As a patient and employee, I can't say enough good things about this company. Been here for over 8 years, and they've allowed me to progress through multiple different roles. Not once have I considered leaving. I've been a patient at various different practices and while each practice retains its own unique personality (rather than being branded or standardised), I've had nothing but great service every time.
Beware of this outfit. They are interested in money only.
Made an appointment to see the same dentist whom I had previously visited. I was asked to pay straight away the fee of £20.60 which was for an examination, scale and polish. I was then surprised to discover that the previous dentist had been replaced by a woman.
A 5 minute examination followed and the dentist was then lifting the couch. I asked what happened to the scale and polish and she reluctantly carried out a scale. Again that finished but no polish. I again asked, but she advised off handed that the NHS do not include this.
She handed me the care plan which showed that I had paid £20.60 for an examination, scale and polish.
It seemed to me that as I had turned down a deep clean on band B costing £56.30 ( I had this last time), the dentist was just not interested. Not everybody can afford dental fees !!
On arrival home, I sent an E-mail to the practice manager who glibly answered that the scale and polish was considered not to be "clinically required".
A very poor attitude from this organisation and now E-mails to the partners are simply being ignored. As my heading states, ignore this outfit. They are not interested in patients welfare, only making more money.
Needless to say, I will not be returning for the next scheduled appointment in July
