Frank listened to my concerns carefully and immediately executed my request for the discharge statement. He deserves a raise.

La banque Haventree, ou comment se faire prendre dans un engrenage cher, compliqué et déshumanisant.
Tout d’abord vous ne parlerez jamais à un interlocuteur de la banque. Non, cette banque snobinarde ne passe que par des courtiers, des avocats, des intermédiaires, elle ne s’abaisse pas à parler au personne qui sollicite son financement hypothecaire.
Ensuite, prenez garde, a la moindre malchance, au moindre retard de paiement ( à partir de deux mois de retard dans mon cas), la machine est bien huilée: leurs avocats vous envoie le préavis d’exercice hypothecaire immédiatement pour pouvoir s’emparer de votre maison et la vendre en justice. Inutile de vouloir parler, proposer une entente de paiement ou toute autre solution: leurs avocats ont seulement le mandat d’exécuter, de vendre, de mettre donc la famille concernée à la rue. Vous recevrez donc une lettre de mise en demeure douteuse qui vous déclare endetté par anticipation, à chaque fois que vous souhaiterez connaître des détails du solde réclamé (qui correspond à plus que les loyers manqués), vous vous heurterez à une réponse du type « vous le saurez quand vous aurez payé » et inutile de perdre votre énergie à vouloir négocier et trouver une solution: tu paies ou tu es expulsé.
On est donc au summum du capitalisme, appliqué de façon bête et mécanique, totalement déshumanisé. Je vous déconseille FORTEMENT de faire affaire avec cette institution. Toute autre solution est préférable.

The bank has solid security and basic convenient functions, including quick transfers and easy account management. However, it lacks competitive interest rates, and branch service efficiency needs improvement. Suitable for simple daily use only.

Excellent customer service

This bank is the worst They charge me $400 for the property tax months and they’re not paying the property tax. They’re just keeping the money and they’re not paying the property tax. Actually.I called them and ask why are charging me for Tax and not paying the City. The customer service told me can you send the property tax warning and will get back to you. nobody contact me back . I waited a few months later in the same scenario over and over they’ve been taking money for over 1 year and they’re not paying the property tax and they don’t wanna give any answer what they’re doing with the money I can’t believe it. I thought this is the worst experience.

Expérience extrêmement décevante avec Haventree.

Depuis plus de 4 mois, mon dossier traîne sans raison claire. J’ai eu des suivis presque chaque semaine, fourni tous les documents demandés et même payé un rapport d’évaluation, pour finalement n’avoir aucun résultat concret.

Pendant ce temps, ma cote de crédit a été vérifiée 4 fois, ce qui peut avoir un impact négatif inutile.

Si le dossier n’était pas acceptable dès le départ, cela aurait dû être dit immédiatement. Au lieu de ça, on me fait perdre du temps, de l’argent et on affecte mon crédit.

Je comprends que chaque dossier est différent, mais un minimum de transparence et de respect du temps des clients devrait être la base.

Très mauvaise expérience de mon côté.

Pire banque de clown à éviter de très loin!!

Still very new. So this is an early review to be clear. However so far I have no complaints. They answer the phome quickly. Respond to emails quickly. They waved our mortgage payment change fee. We went from monthly to bi-weekly accelerated.
So far so good!

Good client service and smooth transaction.

Haventree banks specialist was adamant on renewing early and that the new payment/terms would take effect once signed back. I confirmed on the portal too, but Haventree simply tried to take the old payment (about $400 more) and funds were not present. They also declined providing a cost of borrowing disclosure BEFORE signing an agreement- which from what i know about FSRA needs to be provided up front.

My communication with mortgage renewals went smoothly and all my questions were answered in a friendly and professional manner. I was given the best interest rate possible and hope that this will continue.

I have to say, if you have special circumstances like losing your employment or asking for an extension, they charge you such high fees it’s incredible! This is a last resort bank and I would never recommend it to anybody. My credit was shot after I took care of my parents and a mortgage specialist went with them. If I would have known I would never have signed on that line. Stay away if you can. This is a last resort lender. I cannot understand the 5 star reviews.

I was expecting everything I had to do today to be so challenging and to take so much longer than it did.
My experience today with Rizzel was a welcomed surprise during a very difficult time in my life.
