Brian, the agent I spoke with was 100%, polite, friendly and efficient, had my problem sorted in minuets. As for pricing Freedom we're half the cost of all other insurance quotes and offered the cover I wanted in the original quote ie driving abroad, screen cover etc.
Hope next year when renewal is due they are still as competitive.

Phoned to insure my van with freedom brokers, communication was difficult with sometimes broken english, three weeks later after spending 45 minures setting up from the original call, I had email to say account will cancel if amount isnt paid within a week!.Bottom line is you are calling people from South Africa! very stressful trying to relay information over the phone, and then it not getting sorted.

It came to renew my van insurance with freedom brokers was not to happy with the initial renewal quote, so I decided I would phone up and was put through to the very helpful, polite and well mannered lady sandy who talked me through my policy again and found me a reduced rate too which I was very happy with so have decided to renew and stay with freedom brokers for another year 😀 😊 ☺️ 😄

I was insured with this company Not…
I was insured with this company Not the cheapest but it was a good price and the person seemed ok at the advice given.
I then 4 months later decided that the vehicle I use would be needing an upgrade.
I calling Freedom brokers was told just call us when you change over vehicles and we can just update the system for a minimum charge.
This was definitely not the case
On calling the company to update insurance eventually got through to a lady that couldn’t speak English. I asked to speak to someone with English as a first language was told that I had to cancel my policy and open paying for a whole new policy. I was then told I would get my remaining money from the first policy returned. After an hour and 20 minutes sitting in the new vehicle everything was sorted and I was insured to drive home.
I have never received my money. I have called and asked but nothing. Just told it’s being sorted. I don’t think it should take 9 weeks to do a refund
Avoid this company as they are just incompetent and only want money. They are not good with aftercare or customer service in anyway.

I have had a reply saying freedom will give me a call to discuss this issue further. I will wait and see Hopefully it will get sorted and I get my money back for the months left from my original policy.
I’m not impressed with the lack of knowledge by the consultants on the phone.
What I was told would and could happen definitely did not.

I have just received an email from Freedom Insurance saying nothing but the gist of the email is they are not interested in helping on this matter. They have basically had my money and are not going to refund as I cancelled the policy ( after being told by Freedom to cancel the policy ). This company is only after money. They don’t care about how they get it even if that means giving false information and ignoring the facts.
Please stay well away from Freedom it’s a disgrace and dishonest company

Having reviewed the interactions on your policy, we can see that our team attempted to transfer your cover to your replacement vehicle, however the insurer was unable to offer cover for the new vehicle under the existing policy, meaning a new policy was required.
We appreciate your frustration regarding the delays and communication during this process. We will be reaching out to discuss your concerns further and provide clarity regarding the cancellation and refund position on your previous policy.
