Save your time, money and effort and go elsewhere
Absolute shambles of a company! Bought a policy for my new MacBook on 4th December. This company charges almost double the price of other companies, however they boast the number of years they're in the business which is why I ended up choosing this company.
Paid upfront the whole annual cost of around £200. I received no email confirming payment, no policy documents, no communication whatsoever.
I then checked my bank to make sure the money is paid and everything is OK from my side which it was. Money left my bank and all paid for.
I contacted the company, they couldn't even locate me on the system! At first they were telling me I don't have a policy and I must have paid a different company. This is ridiculous! Eventually, they found my payment and apologised and said that it is an IT error which will be sorted by the same day or the next day.
Nothing happened, still no communication. I called the company pretty much everyday, I emailed too. They just tell me that the managers are looking into it.
It is now 14th Dec, still no communication from this ridiculous fraudulent company.
Once they have sorted the issue out, I am going to cancel my policy and go elsewhere. I can't even cancel right now as I don't even have a policy number despite being covered since the date of my payment!
Save your money, time and effort and go to other companies. The staff don't seem to care too, poor level of customer service and by far one of my most unpleasant experiences I have received. I am genuinely considering doing a chargeback and getting my money back through my credit card company. Absolute shambles. I would give this company 0 stars if it was possible, 1 star is actually generous.

Funny how the moment I write this review, within a few hours I have the policy documents. Why did this not happen for the last 10 days?
I have raised a complaint officially, it was not handled well, staff did not show good service. I am most likely looking to cancel my policy once the outcome of the complaint is resolved unless this company can promise not to give service like this again and offer a decent goodwill. Otherwise I am gone.
Once again, save your time, money and energy. Imagine making a claim with these guys.
Once again, one star is generous.

Technical issue rectified by customer service
Where is my policy documents!?
Last Thursday I purchased smart watch insurance with yourselves and paid the yearly fee. However the website crashed whilst I was creating a log in and I have not received any email with my policy number and documents on. I have contacted your customer service team on the same day however have not received a reply. I also want to cancel my automatic payment. Feels like you have just taken my money.
Edit - thanks for your reply. Will I be charged for ringing this number? I do not want to pay to sort out a mistake that is not mine. I have also emailed into your contact form so I can communicate through there if you reply.
Update 10/12/20 - I phoned the number below where the customer adviser took my details and stated they would contact their managers as my details could not be found. A quick 45 minutes later she rang me back stating that there was a technical error which meant the information/payment hasn’t automatically gone onto their systems. So I now have all my policy documents through email and the advisor also cancelled my auto renewal with no issues. Very helpful and friendly advisor.

Never had any issues
Never had to make a claim so couldn't really give feedback on this. Second time I have used Gadget Cover and no issues when cancelling the previous policy after 3 years

Untrustworthy company
I lost my iphone and sent you all document needed. There was an human error in one of the document and it was rectified within hours. Bear in mind most staffs works from home this days. I called and you tried a 3 way call which never worked. I had to borrow a neighbour small phone to use to make that call.
Now i have no phone to use in this crucial period of the pandemic. Imagine if there was an emergency now, how do i even contact the police or ambulance. I am even currently self isolating due to me being in contact with someone who had the virus and its so crazy. I regret why i never used other companies.
I have sent in numerous emails, reported the device via immobilise and report my loss and i can confirm the device was blacklisted. So why not sort me out huh

Don’t waste your money with them
I’ll never recommend this insurance company,they’re asking for so many things,to blocklist your phone, certificate, and many things, also they will send you whatever colour they have in stock and not what you had before!
Very rude customer service, they’re so bored about their job,not helpful at all!

Competitive Prices
Website easy to navigate. Prices seem reasonable and cover competitive. So far so good. Only 3 stars as the real test comes if/when you have a claim!
