I wanted to give this company a good…
I wanted to give this company a good review I did but I’m not happy. First off this is a legit focus group website, so that’s a good thing. The bad thing is how long it takes to get paid!!!! I participated in a focus group with Sago on June 7th. FocusGroups.org processes the reward and sends it after like 20 business days. I emailed them to know the status of my reward and NOTHING. They never get back to anybody, that’s why I’m writing a review. It is now July 18th and still no reward. I’m hoping that it will shows up eventually. I will never recommend this company or participate in any focus groups from them ever again!!!

Since you participated in a focus group hosted by Sago, then you would expect compensation from Sago.
FocusGroups.org promotes paid market research opportunities from various companies on our site, and do our best to make it clear that the company hosting the study and contacting qualified candidates would be the one to pay you.
If on the Study Detail page it were to list FocusGroups.org as the company hosting the focus group, then you would expect payment from us. Our payments are processed through our Members Portal in their Earnings, and payment would take 7-14 business days on our end.
Our advice would be to contact Sago for follow up regarding payment. Specifically, follow up with them via the recruiter that contacted you.
We hope this helps, and we hope you continue to use our platform to source legitimate paid market research opportunities!

It is a fraudulent site that I worked on and made withdrawals. They told me that they were having payment problems and would be late in processing my payment, but they did not pay and blocked me after three months.

FocusGroups.org has not had any issues with payout of earnings in 2024. It is likely that you participated in a study through one of the market research companies that promote on our website, and they were responsible for the payment.

Don't waste your money.
We paid the $499 to advertise an upcoming focus group and when I asked for metrics (any type of metrics) on the campaign performance, I got NO response. I have reached out repeatedly - first their site was down and I could not submit a request, then technical difficulties, and with each request, the promise that SOMEONE would get back to me within 48 hours. After 7 attempts, I am done. We will not use this service again. Poor customer serivce, poor performance, and a complete waste of $500. ** Update ** The "owner" reached out to let me know that we'd receive some type of report. After 2 more days, nothing.

Hey there, sorry to hear about your frustrations. Reason why the report couldn't get sent at that time was because the study you submitted was still live on the website. We can only report on the study perfomance after the study has closed. Which, after your study closed, we sent the report within a few days. I also emailed you to notify you, and called.
In the end, we generated lots of exposure and clicks for your study, so all-in-all you did get exactly what you paid for, and then some :)

Dont waste your time
Don't waste your time. Every time i believe that there may be a legitimate study and i enter my information it turns out to be a marketing campaign for some completely different company. HOW DECIEVING IS THAT. I would highly recommend that if you do decide to give it a try... get a Junk mail set up and a trash phone number. Shame on this method and those that do this. What a fraud.
