Great for handling a low number of card payments
Receiving only a handful of corporate credit card payment requests each year, I wanted a way to accept and process them without incurring an annual fee. Eway charges nothing unless a payment is processed, and the amount that is charged can easily be offset by me stating on the invoice that a percentage is added for settling by card. During transactions a notification in the portal immediately advises if the client's payment is successful, but the money can then take about 5 days to show in my account. Once I knew that it became a great way to easily accept payments, and it is reassuring to receive a $0.00 invoice for the months where I have processed nothing.

Xero Bank Feeds available. The gross amount of sales is deposited into your bank account
eWay enables the following two things that are non-negotiables for me:
1. It provides a genuine Xero Bank Feed.
2. The gross value of any sale is shown in the feed (as opposed only showing a net sale amount after fees have been deducted). This makes for a much cleaner ledger and simplifies the reconciliation process.

We have been using Eway for years to…
We have been using Eway for years to improve our payment process. We have never had any issues. It's easy to refund or partial refund clients, and it increases trust to be able to do so within the payment processor.

Fake company ..
Fake company this company is not trusted company,bcz I have invested 5lakhs to this company from my saving, the name of the person which I invested his name was MAXIN KURIAN MD of this company , bcz of him I have invested there ,but he cheated me I dint given back my money.
From his side there is no response,please don't trust this company.

Just all around bad - So many issues
I used their gateway service and it's buggy as hell, so many lots sales because of user issues with the software. The native payment page is awful and can't be customised to look presentable so customers leave due to unease of using the software that looks scammy. If you use your e-commerce shop payment screen things get even worse! The support is also terrible. They have no intention of improving the service and it's also incompatible with Google and Apple pay. I would rater pay double the fees and run strip it's that bad.

Premier Lawyers and Eway app
The Eway app stopped loading on two android phones and has caused a lot of problems with Premier Lawyers as they don't believe there is an issue. Important property issues and information need to be checked daily. This app is a joke.

Quality product, support is EXCELLENT.
What a fantastic company. I am integrating a payment processing facility into a 3rd party piece of software, and despite the issue being with the 3rd party service, both Alisha Lord and Billy Streets in the support team were absolutely fantastic in workshopping the solution for me and identifying the issue (in the 3rd party service). Multiple calls and research on their end meant they found my solution. They went above and beyond and it is truly appreciated!

eway cooperates with online casino and launders money .. they have withdrawn money from my bank account without me having bought any services
High fee, fraud detection is falling behind, we decided to drop EWAY after 10 years of relationship
We have been with eWAY for nearly 10 years and decided to quit and drop them this year. Their technology has not kept up with the market scams and falling behind in fraudualent card surveillance, user friendliness, ease of use and complicated integrations with major shopping carts for 3D secure card processing.
Merchants need to beware of EWAY's poor security fraud detection recently. We got 3 chargebacks over 3 days in a row in January 2024. EWAY charges one of the most expensive card processing fee in the market at 2.2%+GST for this level of lax security standard for merchants. Don't expect anything eWAY will do to investigate card fraudsters with the bank and represent the merchants fairly based on the purchase records. Merchants are sure to be in a 100% losing position for any card dispute.
Our business has been scammed by…
Our business has been scammed by fraudulant credit card purchases through Eway for over a month. Eway was aware of this, as they requested proof of delivery etc from us almost daily for a period of 3 weeks.
Eway did not have the courtesy to inform us that we are being scammed.
We have lost large amount of funds due to this and looking at various methods to recover this from Eway.

I have already commented on this in initial review.
Staff were efficient, quick to respond to questions, actually answered the questions and no question was a silly one - which I appreciated having no idea how this whole process worked.
