Brilliant product and price

Sturdy, looks nice and got it at a cheap price compared to other places. I'm using some more pillows underneath the provided seating pillow but otherwise very happy with product.

Despite negative reviews I can only give my own experience which is positive. We have just taken over a pub and ordered 10 outdoor tables to go with chairs bought elsewhere. I spoke to a gentleman called Charles several times who was always courtious and helpful. They were delivered on time by Yodel who I also think are excellent. We will be ordering more stuff when; the summer gets going. The tables are lovely and ideal for what we need them for. Sorry othere have not had good experience with this company.

We bought a nursery rocking chair that arrived with holes and fittings that don't line up so it can't be put together and the fabric is damaged. The company is refusing a return and refund despite it being within our legal 14 day right. Absolutely shocking customer service, the company even told us to force it together and that the fabric that was torn 'is meant to be like that' after we sent pictures. Despite explaining we have a baby on our way in a few weeks (not that we should have to) the company will still not accept a return and a refund. Please save your money and time.

Bought a chair which arrived within a couple of days. Nothing wrong with chair but colour wasn't what I thought. Emailed H&O to ask about exchanges. They said item could be exchanged but obviously I would need to pay shipping. This was completely fine as it was my error. I emailed them a number of times and all emails were responded to. They confirmed receipt of returned chair and gave tracking info for new chair. New chair received & I love it. Customer service was excellent throughout the process, would definitely use again. Very happy and would definitely recommend.

Ordered a media wall fireplace paid extra for fast delivery 5 days later still waiting for it to be delivered. Customer service is appalling. Have told them to cancel the delivery and refund and had no response. DO NOT ORDER from here.

I bought a plasterboard lifter from this company in Jan 24 and unfortunately, one of the parts inside the box was broken. Initially, they wanted me to pay the return postage to send it back to them for a refund (this would have been approx £30 to do so) but eventually agreed to collect it upon me mentioning trading standards.
They arranged a collection date at the end of January, but the courier didn’t arrive. Since then, I’ve been continually fobbed off by numerous emails from ‘Wendy’ saying how difficult it is to organise a courier because they’re so busy etc. - their tactic was basically to keep me dangling in the hope that I’ll just give up. However, I am currently left with an item I cannot use or if I sell on, would be at a considerable loss. Their customer service is a disgrace and I would advise anyone not to deal with them.

I order a fire place more then a week ago. Yes fast delivery... But that is all. Fireplace came damaged. Tried to contact customer service. 48 hours later I received email. Then I wrote tnem back... 48 hours later I received email again. I replied straight away... didn't hear back till today. Sent them few more emails no answer. All I want it is new fireplace or my money back.
People don't buy from them if something goes wrong you can't contact them. Hope they will get back to me soon.

Rattan armchair
Really pleasantly surprised. Was a little cautious as it seemed too much or a bargain. Lovely chair, spacious, nice fabric. Very please. Would recommend.

The worse customer service I have ever encountered. I called 3 times left messages with my order number and phone number and didn't receive a call back. I then emailed to explain I wanted to change my order for a more expensive fire to which I was emailed back saying I must be quick to reply to email with the changes as they dispatch within 24 hrs.
I replied straight away with name of fire I would like to change too also left my contact number for them to call me so I could make payment. I heard nothing back until the day later to tell me they had dispatched it and if I didn't except item I will be charged £30 of my refund. I will never and would advise anyone never order with such a disgusting company.

I've got a lot to say about this shed so bear with me😜

Cost
This was the best value version of all the sites I checked, including ebay which were all £315 upwards. I'd never bought from H&O before so it was a good chance to try them out.

Delivery
Shed was delivered quickly although there were no delivery notifications until the driver was actually here, thankfully we were in. Possibly I missed the notifications but I don't think so. The shed was packaged in two boxes which are quite heavy.

Quality
The shed is excellent if you want a slim, pleasing to the eye, piece of garden furniture. It is solid enough when built but it definitely feels a little flimsy in the individual pieces. It has survived storm Isha so I'm happy with it.

Please note: it is my opinion that the picture you see with the shelves on it above is AI as there is no way that the side panels would hold a shelf. This is important if you're planning on storing items like that.

As the shed is metal, there will be a lot of condensation inside so also consider that when buying. I did not think about that so now I have had to cover the motorbike I have stored in there.

Size
The design is really good because the doors open out flat which means you can really make the use of the space. In my case, I'm storing a motorbike in there and it was really easy to get in and out.

Building the shed
I have built many, many things in my time and this is one of the rare occasions when it says "two people needed", that it really means it!

Ideally, both people should also have an electric drill to speed things up.

It was extremely easy to put up and it was so refreshing to have a company who clearly label all the individual pieces, so there's no faffing around.

We had some difficulty getting the hooks up as the diagram instructions were not clear, so you might like to refer to the pictures above here to help you.

Notes
There is no floor as is clearly stated. We bought 8 paving slabs from Wickes and put them inside which is really nice.

The locking mechanisms are really good quality and I put a padlock through them.

This is not a shed that is particularly secure. If someone wished to break in, they could just pull the panels down from any side so not ideal if you're storing something for security.

Overall summary
I'm happy with the shed for £250 but I wouldn't have paid anymore for it, especially given the condensation which I hadn't considered. Next time I'll go for a wooden shed but I'd definitely buy from H&O again.

They use DX for deliveries who are awful.

Item has been out for delivery on two different days with a time window provided and I drove half an hour and waited at the property for 2 hours for the item during the time window only to have my time wasted.

Reading the other reviews on here I'm worried that the plasterboard lift I ordered is even going to arrive complete or if it'll have missing parts.

I should have read the reviews here first, will probably have to order the lift somewhere else as it's holding up the work.

Ordered a plasterboard lift for next day delivery, came late but no oproblem really, the two main components are missing so it can’t be used plus they don’t answer their phone and were barding ceilings atm

Ordered an item from Debenhams, which I have realized is being sourced via this company. I paid for express delivery and almost a week later, it still has not materialised when it was due within 2 days. Yodel states they don't even have the item l. I have asked for more information and still no reply about if the bookshelf has even been dispatched yet. Will take matters further if not here in the next day or two. The tracking link doesn't say anything

Easy to connect to the power with the clamp system a few little screws to attach to the ceiling took about 3 minutes to do. Easy to attach the beautiful real Chrystal balls we put them on after we attached it to the ceiling. I’m fascinated by it!
