Terrible customer service Fabric order paid for 15 dec 2023 then nothing . Previously bad experience Finally told fabric not available. But you have to chase them all the time

Worst nightclub here in London, expensive entrance, deplorable place, mixed bathroom and always dirty. Clueless men inside try to grab you and kiss you forcibly even though you say no, they don't care, so if you ask the security guards for help they don't listen to you and don't help you. At the entrance they stick stickers on the cameras so you don't film anything or take photos. Very dark environment to make it easier for men to touch you everywhere, I went there with lights on my clothes and on my fan to see what was happening around me and the security guards made me turn it off. I hate this nightclub, it is definitely NOT a safe place for women.

I've recently had to order some awning fabric for a project with a tight deadline. The fabric was being shipped from mainland europe and was going to take ages, but the sales rep I talked to was able to arrange a faster DHL delivery so I could meet my deadline. This helped me out so much and I am extremely appreciative to Fabric UK for dealing with me as an individual and making the extra effort to help me out.

We have ordered 22 large curtains from Ajaz and his company over the last three months for our new training facility. Each of these curtains is different, with very specific dimensions and materials. The last 14 in 'Molton Blue' were three-layer sound suppressing curtains. We have been so pleased with all the work that Ajaz has organised for us. The prices have been very reasonable, the turnaround very quick and the communication excellent. We have really found this company a joy to work with and would definitely work with them again.

Out of pocket £57 . Several emails and finally got 3 calls in one day . Excuse was fabric unavailable . This was after 3 weeks of waiting . Said no and was offered refund . Guess what? To date no refund . Avoid this company .

I have just experienced great customer service from fabricuk.com. I was interested in one of their Moroccan Outdoor Fire Retardant Waterproof Fabrics, specifically the ‘Patchwork Mosaic’. But I found the photo of the sample on the website unclear as it is ‘artfully’ arranged.
I sent them a message using their online form, requesting that they send me a photo of the fabric laid out (unfolded). Within 15 minutes I had received an email from Ajaz with the photos that I had requested.
10 out of 10 from me for their customer service.

Ok, to start off with I’ve read through all the feedback comments, positive and negative and tbh I’ve found a few of them ridiculous, most likely written by angry privileged people with nothing else better to do than jump onto their tiny keyboard at the first sign of not getting what they want at a snap of their finger. I don’t usually write reviews but after reading the ones I’ve just read I had to give you my honest opinion.

I personally have been buying fabric from FabricUK for years now, I’ve ordered hundreds of metres of various fabrics over the years and barely had any issues. I’ve stuck with them through covid times and fabric shortages and still keep going back. You see they’re the kind of company that actually do try their best but as with all companies at the moment sometimes struggle to bring in fabrics from all over the world to have what you want when you want it. I’ve waited weeks from other suppliers, both small & large for various items including fabrics because of logistical problems and shortages of supplies etc. Which is totally outside of their control, but they keep you informed along the way like any decent business would.

The vast selection of fabrics that FabricUK sell are top quality, the prices are extremely competitive and I have no issues with their customer services. If I query something like late dispatch, I get a reply and a reason why. They hold hundreds of rolls of hundreds of metres of fabric and they simply can’t unroll them all to see if there are any marks on it. As an independent fabric supplier, FabricUK don’t make the fabric, they buy it in huge rolls and sometimes, when the fabric is made, it goes through the mills so fast that marks get through undetected.

If I have ever purchased fabric and found a mark, I contact them, they replace it. It’s simple. I certainly don’t jump on review sites and have a go at them or anyone else every opportunity I can, I think you have to be an extremely narrow minded person to do this and judging by some of the comments it kind of shows you the state of todays society. If I have an issue with an order, or fabric quality or anything else, I contact them and they go out of their way to resolve it. I choose to purchase fabric from FabricUK, I don’t have too, there are other suppliers of the fabric I use out there yet I seem to go back to them again and again. They do offer other services on their website like stitching and brass eyelet services for Awnings, Gazebos and Tarpaulin covers. They offer various payment methods to suit everyone and cater to the individual and hobbyists, councils, theatres and larger businesses.

Forget the negative comments, give them a try, I’ll certainly be purchasing more from them now and in the future. Thanks.

Placed my order on Monday and it arrived today. It’s exactly what I ordered and seems to be good quality. I’ve opened up the fabric and there’s no damage. Really sorry to hear others have not had such a good experience.

Terrible service, only giving them one star because I can’t give a zero. Ordered some fabric and had an email to say the items I ordered weren’t in stock. I asked for a refund as I needed the material quickly.

I have heard nothing from them since, and they have not returned my money. I’ve also messaged them via their Facebook page and they haven’t replied.

Save yourself the hassle and spend your money elsewhere

Next stop small claims court…

AVOID AVOID AVOID IF YOU DONT WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF this business. They give wrong advice and only do what is convenient for them. The garment is very costly and only suitable for trash can. Not even worth sending it to someone in need or charity. What a waste

I was sent faulty fabric. I called to say I wasn't happy and was told parcel force would collect it from me the next day and they would immediately resend a replacement (I had to stipulate this as I needed it quickly!) But, the fabric wasn't sent out to me for another 7 days and I received the 2nd lot of fabric (which wasn't faulty this time) 8 days after returning the original order. I don't mind mistakes as every one makes them, but don't lie to me and choose to not communicate. Wouldn't recommend and won't use again, which is a shame as I have some large, regular orders to make somewhere in the near future. Customer service is just as important as the product itself.

I was worried by reading the reviews on here, but after ordering with Fabric UK regardless, I had a very positive experience.
My item arrived the very next morning exactly as ordered.
