Website indicated orders of $75 or more ship free . Found a pair of Nikes that my child wanted discounted but well over $75. Am I quick checkout because my child was near I didn’t realize they still charge me shipping which brought the price right back to the original. I tried to cancel and that item was “not eligible” for immediate cancellation. I can certainly bring it back to the store for a refund, but I would still be out the shipping cost so what’s the point? I will no longer purchase from here.

I ordered sneakers after spending hundreds of dollars cash I got a credit to my account I ordered myself a pair of shoes and they canceled the order so they say due to low inventory but on my account page it doesn't show that it's canceled it still says it's processing and there's a deadline to use that credit so now because I'm unable to reach anybody via phone or email my credit is going to expire not only is it going to expire but I will not be getting the shoes that out purchase with the money that I earned spending my own money I just think it's a scam and I rate them very poor and I just advise other customers to be weary when using that platform they are scam artists

Bought 608 New Balance sneakers and within one year the soles had separated from the upper part of both shoes almost seemed like it wasn’t glued properly

I ordered 2 pairs of sneakers.After a few days I received an initial email informing me that my shipping address was incorrect. The exact second I received that notification I emailed back,however, every single time I tried to reply to that email, it bounced back immediately as undeliverable. I called customer service to get this fixed.

When I called customer service, the representative was completely unhelpful and didn't even understand why I was calling. They told me addresses can only be changed within 24 hours of placing an order—yet I was never sent an email informing me of the address mistake until well after that 24-hour window had already passed. I was given zero functional ways to contact them to fix my address, and nobody on their support team was willing or able to help me.

To top it off, the representative claimed that after 7 days, my order would be canceled automatically and refunded if they couldn't reach me.
I am STILL waiting on my money-NEVER AGAIN FAMOUS FOOTWEAR!!

Placed an order 9-1-26 at 10:50am. order confirmed at 10:56am, pending on chg card. AT 10:52am received email that order could not be filled. Yet, the chg continued to be pending on my cc account for 7 days. I found it highly irregular that they would know they did not have an item, send an email saying they could not fill the order, yet hold that amount $100+ as a pending on my card for SEVEN days. This sounds like a very sneaky way to boost their totals and use my money for a week. I will not be ordering from this company ever again, due to this unethical practice. Many other shoe companies to buy from that are honest and do not try to play games with your money. They do not have a good reputation, should have checked here prior to ordering.

I work 3 months for famous foot wear as assistant manager all I received was verbal abuse for my store manager Joe mulkey when something went wrong that wasn’t in my control it was always my fault I was humiliated by Joe and the other employee there I never got my passcodes for the alarm to close the store Joe took away all my responsibilities as a assistant manager I was not aloud to do anything because when I try to make my job Joe he said don’t touch anything I was the only he ever yelled at if u no what good for u don’t work here at famous wear city place Dallas Texas 75204

I purchased online and picked them up in store. I didn't like so I returned them but since I didn't provide a phone number, they couldn't accept my return at the store. I have to mail it in which isn't bad but it says they will charge me $7.46 for return fee. If this does happen, I will call again and let them know how much ... that is.

Size was way off. By the time you pay shipping to receive, shipping to return and processing fees I'm better off throwing these miserable things out. I'll end up donating them. BUT SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Ordered a pair of shoes online because the local store didn't have them. Got the shoes on time but they were used shoes. There was mud on the sole and the exterior has scoffs of wear and tear. Called customer service and they said all they could do was for me to take them back to the store and get a refund and then order another paid online. Talk about customer service and value of the customer. Make me sad to see less customer service these days.

Do not order from this company! They take your money and then after several days email you that your order cannot be fulfilled due to insufficient inventory. It’s happened to me on repeat and not worth my time. Then they offer a lousy 15 percent discount on something else. How insulting to expect someone to order more. I wanted what I originally ordered not something else. Buyer beware!

Very cheap prices, super fast shipping and great customer service. Not sure why they've got so many bad reviews. Famous Footwear is awesome.

After needing a pair of tennis shoes for over a year I finally did. I ordered a pair of Nikes and a pair of Women's BOBS B Cute 2.0 Slip On Canvas Sneaker with the cat design on them. Nikes shipped then I got the email that the pair of BOBS got canceled. Are you flipping kidding me? There isn't a reason a big company like you cant keep better inventory of products. Or somehow make the purchase happen. When the Nikes come in, you'll be getting them right back. Never again will I ever bother with y'all again.

Been waiting for my shoes for over 10 days so decided to email... I was told they had insufficient inventory and had to cancel my order. I was never notified about this. If I didn't email, how would I know??

I'm head bought these really nice sandals on clearance. Since my size never differs, I casually put them on to try them out and they seemed okay. However, when I tried them on a few days later I felt I needed to go up a half a size. I went back to the store and told the clerk that I was going to look for a half size up so that I could exchange them. I did not find any in my size. When I went up to the counter, and explained to the gentleman that they didn't have different size, he had the nerve to ask me, if I had tried them on before I bought them, in which I felt was in a rather snarky way. I told him I had, but they felt different once I took them home. That was the most insulting situation ever. I will never go back there again.

I wish I have read these reviews before shopping with them. I purchased two shoes for my daughter and had to return one as it was too small( noted that I used their measurements). They made me pay $10.95 plus taxes to return it. Almost a month I have returned it and no refund until now. I have sent email no replies, everytime I call, I am always getting :"we are closed right now" while on their website it says they are opened Mon.-Fri. 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM CT

Was concerned about all the bad reviews. Decided to give it a chance anyway. Ordered 5 pairs for my girlfriend and myself. Received everything within 7 days with no error on sizes or anything. Thanks a lot ! Great prices and service.

Order for store pick up at Easton mall Columbus.They sent me an email stating order was ready and the store hours that day closed at 9pm.I got there just after 8pm to find door locked and hours changed to 8pm on a hand written note.Called them to complain,asked them to pay for delivery since they caused me to waste 25 mins of my time and fuel.They refused and came up with excuses that don’t resolve problems.
They tried to blame corporate for the bad information on the email.When you call their store,the message tells you the wrong time.They aren’t ran very professionally.My money is going somewhere else,in hopes this place goes out of business.

Honestly, I thought the sandals I ordered would be great and they weren't. That's okay, my feet are persnickety. What bothers me about Famous Footwear is this. First, they charge a lot for shipping. When you return, they charge you again for shipping. My original cost was $44.54. They refunded me $26.04. $18.50 was the cost to ship and ship back. I basically received nothing and was out almost $20. I'll never order from them again. Whatever happened with free returns? I've seen other stores do this as well. TJ Maxx is notorious for this kind of policy as well. Never again.

On the 11th, I ordered a pair of Nikes and a pack of socks, which were showing in stock in all sizes (including mine) on the site, hoping it would come in the promised 3-5 business days. After waiting for 5 days (the 16th) with no shipment updates, I checked my email and saw that they had cancelled my order and upped the price of the shoes I originally ordered by +$20, all to give me an "apology" coupon and say they had "insufficient inventory". On the 18th, I decided to order another pair (of a different shoe), as I still had some hope that the inventory was just a one-time thing with the pair I had originally ordered. Sure enough, I get an email today (4 days later, the 22nd) that my second order was also cancelled for "insufficient inventory" and they gave me the same "apology" coupon again. It appears they lie about, or maybe don't even know what shoes they truly have in their inventory, even if it's on the site with all sizes available. From what I've seen, this company is EXTREMELY inconsistent, unreliable, and disappointing. Safe to say, I will never be ordering from Famous Footwear's site again (the in-person stores are alright). For how big of a company this is, this is truly disappointing.

I opened a support ticket and received explicit written instructions from the corporate online customer service team (Incident: 260529-002074) telling me to take the defective shoes to a local storefront for assistance.

Trusting their official corporate directive, I drove 40 minutes each way to the location at Pinewood Square (6316 Lantana Rd, Lake Worth Beach, FL). The store manager was aggressively rude, completely dismissive, and flatly refused to help. They hid behind a standard "60-day return window," entirely ignoring that a manufacturing defect bypasses retail return timelines, completely defying their own corporate office's orders.

I called corporate phone support immediately after leaving the store empty-handed to figure out why I was given false information. The phone agent literally said to me: "We don't know the store has a 60-day return policy."

Online support lies to get you out of their queue, retail managers confront you aggressively in the store, and phone agents claim total ignorance to pass the buck. This was a toxic, completely disorganized, and unprofessional interaction that wasted two hours of my weekend and my gas. I am seeking an exchange or a full refund of $32.09 for the defective product as originally promised by their corporate email support.
