Been to Fabric Uk many times though my time studying fashion design at university. I travel about 50mins to this store, all the staff are extremely helpful, and go above and beyond to find what you are looking for!

Always goes above and beyond to help my daughter when she wants specific fabric. Highly recommend Lots to choose from

Always get exactly what I need from here and more! There is a great range of stock on the website but as this business is fairly local, you can always pop in and speak to the owners. Its nice to have a chat with the people in store as they come with generations of knowledge, great prices (the best) and you are supporting one of few remaining family owned businesses.

Ajaz and his son were so incredibly helpful to me. The fabric I was going to order wouldn’t have arrived in time so they kindly offered to take it to London and for me to collect it the next day so I had it for my shoot. I’m eternally grateful for their kindness and will definitely be ordering fabric from them again. The fabric itself was beautiful and looked amazing in the shoot I was working on. I’d highly recommend Fabric UK.

I have ordered textiles from Ajaz and his team at FabricUK for quite some time now. They are always helpful to get whatever obscure fabrics I require from their hugely extensive product line, from my less than perfect descriptions over the phone. In the small number of cases where they don't already have in on their shelf, they will source it from elsewhere without argument or delay. In an age of A.I. threats to business, it is great to still be able to speak directly with them (human to human) over the phone, rather than go though a web-bot to place orders. I can then be sure that I will get the exact material I want, not a close-to-ish material that has been misunderstood by a website algorithm.

Ajaz and his highly skilled team, offer a professional service, going out of their way to deliver a wide range of products for both big and small orders. I recently needed something that was time critical and they pulled out all the stops to ensure I got what was needed on time. I would highly recommend KBT fabrics.

I ordered by phone and paid by cc. The fire retardant black material for use backstage was delivered to Cheddar promptly. Excellent service. Thank you.

I’ve been buying waterproof fabrics from this company for my small business for a while - the quality is fantastic. I recently ran out of my most popular fabric and a replacement was sent which wasn’t quite right for me (they had run out of stock). I phoned and the customer service to help me has been absolutely fantastic - 5 stars- the day after I raised the issue I have received a new roll of the perfect fabric which has saved the day at my busiest time. In a time when customer service is sometimes lacking the experience here has been brilliant. I will look to source as much fabric from here to support them as they have me. Thank you.

I built a DIY pergola which needed a bespoke shade to be made. It was complex and needed to work for a retractable function. Ajaz and his team stepped up to the challenge and did an amazing job making the shade with a high quality fabric. It looks amazing. Thank you guys and keep up the good work.

I bought the fabric, was told that it was out of stock *after* the fact, and then was told that it would be back on Tuesday. Tuesday came and went. Ajaz did not reply to my emails professionally, didn't reply to my last one at all, and is overall turning out to be a bit of a joke.
I've threatened to call my bank to get the money back, so we'll see how that goes. Even if it does end up being shipped, I've now waited two weeks on fabric that the website promises will only take three working days to post. I'm on a deadline! It's ridiculous.
My other go-to sites (poundfabrics, for example) don't carry the fabric I wanted. That is the ONLY reason why I went to Fabric UK, and I will not be going again. Thankfully, unlike other reviewers who didn't get their parcels, I only spent £15 (including postage). Just another site to warn people about, I suppose.
EDIT: it has arrived! The lethal email+phone call combo was too powerful to resist, I suppose. I still would not recommend this site for the reasons above.

I ordered samples from here. It was great came in record time by royal mail the comms were good and quick and clear. Got order confirmation and tracking and delivery information via email. 2nd order not so much. Got the order confirmation email then nothing. Over a week later I email asking about the status I get a quick short informal email saying "this will go out today" that's it. I aks about delivery and tracking info and then the guy emails back saying he will be in my city tomorrow and gives me his phone number.
It was all really weird and such a contrast from my first order. I get that thry are a small business but when I expect royal mail to deliver my order in a certain time frame and that doesn't happen and you get short informal comms from someone it just is strange. Not like they are brand new either. I also said i didn't like that he wasn't going to send it via a recognised delivery service and they just ignore that request of mine completely which is weird as when I ordered I was expecting royal mail. The guy did deliver it while I was out of the house but I personally will order elsewhere, just not as sophisticated and professional as they could be.

They couldn't be bothered to put the correct postage on my delivery, so had to pay to get order. Bad Service. Price fixing, looking to sell cheaper. Won't use again.

Excellent service from Fabric UK. I wanted a bespoke cover made for my Lumi ice bath out of sun reflective material. Ajaz sent out 3 samples immediately, I chose one, gave him the size required and within 2 weeks it was delivered. Fits perfectly and the quality of the stitching/overall product is very good. 10/10

Thought I would write a review after reading all the negative ones.
I ordered self adhesive black felt, and received a confirmation email immediately.
The next day I did not receive any more communication, so I sent an email asking if it had been dispatched...they did not reply.
4 days after ordering (today), the felt arrived.
Coms could be better, but hey, maybe they are just mega busy.
I got what I ordered, so I am happy with using Fabic UK again in the future.
4 stars instead of 5 because of lack of coms.

Charged me, didnt send anything, when I called up they said it's because they're out of stock of that fabric. I asked for my money back, they said they would process a refund and didn't. I called again and they again promised to refund, they didn't. Lying thieving company.

Ordered about £50 worth of fabric. It wasn’t what I wanted (images & description didn’t indicate that the wool fabric would arrive filthy and covered in dirt which then got everywhere!) so I sent them an email asking about a refund or return. Still no response after a week. Terrible customer service as other reviewers have said.

I’ve been using FabricUK for a number of years and they always seem to have what I’m after, even if it does require a rummage round the back of the warehouse. This time however I needed something different. Within 3 days, Ajaz had sorted me out with a 10 metre bespoke printed fabric. Really quick, great quality and a great price. Excellent job. Thanks!

My first port of call for all my fabric needs. Whenever I'm in the store customer service is always above and beyond. Uncle always sorts me out, and goes above and beyond to make sure i get what I'm looking for. I've been doing buisness here since 2019 until present. Highly recommend, whether you're looking for fabric for domestic needs, buisness, or are a budding fashion student, startup etc.
