gone above and beyond. I could not have asked for a better person to help us in a very difficult time in our lives. Kanesha is excellent at her job and has a great personality. Kanesha is very caring and understanding with us and took a lot of time to help my husband and I to clear up our finances. I have recommended Helbing Law Group to everyone I know that needs help and advised them to ask for Kanesha.

I had filed a complaint because I had several customer service reps call me over a yr after I had "settled" my account asking for more money because I was "short" funds. Kanesha called me and she was very clear and concise and explained that I was not short funds but that it was bank fees that had accrued. After a reasonable explanation, I did understand. She said they were willing to work with me anyway that worked for me to pay those off. However, she called me back and was able to settle the account without me owing them money. Kanesha was very good at explaining the reasons. I would have worked with her to make sure my account was in good standing because of her great customer service skills and explaining the situation to me. The other person I spoke to was rude and kept telling me I didn't understand, when in fact, I did.

Stay away from this company, they will help you resolve your issue. After 2yrs I worse off now than when I first contacted this company.

I just read the good reviews for them and you can see that one person went on here once a month to write them a good review!!! Have you ever heard of this before? Someone going on once a month to post a good review for a company… think about it!!! It’s clearly a fraudulent review… Please please please STAY AWAY from this company!!! Do not make the same mistake I did. They took my money for 2 years and then when it came time to settle they wanted more money and told me if I didn’t agree my wages would be garnished!!! They take their pay up front before they actually do their job so when it comes time to settle they need more money to pay the accounts!!! If you can’t afford to give them more money monthly you get your wages garnished!! Help me shut this fraudulent company down before more people keep going through this.

I would like to thank all of the staff who did a great job in my credit card bankruptcy case. May I mention Jovanna,Juan,Johanna and others .You all deserve a raise $$! DO NOT TRUST THIS LAW FIRM. THEY ARE SCAMMERS! My contract was $13K to pay off 3 accounts. $600, $2000 & $16K. They only paid $600. I’ve already paid more than $10k. All they paid is $600 debt card. Last 2 accounts are on collection & I am being sued. You cannot speak to any of their lawyers. They don’t call back. The plaintiff filed a case and would garnish my pay. They never reached out to me regarding it nor mailed me a copy, good thing the plaintiff mailed me a copy of it. How dare the representatives to call and harass me every single day that my payments lately have been returned unpaid. Warning me that I will lose legal support. Hello?! They never reached out to my creditors. That’s why I’m being sued. My credit score is as low as hell! I already had heart attack from so much stress. They emailed me a deal with me owing more coz they can’t make the promised contract agreement I signed for. I emailed to refund my money and I will handle it myself if they cannot do their job. They just ignored my request. Different agents emailing me regarding my response. Either No one checked my email or acting dumb. I plan to sue them and ask my cousin to put them on the news as scammers. DO NOT TRUST HELBING! No lawyer contacted me about me case. They will only make customer service call you. SCAMMERS!!! The $16k increased to $20k debt & rising & charging legal fees.

Turned over 6 accounts. Totaling $ 22,000.
Allegedly have closed five. HOPEFULLY.
Left me with the biggest account $ 6300.
Never worked it. Turned it to collections.
Not one single dime of my $ 15,000 went to pay account.
Now I have to pay more payments.
I think they should be ashamed of themselves.
I only get SSI, $ 1500 month.
I have to pay, then please please go away

Despues de un tiempo los crededores te meten demanda y tus cuentas terminaran en el departamento legal, locual ellos te ban a exejir mas dinero por representacion y las cuentas ya NO seban a cerar por un 40% sino que ahora para liquidar esas cuentas tendras que pagarlas a un 75% - 100%.
Esto fue loque me paso ami y te pido que no cometas el mismo ERROR y mires todos los malos reviews de otros testimonios.

I hired this company to help me consolidate my debt over a year ago. They failed me, my checking account was garnished due to Helbing Law Group not communicating with my creditor Wells Fargo nor did they communicate with me. I have been paying them 782.92 every month sometime more. The lawyer Alfredo Cordoba they have working at this law firm is clueless. Run don't trust this firm.

Ms. Kanesha Stokes is the only reason I am writing this favorable review of her and not the company. If you had more professional and reliable persons like her at Helbing Law Group, you would not have over 100 plus negative reviews at BBB. When she started working with my case I begin to have a since of calmness and most of my questions were answered and results begin to follow.

Since being in this program I have nothing more than great heartache and despair, but Kanesha saved the day. Just last week I had one of your poorly trained representatives to tell me, after having asked for Kanesha by name. She told me that she was not going to put the call through to another representative because I would not give her the last 4 of SSN, but I gave her my account number. She said I would just have to call back and I did just that because I was floored when she stated that to me. Kindly listen to the recording and that representative should not be working for your company. But Kanesha was so done also after I told her what happened to me. Why, why, why would I have to experience that kind of treatment after paying $19,000.00.

A paying customer should not have to be treated in such a way, but I am not the average customer. I will keep and on until I get the results.

Stokes. have been a client for several years and I started to give up hope when I received a letter of garnishment for one of the accounts. I was receiving daunting calls and robo calls from your office but no one helped me. I started to give up FAITH but she stepped in, listened to me, returned my calls and gave me hope again. She took all steps and effort and my problems were resolved…Now I can FINALLY breathe. She is a true example of quality customer service and an asset to your company.

Signed up for debt settlement service in 2019. Only had 2 debts with the same creditor. I agreed to make payments to the trust account set up by Helbing for 2.5 years and was promised that the debt would be settled at 40%, long before I finish making my payments. The smaller debt was settled quickly. The larger debt ($12K) was not settled and no work has been done. I have finished making my payments 1 year ago. I have called and emailed multiple times. I get no responses and no progress. Not even a negotiator assigned to the case. My credit is still low because of this (and ONLY because of this!). When I asked if I should request my money back I was told that Helbing will keep most of it for their fees (no one can tell me what these fees were for except calling me every month to remind about the payment while they were collecting my money, which was an auto-debit anyway). To anyone who is reading this - please read Google reviews. There are many cases like my own. This is a scam. I will be reporting them to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

This company is definitely a scam they take 60% of your payments for their fees and don’t do anything! I will be reporting this company to the attorney general’s office and the better business bureau because they can’t just take peoples hard earned money when we come to them for help on making our situations better. Everyone is all nice in the beginning and seem very helpful I’ve paid my payments faithfully for over a year and never got one creditor settled and they took more of my money in fees then I had in debt SMFH!
