We started using Goddards during lockdown and have continued to use them. I love the fact they are a butchers and you can talk to them so you get the personal touch. There are other online suppliers of meat products probably cheaper and I have used them but the quality and personal touch is just not there.

Just received a winter Keto pack, which looks amazing.

The meat was well represented. Was so pleased with it.I will be ordering again.

I thought I would try a local butcher. Website easy to use, lady rang to arrange delivery. Delivery 2 hour slot given arrived nearly 2 hours early so lucky someone was in, not suppliers fault. Received meat that had the previous days date on. Rang to say I wasn’t impressed, was told person who packed it put day of packing on it not use by date. Surely that should have been checked. If you had bought it from a supermarket you would have taken it back.Never received as much as an apology. So lets hope when we actually cook the meat it isn’t off and not an expensive mistake for me to pick this firm to try.

Good experience ordering and customer services but in future to advise customers of delays would help.Appreciate delays inevitable for a variety of reasons but letting the customer know would have achieve 5? That’s before eating the meat

Prompt service, meat pack are good sizes. Not able to tell you about taste of this pack yet as for christmas. However, meat from this butchers is usually very good quality.

good service they kept me up to date with the delivery issues, they where able to change to collection as I was near the shop.

Unhappy with the current website. I am told work is in progress. When searching for a particular type of meat I expect to be taken directly to it, not through pages of assorted meats. At present, no offal is offered.
Otherwise, prompt and cheerful delivery, Sarah is very helpful. Good cuts of meat, a step above supermarket products.

I have used Goddard’s a few times now for online orders and from the first one to the last I have never been disappointed. I would see their ads and debate and when lockdown happened, I decided what better time to use local businesses and made my first order. They did not disappoint! Excellent quality, I bought the protein pack and filled my freezer with delicious sausages, steaks, chicken, joints both pork and beef and all lean. Not only was the quality of the product good but the service was excellent as well. Every order I’ve placed has been shipped within a couple days depending when I ordered and often the very next day to arrive over night. They even phone to state when they expect to ship the order to ensure you’re home to receive the order. All items packed and sealed and kept on icepacks to remain cold upon delivery. This order has been like all the rest, quick and efficient and of excellent quality!

Quality and value of meat is really lovely, what a difference to the supermarket offerings!
