Event Travel is a Fraud Company.
Event Travel has so many hidden charges and fees and contractual obligations that it essentially prevents you from doing just about anything with your own tickets that you purchased. Keep in mind that you will spend hundreds of dollars on your tickets that you STILL DON'T OWN! You can't do anything with them and ever action you take costs some money. Sell it? Can't. Want to cancel? Can't. Transfer? Costs something. These people are Shysters with a capital S and if you value a good experience that you don't have to continue shelling out money for just do do what you want with a set of tickets, then DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
The advertising implied that the enormous price I paid for Dylan tickets was essential to secure the best seats and a VIP experience. It was therefore a great disappointment to see that I had paid an extra several hundred pounds for absolutely nothing. I paid way over the face value of the tickets. Don’t book through them - book direct with the venue. I feel like the victim of a con trick and the ‘gift’ was rubbish. Dylan was good but it’s disappointing that his organisation ally themselves with a company like this.
This company sold me 3 x tickets to see Bob Dylan at the Palladium on Sunday 23rd October for a total of £957.00. I thought at the time that it seemed rather expensive, but seeing as it was for a “very” special occasion and was marketed as a GOLD VIP package, I thought it would be worth the expense.
I was rather surprised when the tickets arrived, as the face value of each ticket was £130.00, however, I did not contact Event Travel about this, as assumed the rest of the value would be made up with the VIP experience to come on the night.
So to confirm, their GOLD VIP package is a handout of concert memorabilia which has a net value of about a fiver. On Sunday, we were gifted a plastic washbag, with matching broken key fob and a cardboard lanyard. Not quite what we were expecting having paid over £180 extra per ticket.
That said, Bob Dylan was amazing and put on an amazing performance for an octogenarian. Just a shame that we booked through Event Travel who over inflate their prices and offer no customer service thereafter.
The hotel was inconveniently located for transport to the event venue. It was very average, needed some maintenance, ok but not the best room - I expected better for the price of the package. Breakfast was of a good standard. I had mentioned it was a special occasion but there was no recognition of this. Block with seating was ok - again not the best. Basically very little frills to the 'platinum package'. Never again - I could have, should have, organised myself and probably would have spent a lot less for better.

I booked tickets to see Pearl Jam at Hyde park.
The tickets included the summer garden and unlimited bar and we had the most perfect day!
I bought the tickets in December for my fiancé’s Christmas present.
The fact that I could pay a deposit and had a few months to pay it all off made such a difference.
The tickets arrived via the AXS app a week before the gig and the whole process was stress free.
I’ll definitely be using again!

We were meant to in one hotel .
We were told there was renovation work at the hotel.
We checked the hotel it is taking bookings.
We were then told it was over booked.
Total rubbish.

My friend and I booked some tickets and a hotel stay through Event Travel for the Ed Sheeran concert on Friday the 24th of June 2022.
The whole process was seamless, and any queries I had were answered quickly and professionally.
Hannah was really helpful and happy to answer any questions I had. We were also kept up to date in the run up to the concert regarding tickets, hotel accommodation etc.

VIP/Gold Hotel package for Genesis at the o2. Hotel was 20 mins away- by Taxi
Offered in package 'Themed Carrier - This was in fact a paper bag. And we were only allowed one between 2.
Offered in package 'on site event management and VIP Hosts'- This was in fact one person handing out said paper bags.
After complaining by email I was told these were 'highly received' 'a keep sake' and if not 'fully recyclable.
After adding the costs published on the websites of both the 02 and Hotel- It would appear they have charged me over £200 for 1 paper bag- and cost me over £30 in Taxis, £21 in parking, and time on complaint emails and reviews.

Myself & my friends travelled from Ireland to Leeds to attend the Steps concert, but unfortunately even though the band & show itself was amazing, it was overshadowed by the shockingly low quality “VIP” experience provided by Event Travel. From our initial experience with this company months previous at the booking stage, where our booking appeared to go through but found out when the package was sold out it hadn't (due to a server problem) to then be told we’d have to buy an upgrade package and buy our seats for almost the same price. Even though this was frustrating, we accepted the situation & looked forward to a memorable trip over to meet Steps at the gig. After paying £450 each for our ticket & meet and greet element, the photo which was taken & sent to us was of such shockingly low quality, it is unusable. I have seen better photos taken on mobile phones. If more thought had been put into a decent set-up with sufficient lighting, the band & fans would have been clearly seen & at the very least have produced a high resolution picture (of which £450 should at least justify). When we raised these issues over email with Event Travel, we were told that the picture was only ever a “photo opportunity” and not a high quality picture, which is laughable at the price. And in summary, we were basically told they were at no fault & that was that. When we emailed again & asked for a more detailed response to our issues, we were told that they were sorry if they didn’t “achieve our expectations” (passive aggressive to say the least) and wished us a Happy Christmas. We will certainly be raising this issue further in line with trading standards & consumer rights. Event Travel do not provide any level of customer service, they just take copious amounts of money from customers & expect us to keep quiet if anything goes wrong. I will never use this company again.

VIP steps Birmingham, blurred photo which we were expected to print out ourselves rather than be presented with a nice glossy copy, rushed through the one to one time… practically ushered away and a rubix cube and a diary do not warrant the £1000 we paid for the 2 of us for the super fan package I would have maybe given another star but the customer service is non existant and dont even acknowledge that they have received a grievance…

Really bad company. Offer a meet&greet with Steps. It cant be called a M&G. 5 seconds steps, blurry photo taken with an iPhone. They advertise a lot, but cant deliver what they promiss. Customer service wont reply to complaints. No refunds offered. Never book with this company!
