Bought one cap and it had its color washed out on the first washing. Washed with cold water, regular soap. Customer service claimed they couldn't do anything because i didn't buy the cap in their website, but from a retail store. If the brand cares about its quality, does matter where I bought it. I definitely dont recommend this brand.

Mijn bestelling duurde ruim 3 weken en helaas waren de items niet voor mij bestemd qua fitting.
Ik heb 15.00 retour kosten betaald en nu halen ook nog 9,00 euro af van mijn aankoopbedrag.
Dus ik betaal 24,00 voor niets!
Heel slechte service.
Mijn advies: niets online bestellen. Komt vanuit de UK en de levering duurt ruim 3 weken.
En je krijgt als replay op je mail een standaard bericht.

I would like to leave a review for Amelia C at the store in Cannock McArthurGlen.
My experience at this store was amazing. Having taken my father shopping there the staff were so kind and helpful. Having made a number of purchases my father left one bag behind by mistake. I travelled back there a number of days later to see if the item was still there and it wasn’t but the store were so helpful, found his order documents and replaced the item. Amelia C was so so helpful. Amazing customer service from the store and its staff. Brilliant

Incompetence & Customer Service Terrible
I purchased 2 blouses from the York outlet & was informed I could return to other stores if not suitable. I returned one of them to the Meadowhall branch, but the lady didn't put in through properly and no refund was provided.
I emailed customer service who said (Mia), they couldn't help me and I should contact the York Outlet. Then the same adviser replied saying, a refund was given but I had to wait a whole five days for this to be processed. I explained it had been 7 days already and still no refund. I was then advised to contact my bank.
I spent 3 hours on the online chat trying to sort out this issue. The bank told me that the transaction had not gone through because it had not been processed correctly. French Connection told me that there was nothing further they could do unfortunately and suggested that I raise a dispute. Then a supervisor (Heidi) emailed me, then called me, then emailed me some more. I was given an authorisation number, then asked for the bank to do a charge back.
Hours of frustration caused by incompetence. Was this the only option available? Terrible service and terrible complaints procedure.
I doubt I will be returning anytime soon.

I thought I’d ordered from the kids section .
It wouldn’t even go over my head.
This top was more like an extra small.

Don't order from their website if you are in EU. The delivery was fast, but return is a nightmare. No instructions how to return from EU, just said that it is at your own expense. Ok, but post is requesting some HS code for the customs, which is not mentioned anywhere. No help from client service, just a standard reply with a text from their website.

French Connection has mastered the art of taking money first and communicating never.
Placed an order, received payment confirmation instantly of course, but when it comes to dispatch information? Silence. No tracking. No courier details. No updates. Just a vague “awaiting update” status sitting there for days like some kind of joke.
Customer service is equally useless. You have to chase them for the most basic information that any competent retailer provides automatically. At this point customers are expected to become detectives trying to figure out whether their parcel even exists.
The most irritating part is the complete lack of transparency. If there is a delay, say so. If there is a warehouse issue, say so. Don’t leave customers in limbo refreshing emails and tracking pages that contain absolutely no real information.
For a company this size, the logistics and communication feel amateur at best. Premium branding, bargain-bin operations.
Reading other reviews makes it obvious this is not a one-off issue either.
Would not trust them again for time-sensitive orders unless you enjoy paying first and finding out what’s happening somewhere between this week and the next ice age.

Awful quality
Ordered what looked like a lovely blue wrap dress. On arrival it was awful. Thin, see through, really poor quality - like something you'd get off a cheap Chinese site. Returned without even trying it on.

Customer service on delivery info is non existent. Bought a dress ten days ago and no information on where it's coming from or what courier is being used. My status is currently "awaiting update" whatever that means !!

Very disappointed with . The clothes started pilling after just one wear, and after the first wash they shrank and the color faded.
Poor quality for the price. Customer service was also frustrating—I had to chase my refund after returning the items.
Would not recommend.

Fantastic French Connection!
Been ordering from French Connection for a few years now. Quality of clothing is exceptional and unlike other clothing companies their sales are genuine and amazing I’ve have some real bargains! They also look after their loyal customers with also offering additional 20% off sale items. The returns process is always quick and easy. I know they have encountered some issues recently with refunding customers who shop using shopify but this has now been rectified. I can’t fault this company and I love their clothes!
