Scott arrived and set up on time. He was as inconspicuous as he could be- very discreet! He was professional and knowledgeable and was open to suggestions from us. We are very pleased with his services and the quality of the filming. In hindsight we should have ordered two cameras so that the congregation and the speakers could be captured at the same time in the chapel. Thank you Scott.

Scott's filming of our family funeral was excellent. His manner was wonderful, the way he worked was without notice or interrupt, and the product he created for us simply excellent. We highly recommend him.

I had two days to organise my mother's funeral in order for my wife and children to make it before they flew home. Such a quick turnaround also meant many people needed to watch online.

The church lacked a webcam, so I turned to Funeral Filming and Scott luckily had availability at extremely short notice.

The sound and video quality was apparently incredible and people genuinely felt it was like being there.

In a truly 'meta' experience, one of my friends online heard me telling Scott by the graveside that I was so pleased with the service, as all reports thus far had been that the quality of the footage was first rate!

So professional, and calm. He managed to work two cameras on his own, making smooth live transitions between the cameras. Watching the recording back afterwards, it is such an excellent live event, so well covered. One might worry about "tech issues" if one covered it onself, but this was thoroughly professional from start to finish.

Scott was very professional from first contact enquiry to delivering the live stream service. He responded to questions by email promptly and expectations were fully understood by us both. We had a live stream service for the Church and the burial at the cemetery. Both were clear sound and viewing and the funeral was fully captured. A good addition to include when there is a viewing break between the Church and travelling to the burial ground at the cemetery would be a screen display saying something like ‘ viewing will resume shortly with the burial’. This will enable viewers to know there is a part 2 to come. I would highly recommend Scott Davey and this live stream service, professional equipment used. A job well done!

Being tasked with trying to find a live stream videographer within 4 days of our Father's funeral, I turned to Google. Just by chance I called Funeral Filming first. As soon as I spoke to Scott, I knew I was not calling the other options.
Scott was clear with availability, professional with explaining what we could expect on the day and fair with his pricing, when others may have taken advantage of my desperate need.
On the day, Scott delivered, arriving to the Church 2 hrs prior, then on to the crematorium, providing a stable stream with a great angle and sound, enabling so many of our friends and relatives around the world to "attend" and pay their respects to our Dad.

We were trying to find someone who could live stream my father's funeral service, so that my brother in America and other people who couldn't attend the service in person could watch it. My sister found the link to Scott's website and shared it with me.

Right from the initial call Scott couldn't have been more helpful, and his professionalism shone throughout. He is exactly the kind of person you want to work with, particularly at what can be a very stressful time for all the family. He exudes confidence, built on a solid foundation of knowledge and experience, and I think it's fair to say that nothing fazes Scott.

Every church, and possibly every funeral service, has its own idiosyncracies, but with every question we asked of Scott he had the perfect answer.

We initially had some concerns about the wifi and cellular coverage at the church, but Scott utilises cellular bonding technology that ensures connectivity at all times - basically the same technology that is used for outside broadcasting.

The church where we held the service also had a downstairs overflow room, to which Scott ran a fibre-optic cable and a large screen so that any attendees there wouldn't miss out.

In the main church itself Scott ran a double camera system that resulted in a broadcast-quality live stream. The equipment Scott uses really is first class, and everyone who used the link on the day has praised the quality of the filming. Subsequent to the service Scott then makes the recording available for download in a variety of formats.

The evening before the funeral I suddenly remembered I hadn't shared any photos with Scott for him to put on the web page where he was hosting the live stream. I sent him a very apologetic email together with a photo, and at 08:00 on the day of the funeral Scott replied to say that it was all set up and ready. That kind of service is second-nature to Scott.

As you can tell by this point in my review, I have nothing but praise for Scott and his work. He has been a pleasure to work with, and I would recommend him without hesitation.

I was so pleased at the professionalism of this service. The equipment was set up two hours in advance. The last thing we would have wanted was trails of wires and cameras in our face at our mothers funeral. It was all so subtle it didn’t impose itself on the speakers. Relatives in Malta, Switzerland and Australia all watched and felt they had been present. The quality was very good and I would highly recommend this service.

Scott has, without being obtrusive, live streamed or for viewing after or downloading, made an excellent film of my father's farewell church service.
It was done for those unable to attend but is also a fascinating time shot of the family and friends. I suspect it is a film which will become more interesting as time passes as a brilliantly saved memory.

The funeral and celebration of the life of my wife, Marion, took place on 16 September. It was a joyous uplifting occasion; a wonderful, fitting tribute to a very special Christian lady.

The service was filmed and live-streamed at the time, and recorded by Scott Davey.. I was nervous about whether this would work but the cameraman, Scott Davey, put my mind at rest. In the event, it was viewed simultaneously with the congregation in St Giles, Ashtead, Surrey, - in California (at 6am their time), Florida, Toronto, Perth (Australia), Stockholm (Sweden), and several parts of the UK. All who have responded so far have remarked on the clarity of the filming and the quality of the sound. Several have been very complimentary about the choir and the music.

Not only that; the recording of the whole occasion is (somehow) stored on the same website and will be able to be seen for some time by anyone who was not available at the time and wants to, and by others of us who want to see it again. And I am planning to get copies on DVDs and memory sticks.
