The rep that came out to assess my windows was very polite and had a good knowledge of pricing and timescales.

At first I was happy to go ahead with interest free option, but later found out I could not get aproved for this and would have to pay more if I still wanted to go ahead.

(The only logic I can come up with from the lenders end, is that they really dont want to give out interest free loans unless they have to. No profit in it for them.)

Now this is where I chose to discontinue the order and requested a refund.

The refund timeline just for anyone wondering is 28 days. And yes it did take almost this long to get back 50% deposit.

I recieved the refund in full and am happy that the process was fairly straight forward.

In general the staff were friendly and helpful.

Just remember that if you do have to cancel, be very clear on this via both phone and email in order to avoid any confusion.

I cant comment on actual work done but hope this helps if you are thinking of going with this company.

Derek, the sales manager, spent a great deal of time discussing options,prices and time frames for the installation of my new Door. He was very friendly and I never felt that he was pushing for a sale, although I did need a new door and the choices were all lovely. Having made my choice, the company kept in touch and informed me when my door was ready for installation. On the agreed day, chosen to shut me, the fitters, John and Stephen and their young apprentice arrived promptly and set to work straight away. My new door was installed in under 2 hours and looks amazing. These guys were very friendly and happy to humour my inquisitive nature by explaining the process and answering my questions. I would recommend Greencastle if you're looking to purchase doors.

Fitters did a great job in difficult location. Glass alone weighed nearly 90kg. All sealed up, site cleaned and tidied afterwards. Will definitely be back for more.

If we could give this Company 0 Stars we most definitely would. Deposit paid 29/06/2024.. Job still not completed 20/02/2025.. Communication non existent.

Derek Reilly came out and he was so helpful, friendly and knows what he's talking about it.
I highly recommend Derek, he is a star.
Mum and dad are so happy they are getting lovely new windows and doors in a few weeks.

Had Derek round to view our 7 windows in our tenement flat. Fantastic guy. He was very friendly and was very informative. Took us through all options and the difference in prices. Would recommend. A++

However work has begun and it's been a bit of a nightmare in terms of appointments and cancellations. I'm dropping this down untill the job is done.

I was certainly pleased with Derek. Who curated today and showed samples and helped to discuss options making my choice much easier.

Very polite young man and made me Feel very relaxed and at ease in my own home. Would certainly recommend to family and friends. Happy to show results to anyone else looking to purchase.

Extremely disappointing experience with this company.
Derek was very friendly and keen for a sale (along with several reminders to leave a trust pilot review) which we went through with.

Since then it has been error after error.
Damaged beading on the windows and French doors, Scratched chrome handles, faulty front door (many faults with this door).
Very poor communication and met with excuses of ‘the beading hasn’t arrived’. We are now 12 months after installation with substandard quality, including a door that won’t close fully.
Have contacted several times and no one wants to know. Funny how quick they are to get the sale and install but struggling to get the required parts for remedial work 12 months down the line.

One thing that was resolved was the scratched handles. But suspiciously, the new locks on the windows have been replaced with a brand other than Yale which were there before. Sold a ‘Yale lifetime guarantee’. Great, when the locks are no longer Yale.

They take the money then have no interest in after sales care.

Very disappointed and 8K wasted.

We had a visit from Chris Gosling to discuss possible home improvements.
We found him very courteous and informed, not at all pushy , prepared to spend a lot of time to ensure we were certain of all aspects of the work involved.
We are looking forward to getting the work done in the near future

Dealt with going through a quote for windows and doors with Derek today. He made the process simple, personal and friendly and I will definitely be using the company in the future. Thank you!

Had a window knockout and new patio doors fitted. Derek was excellent at identifying the correct doors and ensured the process was quick, smooth and efficient. End product looks fantastic. Would highly recommend.

Got a quote today for Windows and a new door. Excellent quote and great service. No pressure to buy.

Wasn't going to order new windows or doors as thought they's be way too expensive especially as we'd done quite a bit of upgrading of house this year already!!
Anyway! Marc came to see us and to do initial measure up..initially only for a window and 2 doors. No strong sales pitch, no dropping silly numbers . Straight forward explanation and how they work...
Long story short ~ instead of 2 doors and 1 window Marc went away with 4 large conservatory windows with patio doors. Plus the original request.!!
Order took the stated time and fitting took the 4 days. Thankfully the November weather held good for us. The 'boys' who came were friendly and went about their work in a good very tidy manner. Kept us updated and appreciated the several cups of tea supplied.
We've had them just over 2 months now and really pleased. Would highly recommend

Derek who we discussed the replacement of our windows & doors was excellent when letting us know our options. The quality examples was exactly what we were looking for. Can't wait for these to be fitted.

We had a fab home visit from Derek earlier in the week to give us a quote for new windows and doors. He was really knowledgeable and informative, and gave us ideas we hadn’t even considered but would suit our needs really well. We’d mentioned the importance of bringing in more light to our living space, and he’d kept this in mind from the beginning. He talked us through everything and was never pushy for a sale, however the quote he gave us was amazing and we were really happy with it (and relieved!!) as our budget is tight with a baby on the way. We also like how eco and environmentally friendly this company is, knowing we’ll save on our monthly bills and the windows that are removed will be recycled. We’re looking forward to having our new windows and doors fitted in the new year. Ask for Derek for a very friendly service with lots of laughs!
