A lot of the reviews seem to be bothered about delivery time. If this is the case, they'd hate ordering from other sites with delivery dates longer than five working days.
Item was purchased, dispatched and received without a hitch. The only criticism I have, other than tracking, is the lack of email notification as to when an order has been dispatched. That feature would put people at ease.

I read the pretty grim reviews but they had the items I needed in stock there was no urgency and so I took a gamble and ordered. 5 x Copic neutral grey refills ng00-04.
They arrived at exactly 12 days and appear to have come from Germany via DHL. Postage was about a fiver.
The website was fine but the tracking never worked at all so you are a little blind as to whether its even been despatched. But the product arrived and were all spot on with the correct colours. So I cant really complain to much if at all.
I deducted one star as I agree with others that the delivery is expensive and tracking doesnt work. But the product was spot on and more importantly the items were in stock.
Would I use them again? certainly would I would always pay by credit card then if there is a problem your covered.

Love this store, staff are always friendly and helpful.
Looking to purchase an airbrush, the lovely Manager was very patient & knowledgeable answering all of my questions.
Also, assisted with my purchases. The assistant that served me was really nice too!
Looking forward to my next visit!

Excessive delivery time for the cost.
I have just placed an order with great art and delivery time is 7 to 10 days even after paying £4.95 for the privilege, seems excessive to me, also I didnt see the delivery time frame at the order stage, maybe my mistake, still this is the last order they will get from me.

Terrible delivery times and non-existent complaints department
I have ordered from Great Art a few times and the delivery time is absolutely terrible. Apparently it is delivered from Europe rather than their store in the UK. It takes between 7 - 10 working days to arrive. I waited over two weeks for my last order and after querying the delay, it finally turned up. I emailed to ask where I could complain and was told that they would pass on my complaint to the relevant department (they didn't offer a direct email address or telephone number). This was nearly 2 weeks ago, and I have heard nothing! I only ever ordered one type of art product from them but luckily, I was able to find the product elsewhere online, so I will NEVER order from Great Art again. Terrible service.

I placed an order for a canvas with a floating frame, after 3 weeks of ordering my item arrived no updates nothing. I did not even know the canvas was being delivered this week the courier driver for some reason left the parcel with a neighbour when I was home! Which was very annoying, if I had known it was my parcel and had some updates with tracking number then I would know it’s on its way to me. I have now received my item, very disappointing to now see that the canvas doesn’t even fit the frame fully. Won’t be using this company again!

Good supply of materials; staff is knowledgeable and helpful…
The staff is knowledgeable and helpful (not always friendly, business-like attitude).
The store has everything one needs, and when not one can order online. The only problem to be addressed is that deliveries can take up to 2 weeks to arrive.
The prices are comparable to other places and the range of materials in story is very good, specially pigments.

Change your name to "Late Art"
I should have known better order placed 20 days ago and still not here! This has delayed two jobs for my clients. Had to ring up for tracking number which was given to me to 3 days later. The tracking number says it is still in depot! and not dispatched.
Website advertises 7 - 10 working days and this has been over 20 working days ! Change your courier !!! or your name "Late Art "?Jacksons for me next time -

This company needs to change their courier.
Placed an order 2 months ago and called for an update a few weeks later and the delivery was running late. As this was a gift for someone I cancelled the order and received a refund. Turns out a week later the order was delivered to a neighbour down the road.
Placed a second order 3 weeks ago, once again running late to be delivered and when it's finally delivered today, once again it's been delivered to a random house down the bottom of my street.
Great Art need to make it clear their warehouse is no UK based so customers can make an informed decision before placing an order .
I feel sorry for those that order for Christmas gifts because I don't believe Great Art has the capacity to deal with increasing orders over the next 6 weeks.
Would recommend Ken Bromley Art Supplies, same prices and faster service via royal mail.

I placed an order 2 weeks ago over the phone with a very helpful gentleman who seemed to know what he was doing. Alas order has still not turned up and when I called 2 days ago to ask when I could expect it again a very helpful gentleman answered. However bizarrely I was told he couldn’t see when it would come and that it looked like it might be a couple of days late but if I sent an email, he could then let me know. That was 2 days ago and as yet have not heard back.
I might have left it at that if I had not started to look at reviews - wish I had done this first or would not have placed order. Starting to wonder if it is a real shop. I have got an exhibition next week and need order to complete my exhibits. Not happy.
Ps: does anyone out there know a good and efficient place to get mulberry paper from please? Meanwhile I hope Great Art will offer something to make it right.
I’ve never given negative feedback to anyone online before but really not happy. No order confirmation either.

RE: GreatArt's reply "due to flooding in the transportation route". These lies are damaging your business. I just checked the tracking info with Yodel and apparently it is going for delivery today. My parcel also was not with the courier until the 21st so the excuse of flooding is clearly a fabrication. By the way my order was placed 4 weeks ago and was only recieved by courier a day ago!

This was my first order with the…
This was my first order with the company so I have no long term data to share. I was surprised to learn after ordering that delivery was 7-10 working days, but as I was in no rush for the items, that was not a problem. I was however, a little concerned that there was no tracking system for orders and from reading reviews, it seems the items are shipped from Germany.
However the goods arrived bang on time and look to be perfect for me.
I will note the lead time for future orders and order in good time!

I ordered a black canvas on 13th still not arrived and when I emailed they still didn't send a tracking number all they said it would be with me. I still don't have a tracking number or the canvas. DONT USE THEM

Unreliable Delivery. Untrustworthy company. Worse than useless.
Ordered 13/8. Nothing - not even an email to explain. Phoned 5/9 told DHL tried to deliver and had it refused. Either going to wrong address or someone lying. Maybe both. No explanation as to why no email to us about this. Have been tricked by them in past over items claimed in stock not in stock. Used to be an OK company but now worse than useless. Looking for alternative and reliable suppliers.
7/9/23 Subsequent to above experience ordered from Jacksons Art Supplies. They delivered for free by Parcelforce - next day. No problem. Lesson is clear for the future - avoid Great Art and use Jacksons. Price was about the same or only a few pennies different. Great Art = not very great. As for "customer service" - said she would send photo of package at delivery address but has not done so. Not surprised - they can't even deliver an email.

I ordered twice and I am very happy with the price. Delivery is up to 10 working days and always arrived on time. I am surprised to see so many bad reviews.
I ordered polymer clay and at the time I ordered they had the best prices on the market, plus some products nowhere else to find.

Wanted to use the toilet and got…
Wanted to use the toilet and got treated like rubbish i was going to by items in store that cost a fortune but the fact that I had to look else where for the toilet they had lost my custome and put me off ever going to great art again. Also to refuse a customer that wants to spend a large amount of money in store is completely discusted cause my partener spends alot of money in the too today I was going to do the same but to be told no to use there toilets that's it I was done with them for good... I've done a modern apprenticeship in customer service and as human rights they should allow customers to use there toilets if they are paying customers. My partener spent £100 today and they wouldnt let me use the toilet.

great products, terrible delivery times.
ordered 6 items. 1 item arrived within the 10 working days timeframe. They blamed YODEL, and seemed to be trying to sort. When i further complained about the new estimated timeframe not being met. They responded to explain its technically only 3 days late. I felt their sympathy and then realised that 16 days from London to Glasgow is not unreasonable if you were walking, only on working days, and it's wrong to assume they are driving. So fair play

Online payment not working
Online payment not working. Had a very large order as prices were great. Couldn't proceed to pay - banner came up some items were not available. Which I don't know...Tried to call to place order over phone but only option 2 to London store worked. He couldn't help. Ordered through Jackson Art instead. Next day delivery just 0.95p.
