Dreadful!!
Dreadful!!! Pricing is highly misleading as it doesn't include VAT even though it appears as a UK website. Vague statement at checkout saying duties may apply is not good enough. Why not just add the duties to the pricing like everyone else rather than price headlining. I got whacked with a 30% charge from DPD for duties and what ever else and the item still hasn’t been delivered 2 weeks after placing order. Beware!!!

Thank you for your review. I completely understand your frustration — unexpected customs fees and delivery delays are never pleasant, and I’m truly sorry for the inconvenience caused.
As mentioned in the private email I sent you, our website clearly states that we ship from France, and that VAT and customs duties may apply for UK deliveries. This information is available here:

In addition, before you confirm your order, a message appears in red in your basket to make sure it is clearly visible:
“Shipping from France – customs fees may apply (more details here)”
I fully understand that these extra charges are frustrating, but they are applied by UK customs and carriers, not by us. We do our best to warn customers transparently before checkout so there are no surprises.
Regarding the delivery delay, I’m sincerely sorry your parcel has still not arrived. Unfortunately, once the package leaves our warehouse, we depend on the carrier’s handling. I remain available to help you track your parcel or assist with any next steps.

Poor communication
Dear Hardloop Customer Service,
I have been invited to provide feedback on my recent purchase, and I feel it is important to explain my experience.
I ordered a pair of fell running shoes which, unfortunately, were too small. I attempted to download the returns form as instructed, but the form would not work. I contacted you to report the issue and was eventually informed that you were experiencing technical problems with the returns system and that I would be notified once it was fixed.
That was several days ago. Since then, I have sent further emails requesting an update, but I have received no response.
In the meantime, as I needed the shoes, I ordered a replacement pair in a larger size. I am therefore currently left with two pairs of shoes and no clear way to return the original pair.
I appreciate that technical issues can arise, but the lack of follow-up communication has been disappointing. I would be grateful for a prompt response with clear instructions on how I can return the incorrect pair and receive a refund without further delay.
I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.

Absolutely horrible company
Absolutely horrible company, no customer service provided. First things first - during order process there was no information that I might need to pay extra custom fees as package is coming from France. If you are in France - do not make your website with "co.uk" and dont sell in £ ! After purchasing jacket , it was delievered late - and only then I found out that my package was coming from abroad. Also my package was meeting the criteria of under £162 which then should be with no extra fees on UK border - but unfortunately I had to pay it anyway. I contacted Hardloop multiple times and got absolutely no response to my emails. Very poor service, I normally dont leave bad reviews online, but I feel tricked and ignored. I absolutely don't recommend if you are buying from UK.
