The people at Haventree, although I have never met them in person, seem to be very friendly and helpful. They have answered every question I have emailed them and kept me informed on things like interest rates.

Honest and Straight forward

Today Haventree contacted me and resolved all issues. Problem with someone like me is Revenue Canada requires so much info because my holdco bought a house in Alberta! Everything was explained to me and things are great!

Déçu un peux de mes demandes envers un prêt !(explique, j ai demandé un prêt à part de mon prêt hypothécaire que je ne voulais pas toucher!et il mon canceller mes taxes foncier et il on embarquer mes taxes municipales sur le prêt que avais demandé !donc j ai du faire des appels pour revenir comme j été au début (une perte de temps )

Helpful, supportive, and prompt action

While I can appreciate the importance of a mortgage renewal, I was contacted too many times with excessive escalation in forms of contact. I had seen the email and was considering my options when I received the physical documents by courier- which was unexpected and likely unnecessary. Then still well in advance of my maturity date someone came to my house. This person taped a letter to my front door clearly indicating my full name and address in the middle of my front door. Seeing this I felt very uncomfortable, it did not seem to respect my personal information or privacy. This experience draws into question my willingness to continue business with this organization. Follow up emails that requested a response for acknowledgment of receipt would have been sufficient. Further, I have verified that the phone number that I emailed is my correct number and a voicemail would have been preferred to a physical “visit”. This experience strongly negatively impacts my desire to recommend this bank to others. I firmly feel like this situation could have been handled better and I currently have a poor opinion of this company because of my most recent experience.

Sergey was very helpful and patient. He helped us with the renewal of our mortgage despite the very short notice of our intention to modify the terms. He explained the details and sent us the documents even outside his work hours.

Al Noor was very good to work with. He made the renewal easy. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because my interest jumped to over 8%. But 5 stars for Al!
